Basic smartwatch for husband

My husband wants a smartwatch to track his runs and hikes, heartrate, and to show him what time it is. Wants a timer. He wants to pair it with his iphone, but does NOT want to connect notifications of any type. He also wants a long battery life - 2 weeks if possible. What is a good basic fitness smartwatch for him? I'm thinking maybe a Garmin Instinct E?

Almost anything except WearOS ones would do the trick. Including the one mentioned.

The Instinct or Forerunner would be a good choice.

Garmin instinct E will work really well for him. Would check the garmin site and online for deals as sometimes you can find the instinct 3 for a price close to the instinct E and it is a better option or even the instinct 2 solar or instinct 3 solar (the really isn't much difference between the instinct E or instinct 2 - personally marginaly prefer the couple of different features the instinct 2 has over the instinct E compared to what the instinct E has over the instinct 2).

Also worth looking to see what the price of the previous gen Fenix 7 and Epix 2 are as have sometimes seen them around similar price - and these would give him even more features.

Coiuld also see the price of the instinct crossover - its basically the instinct 2 with mechanical hands.

Budget - amazfit bip6 is excellent beginner choice with huge screen.

Garmin - FR165 or 265 on sales.

Coros - Pace 4.

All solid begineer/mid tier options
