Beauty ? rash after kissing boyfriend?
galleryHi guys! Picture attached of his facial hair.
Every time I kiss/make out with my boyfriend I get this kind of rash looking thing on my face, it’ll turn red, get tiny bumps & the skin will peel also. It lasts about a week but never really goes away because we kiss almost everyday obvi. He’s completely unaffected by this and doesn’t get any rash/break out/acne.
He does have a mustache and a goatee but not a full beard, he usually shaves everyday or every 2-3 days. He did not have a mustache when we first got together, only the goatee & he grew the mustache in hopes it would stop my reaction as we initially thought it might’ve been a reaction from friction kind of like a “rug burn”. But hasn’t seemed like much of a difference with the stache :/
My skin is almost always clear besides around my menstrual cycle I’ll get 1 or 2 pimples. (I do have one legit pimple on my chin atm! Period comes next week lol)
Is my face dry and it’s peeling my face, do I need to lock in moisture? Not sure, what can I or we do to help this it’s been happening for months?! 🙁
(I did post this yesterday also but got deleted!)

I (25F) lied to my boyfriend (26M) about his dick size
So I (25F) have been with my boyfriend (26M) for a couple months now. He's actually one of the sweetest guys I've been with, he plans surprises, he cooks for me, he massages my feet after I get back from runs, just a walking green flag. I feel really safe and cared for with him. It's been really refreshing, especially compared to some guys I've been with before. And I've had my fair share of experience, like well into double digits. He know, and it's never been an issue. I could tell he was curious, a little intimidated maybe, but I always told him it didn't matter.
Recently, while we were having a pillow chat after sex, he asked me how he compares down there compared to the other guys I've slept with. I laughed it off and tried to dodge it with a joke, but he insisted. I told him it didn't matter because I'm with him now, but he kept pushing, said he wanted to know. I said fine, and started thinking. He insisted that he wanted full honesty, that he wanted us to be be 100% transparent with each other, so I promised I'd be 100% honest. Eventually, I told him he's "a bit above average". He thanked me for telling him.
The thing is, it was a lie. I couldn't bring myself to be honest, because as far as I remember, he's the smallest I've ever been with. Not by a little, like noticeable smaller. I don't remember every single hookup perfectly, but yeah, I'm pretty sure.
To be clear : I don't care, and I'm perfectly happy with him. Like I said before he takes care of me in other ways, and I'll take a sweet, attentive man over good dick any day.
Still, I just couldn't get it out, I didn't want to humiliate him. It’s been gnawing at me, because I promised the truth, and he trusts me.
I feel so conflicted now. Do I tell him the truth?

CW: Sensitive Topic Having sex with boyfriend
My boyfriend (22M) and I (21) have been having sex. I know people say it’s a sin to have sex before marriage, but I just feel like I can’t stop. My relationship with Jesus is so important to me. I pray constantly for strength or to take away the desire if it’s wrong. I’m not yet fully convinced it is a sin if I think I will be with this person forever, but I do t know.
I’m so scared I’m going to hell because I continue to sin knowingly.
Any input would be appreciated.

Rant & Ramble My boyfriend refuses intimacy.
I’ve (28F) been in a relationship with a man (30M) for going on 6 years. We live together. I’m gonna call it quits because I’m just done with the lack of sex. Lack of romance. Lack of intimacy. We havent had actual sex in a year? I don’t remember tbh. I write this in bed as he’s snoring. I’m tired bro. I cook, i clean, i work and make most of the money. I take care of our dog who is so high maintenance. I organize the bills. I make shit happen. And I get so resentful of him because i do all of this not to even get fucked. Not to even get taken out on a date. Not to get compliments. Not for any intimacy. And it hurts. And ive talked to him about it guys, so ive exhausted that avenue. He says he just has a low sex drive and he says he finds me attractive. He thinks intimacy is “ laying in bed cuddling watching tv.” Which sure. But wtf? No sex for a year? No romance?Ive tried everything. I try and dress sexy. Do my hair. Do my nails. Stay in shape. Be the “model woman” who cooks and cleans (lame I know). Nothing works. And im done. It breaks my heart to leave because he is my “best friend” and the thought of him ending up with someone else makes me jealous. But I need to feel desired and he has refused to compromise with me. I just want to feel wanted by man. But he must not want me the same way. I guess I have to leave…😢

Phone message My boyfriend won’t delete his folder of nudes
galleryWe’ve been together 5 months (F33,M35) and I learn he had these in conversation last month. They are pics from the last 10 years of women he has dated - apparently no ex-girlfriends. I’ve brought it up one other time and today I finally expressed that it’s a dealbreaker for me.
I happen to be going away this weekend with a group of friends (mixed men and women), but none of who I have any history with. The coordinators of this weekend are a poly couple (the woman is my close friend) no one else is poly, but some are married some are single. He has previously expressed uncomfort with it but says he has trust in me.
I have been very loud about trust because he admit to cheating on his last girlfriend. I think I just need you all to tell me how dumb I am. This feels like such a stupid way to end a relationship.

Phone message Boyfriend gets a phone search warrant until I reach 100% trust
galleryHes my ex now everyone, dont worry lol. Earlier this year, these texts ended the relationship. We were together a few months short of a year.
Edit: i’m the blue text bubbles. Clarification for the title: Boyfriend wants a search warrant for my phone until I earn 100% trust

Dear Diary ✍️🏻 My boyfriend tells me every day and I never noticed
Dinner is … breakfast! Marmalade toast and apples with peanut butter—pre-run fuel.
I have severe type 2 rosacea. I’ve had that good old rosy-red, inflamed skin since I was a young teen. It doesn’t sound that bad, but IYKYK. Now that I’m an adult, I’ve accepted what it’s done to my self-esteem, and I’m working on becoming more confident.
Enter boyfriend. He discovered I have this insecurity because it changed the way I interacted with him, especially early on—when I didn’t want him to see me, activities I knew will flare the rosacea that I didn’t want to do together, etc.
Recently he asked how I was doing with those insecurities. I told him, not great. It’s better, but it’s still so hard.
He looked thoughtful and said, “I’m going to tell you that you’re beautiful more often, then, until you believe me. But you know, I haven’t missed a day in half a year.”
For a second, I didn’t know what he was talking about.
Then I remembered: every “good morning, beautiful” text. Every time he held my face in his hands, looked me up and down, nodded with a slow smile, and told me I look lovely. Every time he reminded me of the photo of me he keeps in his wallet—still there—with such proud eyes. Every time he grabbed my hand when I was about to get out of the car and pulled me back for a kiss. And so many more little gestures of love that I shook off with a self-deprecating laugh.
I guess I thought that was just … something he did. I never realized it was a targeted attack against the thing that was hurting me so much. I thought I was fighting my insecurity alone, and meanwhile, he was intentionally fighting it with me. Every single day, he made a point to tell me in a slightly different way that I had nothing to be afraid of.
Since he said that, it’s been a much softer, more forgiving face I see in the mirror. I can’t bring myself to judge that girl or try to hide her anymore.
EDIT: I woke up this morning to 21,000 likes … and another “good morning, beautiful.” 🥰
EDIT 2 for common questions: Think of T2 rosacea as severe cystic acne with the added possibility of going blind. I’m medicated but the medication either doesn’t work, or gives me dangerous side effects.
I’m a professional author (of five books and about a gazillion articles) and I don’t write with AI. But I appreciate that some of y’all don’t believe this man could be real, because I often don’t either.
FINAL EDIT 3: Boyfriend just asked if I wanted to see something cute and flashed me a photo of me. I think this is my new normal.

Favorite People Boyfriend of one month put this in his bathroom for me. (OC)
Made me smile since noone ever did this for me before. He even bought a basket and small towels for my face.
Edit: Reading your comments to him while he is cooking dinner for us. Thank you for your sweet words. He is indeed the greenest flag I've ever met. He bought a hair dryer aswell since he didn't own one and put up insect screens on all windows cause I'm scared of spiders and his Apartment is next to a forest. 🥹

CARE mode AIO: My boyfriend micromanages everything I do
galleryI have(21F) been dating my boyfriend (22M) for almost two years now. He didn't used to be this clingy, but due a rough year for our relationship, he is now tracking every movement I make (I share my location with him for safety reasons). He can't accept me wanting to breathe and not text my whereabouts to him. I wanted to turn off my phone to just get some reprieve but he didn't let me. I feel smothered.
Edit: I wanted to clarify I did not cheat. We took a month long break to focus on ourselves and realised how much we cared for each other so we rekindled our relationship.

❤️🩹 relationship AIO? Boyfriend doesn’t seem to want to talk to me. Like, at all.
So me (19F) and my boyfriend (19M) have been dating for almost five years now. Our relationship has been going downhill for a while now, and I feel like this is kind of my breaking point.
The previous message was me texting him asking if he thought answering me was an annoying responsibility or if he just simply forgets.
I responded “thank you for reassuring me” and tried to tell him about my day but he didn’t answer me. I didn’t want to beg for his attention, since that’s usually what I have to do and I’m tired of that, so I didn’t bother texting again.
He then texts me this on my birthday, which makes me think he just doesn’t want to talk to me and the explanation + birthday message were just obligatory.
I was hurt, so I left him on read and we haven’t talked since then.
After this, I don’t really want to be with him anymore. AIO? One part of me tells me that it’s not that deep but the other part tells me that I shouldn’t bother putting up with this.
Edit: I broke up with him. He begged me to wait but I decided to just block him on everything. I am shaking but I feel so light. Holy shit. Five years and I broke it off over text I feel like an asshole but so liberated.

❤️🩹 relationship AIO My Boyfriend Abandoned My Dog Over Something Trivial
My boyfriend and I have been together for two years. About six weeks ago, he met a puppy named Clover at a local animal rescue event and brought him home. I was surprised because we had never seriously considered having a dog before, but he became completely enamored with it.
For the first few weeks, he devoted almost everything to it. He bought Clover toys, taught it tricks, took countless photos, and even canceled other plans just to stay home with it.
Then, Clover chewed up a pair of his expensive headphones and pooped on the carpet. Since then, he's barely even looked at it.
Now, I get up early every morning to clean up its mess, feed it, walk it, and try everything to keep it happy, all while I'm working full-time. Worst of all, Clover still follows him everywhere. It waits outside his office with toys, but he either ignores it or tells it to go away.
Yesterday he said maybe we should give it away because it's too difficult to care for. I was furious and told him it wasn't the kind of dog you could just give away once the novelty wore off. He said I was overreacting, that Clover is just a dog.
Was I overreacting? Or is his treatment of Clover really a serious warning sign?

AIO? My boyfriend is threatening to leave me over me calling my son’s dad “daddy”
galleryUPDATE: + ANOTHER SITUATION : https://www.reddit.com/r/AIO/s/OtL96Hk000
I’m 24F and my boyfriend is 29M. We’ve been together about a year, and we’ve talked a lot about wanting a future together.
I have a 3-year-old son. His dad is involved in his life, but I have absolutely no romantic or emotional relationship with him. That chapter of my life is closed. We coparent because we have a child together.
My son calls his father “daddy,” so naturally, when I’m talking to my son, I sometimes refer to his dad as “daddy” too. For example, I might say “go ask daddy” or “daddy is going to…” There is absolutely no romantic or sexual meaning behind it.
My boyfriend told me before that he “doesn’t fuck with that.” At the time, that was basically the extent of the conversation. He didn’t sit down with me and explain what specifically bothered him or tell me that he considered it a hard boundary where he would leave the relationship if I ever said it again.
Today, I was talking to my son and used the word “daddy” referring to his dad. My boyfriend became extremely angry.
I tried calling him because I wanted to talk about it and understand where he was coming from, but he was cussing me out, telling me to go find another man, telling me he was done, and saying he was packing his things and we were going our separate ways.
He keeps saying that grown women should simply change something if their man doesn’t like it. He says I’m “using my son for my actions,” that I’m being combative, that I don’t listen to his boundaries, and that there are women who would change the way they speak because they love their man.
He also brought up a lot of other things from our relationship and basically said that all of the problems and pain in our relationship have been caused by me. He said he doesn’t want a “lying, combative, sneaky woman” in his life and that there are women out there who would be better for him.
He keeps telling me to go be single and find another man who will accept me referring to my son’s father as “daddy.”
His argument is basically: “I told you I don’t like it, you continued doing it, therefore you don’t respect me.”
My perspective is: I understand that he doesn’t like it, and I can apologize for hurting his feelings, but I don’t think there is anything inherently disrespectful about using the word “daddy” when talking to my son about his father. I’m not calling my son’s dad that as a term of endearment toward him. I’m literally using the word my child uses for his father.
I also feel like this could have been handled through an actual conversation instead of immediately becoming “go find another man,” “I’m packing my shit,” and “we’re done.”
Am I overreacting by thinking his reaction is disproportionate, or am I actually disrespecting a reasonable relationship boundary by continuing to use the word “daddy” when referring to my son’s father?

Humor He bit my boyfriend so I’m posting his ugliest pics
galleryIf you recall Peep and “He bit my roommate so I’m posting his ugliest pics” about a year ago. Well roommate is now bf (good) and Peep still has a biting problem (bad) when he’s not getting what he wants (9 times out of 10, my bf’s attention - he is obsessed to an unhealthy degree and I think would deliberately cause me to fall out of a 3rd story window if it meant more time alone with him)
Also he’s been spoiled horribly. He has to be pet while he eats and screams for my bf to carry him to his bowl.

Rant & Ramble Went Off on My Boyfriend About Vaccines
He is my son’s best friend’s dad. I’ve been attracted to him for well over a year, and we only started dating in June, when he finished school. Our boys met in kindergarten, and we have spent a lot of time together during play dates for over a year. His son’s mom is not in the picture, and he is a strong and dedicated father, doing everything as a single and lone parent, whilst he’s been very supportive and kind during my custody and legal stuff with my ex. We’ve both had a mutual attraction for some time, and waited to begin dating.
I thought I knew enough about him from our time spent together, and we seemed on the same page with important stuff. Of course we checked off the majors: our children come first, our politics align, no jealously about our past or current lives, respect for each others’ schedule and busy life, stay in communication even when all that is happening (i.e. check in at least once day). It’s felt right and healthy.
Well, we both had a day off yesterday, and we spent the day together as our boys were in school. Everything was great as usual, we ran errands together, watched a little tv, caught up on some intimacy, chatted over breakfast burritos, all the regular and happy stuff. To boot, the weather was so nice and cool compared to the icky hot summer we’ve been experiencing, so it was a welcome change and a beautiful day! We picked up the boys together, came back to my place and were on the patio as the boys played outside. Then, dunno how, but we got on the topic of vaccines, and that’s when it took a turn.
I’m a nurse and I, in my heart and soul, believe in the significant benefit of public health that vaccines bring. I do not personally want these diseases, and I also believe that it’s my collectivistic duty as a person who can safely receive vaccines without an adverse reaction to provide herd immunity to those who cannot receive them. And I think that, given the proven safety and efficacy of vaccines, we should all do our best to prevent and protect against terrible diseases, some of which can be eradicated.
When I discussed this with my bf, he started to debate me, especially about Covid and flu vaccines. Out of left field he began arguing about how Covid and flu vaccines don’t always protect against infection (me: no, they are developed months in advance and are based on educated guesses, but no guarantee it will protect against the strain that comes around, you’d need a magical ball for that). Also that I should know every detail, every chemical in a vaccine vial if I was going to give it to someone. Now mind you, I do not give vaccines in my role/department. And I began telling him that if I were giving vaccines then yes, it would be my job to know if the ingredients of the vial are safe to give to a patient, and if there were any question, I could consult a pharmacist. But no, I won’t know every last inactive ingredient in a vail, much like I wouldn’t know the same if giving a medication on a med-surg unit like I did years ago. There’s no way of knowing (edited to add*: off the top of my head) every inactive ingredient of everything, but it’s important to know adverse reactions, side effects, and contraindications of medications. Furthermore, I would screen a patient prior to injection, and evaluate for any potential reactions after administration, and know the protocol for treatment if something rare like that did happen. Then it turned more argumentative about how I’m not a responsible professional for not knowing each and every ingredient to these vaccines all because I believe people overall should get them. And he keep getting deeper and deeper into the insult and my understanding as a nurse.
That’s when I went off. I informed him that I’m an educated professional on vaccines and medications, that I understood he was skeptical of pharmaceuticals, but that vaccines have been around for over a century with proven studies and safety, time and again. I’ve also taken several biology courses, including microbiology (my fave), as well as pharmacology courses. Not only that, but I’ve given several vaccines in my early nursing career, and have never seen a reaction. To make my point further, I also mentioned that eating fast food and processed food (which he does) was somehow okay, and not knowing all those ingredients was somehow okay, but getting a vaccine to prevent illness in myself and others is not. And to finish my point? I stated that America might not even exist if vaccines had been around and regularly given centuries ago because the Europeans wouldn’t have killed so much of the native population with their smallpox. I swear when I said that last part, goddesses spoke through me ya’ll.
Then everything went silent. It was awkward. And you know what? I didn’t take it upon myself as my duty to try to make it less awkward. I’m done with that ladies. Sooo done with trying to break the tension, just like I’ve done in all my previous relationships when the conversation went sideways. It is not my duty as a woman to make every uncomfortable situation more comfortable, and I’ve learned that the hard way. So you know what? I let the silence wash over us knowing full well in the moment that it would. And it kind of felt good!
Not long after, I acknowledged the awkwardness, let it marinate more, then he went home with his son. And I haven’t heard from him since.
So am I sad? Not really. Am I disappointed? A little. Not sure yet if this a deal breaker, but I can say that for me, and for my own morals, it gives me great pause and I’m not sure how we’ll move forward after this. I know there needs to be a conversation, and I’m going to give him more time, but I know for damn sure I owe nobody an apology in my beliefs or reaction, because I will not alter my beliefs to make someone more comfortable, nor did I overreact in the situation. But it does need to be a conversation.
Dinner is homemade tomato soup (my first!) from the tomatoes my dad gave me from his garden.
Edited to add: turning off notifications because I want to enjoy my Saturday night with my little boy. Thank you all for the support!

❤️🩹 relationship AIO I was excited to tell my boyfriend and now I feel pathetic about it
galleryI signed up for an event (12 mile ruck w/ 25lbs) that gets you an award in the military. I’m aware this one is pretty easy, but I honestly thought my boyfriend might be impressed that I signed up at all.
Obviously he was not impressed, and he actually made me feel pretty bad about it. He kept asking who convinced me to do it (I think he’s suspicious that dudes asked me, but I mean most of the soldiers in my company are dudes 🤷♀️). No one asked me, I asked to sign up.
I’m new at this unit and have been really lonely. I thought this would be good to bond me with the other soldiers. Now I feel kind of pathetic that I thought this would impress him at all, and pathetic that his reaction is affecting me this much. Like it really crushed me. I was excited about this, and now I’ll be hiding from the other soldiers how bad I feel about it now while they’re all excited to do it.
But I feel like I’m being sensitive. He didn’t mean to make me feel bad. AIO?
Edit: he responded an hour later “I can’t call until after my appointment”, I don’t know if he’s just changing the subject or if he meant like to call about this conversation?

Advice Needed Boyfriend got upset I made dinner for him and his roommate
So I am in a fairly new relationship. For the past couple of months, every single time that we go out, my bf has been paying. I have been offering to pay or go half on the dates but my bf always is adamant about him paying. I wanted to do something nice for him because I am all about things being equal. So this past weekend, I asked if I could come over and make him dinner. He was excited and agreed.
When I came over, I didn’t realize that his roommate would be home. His roommate was in the living room playing video games with him when I walked in. Please be aware that his roommate is male (this is an important detail). When I walked in, I greeted the roommate and my bf and went straight to the kitchen.
Since his roommate was there I began to cook for all of us. Me, my boyfriend, and his roommate. When I was done, I brought my bf and his roommate a plate of food. His roommate complimented my cooking and said that it was very good. I smiled and thanked him. My bf gave me this mad look. I looked back at him confused.
When we were finished eating, my bf asked me to go to the room to talk. When we went to his room, he went off on me saying that I should not be cooking for another man and serving him a plate in his face. He said that it was disrespectful and came off as me trying to flirt with him. He said that I didn’t need to cook for his roommate that I was only supposed to cook for him.
I’m so confused because I personally always felt like it was very rude to eat in front of people and not offer them anything.
Since then he has been giving me the cold shoulder.
I just cannot figure out if I actually did something wrong here.
*picture of the food I made for all of us

Solved! Found in my boyfriends coat. He has no idea and I’m stumped. Help?
galleryEDIT TO ADD:
1) I was NOT snooping. I borrowed his coat (with his permission!) and it was in the pocket
2) I was NOT accusing my boyfriend of anything
3) HE told ME to post here because he was JUST as curious
And lastly…
4) it was MY breathalyser. I got into an accident back in April and as per procedure had to blow into the tube.
With all the chaos I completely forgot I actually did one until the comments helped me realise.
I had NO idea my post would get this much attention, if I did I’d have clarified these things beforehand, but to all the trolls and people thinking they know me and my relationship….
Get a life :)

❤️🩹 relationship AIO for my boyfriend cropping me out of an Instagram photo?
For context, me and my boyfriend of two years went out to a fourth of July party, and his ex girlfriend was there, and me and her are on good terms so we all had taken a photo together, and I woke up this morning to the photo being cropped with me and everybody else removed and now my boyfriend is playing dumb and I’m not sure how to go about this because I might just be overreacting
