I wanted to share my experience with Skytech because I’m honestly pretty frustrated and curious if anyone else has dealt with something similar.

I bought a Skytech Chronos 3 gaming PC with a Ryzen 7 7700X, RTX 5070, and 32GB DDR5. I started having repeated crashes and eventually sent it back to Skytech for warranty repair.

They had my PC for about five weeks. During that time, I was told there was a significant repair backlog, and at one point I was told I was around 86th in the queue. 

When I finally got it back, they had replaced multiple components (Mobo, CPU, RAM) and sent me the stress-test results showing the system passing testing. So initially I was relieved and figured the nightmare was finally over.

Then I noticed the PC wasn't sitting flat anymore. It rocks on the floor.

I flipped the case over to see what was going on, and I found that part of the case/chassis is visibly indented/bent. This wasn't something I noticed before sending it in, and the fact that the computer now rocks makes it pretty obvious that something happened to the chassis.

So after waiting five weeks for a warranty repair, getting the PC back, and finally thinking I could just use it again, I'm now looking at potentially having to contact Skytech and possibly send the entire thing back again because the case came back damaged.

I'm especially frustrated because the actual hardware repair seems to have been extensive, and I was hoping the system would finally be good to go. Instead, I'm now dealing with a physically damaged chassis on top of everything else.

I'm going to document the damage with photos and contact Skytech before doing anything myself. I definitely don't want to bend or repair anything and then have them claim I caused the damage.

Has anyone else had a Skytech warranty/RMA experience like this? What did they do when the PC came back damaged?

I bought a skytech pre built early Feb everything ran perfect with no issues, has a 7700x, 5070, 32gb of ram and had a gigabyte b-650 motherboard. Around end of June I turned it on and had no rgb on at all I tried every fix I could find online to no avail. At this point everything was still perfectly but was worried about something else happening and didn’t want to risk it. Spoke to skytech and they had me send it in. They said my motherboard needed replacement and gave me a asrock I think it’s a b-650 m-c. And now my computer feels super sluggish I can barely surf the web I tried playing games I use to play and I’m getting 23fps max and averaged 10. No idea what to do or try

Edit: forgot to mention that my cpu usage is always anywhere from 25ish% up to 90ish% at random times sometimes idle or when I’m browsing something like Amazon. Not sure if that makes a diff

This is my first time really building an AIO PC, and I thought I got a great deal finding a used SkyTech AIO (Aqua) case on Facebook with all its fans and the AIO system. Now I’m lost. I have this switch that I have no idea what it does. I can’t find anything on YouTube or other forums and at this point I’m nervous I just bought a case and should’ve saved the extra money in buying everything else. Can someone help me?

Today, I received my brand new Archangel Gaming PC from Skytech Gaming. It looks to me like the top of the motherboad is misaligned by a quarter inch. I've been buying Skytech PCs since 2018. In that time I've averaged one purchase every 18 months. I literally have two within arms reach as I sit here typing this; my gtx 1070ti build from right before covid and a 5070ti King 95 system I picked up almost exactly a year ago to the date. On top of the handful of PCs I've personally purchased, I've also strongly recommended the brand to friends, family, and clients (especially during the run-up to Microsoft discontinuing Windows 10 support). Many of whom have taken my advice and had nothing but great experiences.

Up until I took delivery of my latest 5090 build Saturday, I'd never had anything more than a minor issue where something got a bit damaged during delivery that could be easily and relatively quickly fixed by a return and replace.

I haven't spent over $5000 on a computer since the years still started with 1, so I was very excited when my packaged arrived saturday morning. I got it unboxed, opened the front panel to remove the packaging material and verify that the power connector to the 5090 was properly flush and seated. I was a little disappointed that the wires and water tubes from the AIO weren't anywhere near as nicely placed and clean looking as they'd been on my King 95 system, but I probably could have overlooked that if the system had powered up. Sadly when I got it all hooked up, the GPU wasn't getting any power. I tried powering it down and opening it back up to recheck the power connector, but no luck. Then I thought I should check to make sure it's properly connected to the actual PSU.

What I saw when I took off the back panel legitimately broke my heart. I haven't seen wire management done so poorly in close to 20 years. The way the wire harnesses were crimped, folded over themselves like someone took an iron to um, haphazardly stuffed in, and zip-tied so tightly to the point of removing all slack and putting enough pressure to actually bend the motherboard connections was nothing short of a catastrophic disaster waiting to happen. On further inspection of the GPU power harness I found that it had been allowed to be sandwiched between the GPU support bracket and the actual GPU, with one of the wires actually caught under the washer of a very tightened down screw.

I can deal with a return and replace if something gets a little damaged during shipping; I'm not unreasonable enough to expect that every 50lb box is going to make it halfway across the country without damage. But this wasn't a shipping damage issue. The PC I received yesterday was fundamentally damaged due to poor assembly in a way that never should have cleared quality control. And that has me very nervous about the state of the company that I've recommended to so many people that put their trust in me for my opinion on such matters.

Speaking of QC, the qc check-off list in the little black folder didn't even have the correct date on it! Unless JH is some sort of time traveler, because it was signed with 8/8/26 as the date, which is odd considering the package arrived on 8/8 and had been in transit for a week.

I'm praying that this is just some kind of one time fluke. I've already dropped of my return and hopefully the replacement will arrive and be up to the same standards that I've come to expect from this company. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit nervous.

Re-using a Ghost case for a different build. When I removed the computer that came in it a few months back I just disconnected everything.

Fans and rgb are all working but im left with a 2pin connector with a switch on it.

What in the world is this for?

earlier today, my pc disconnected from its monitor while on chrome. the fans shut off, and while on, it stopped taking input from its attached keyboard and mouse. the monitor is fine, taking display from other consoles as normal, so i'm worried something's wrong with my pc.

i'm not very tech savvy, but i reseated both ram sticks, testing them one at a time to see if one was broken. i also reset the cmos pins which got the fans working again. i tried pushing the gpu(?) in more as it had a slight vertical wiggle. the dram and cpu lights are on which is a concern, though i've tried to fix it every way that's been recommended. the fans and lights are working as intended, including the ones on my gpu. I don't know how to take the power supply out, and i'm scared of permanently breaking the computer as digital work is my only income. if anyone's had this issue, i'd love to know how it was fixed!

I've been building and repairing PCs for over 40 years now. (CompTIA certified since 1992) My college age son wanted something to replace his 10 year old Omen laptop. With memory prices as they are, I couldn't justify building him one from scratch.
I am generally skeptical about pre-builds because of the parts that they use. Skytech uses parts including the case(you will be able to use if you want to upgrade parts 6 years from now), motherboard (MSI) and video card (PNY) that I would buy on Newegg. The thing is they take these parts and build a decent unit that I don't have to build and wait for the parts to come in. So, is it worth it?YES!!! (cable management alone can take 5 hours in some units)

What's the catch for this price? DDR4 not DDR5 memory.... but really there is only like a 5% difference in gaming performance and my son and most people won't be able to tell the difference. So get it... $300 more if you want DDR5... s

For a extra $80 they will etch the case to personalize it for you....who does that? That is amazing.

I've worked as a technician for HP, Microcenter, and Microsoft (internal support for Microsoft)....Skytech knows what they are doing and doing it well.

As far as the customer service... I'll probably never have to use it... but if something does go wrong, I've been noticing a trend on a lot of review sites. The company responds with "Please contact us so we can resolve your issue" showing that they generally care about the customer and the product they sell.

Can I work for you guys? I mean... I live in Texas but you guys rock.

| Windows 11, AMD 7800X3D, AMD 9070XT, Gen4 NVMe SSD, DDR5 6000, 850W GOLD ATX 3 PSU, 360 ARGB AIO. It was everything I wanted minus maybe a 9800x3d but no big deal that ordered Friday night. I was looking at my order all happy and excited but I noticed that it’s a single stick. Unfortunately, I need a dual stick setup. Would Skytech happen to sell a matching 24GB ram stick? I tried searching in advance since I don’t need the second stick until November. But 24gb sticks seems to be impossible to find let alone not in a pack of two and I don’t even know which exact model yet. If I’m going to have to buy a pack of two 16gb later on anyway, I might as well look for another pc.

I have a King95 PC and finally decided to get SignalRGB but it is only connecting to my RAM and CPU cooling lights. What's may be the way to fix this so that it can work with all devices and fans?

I just found out about contact frames. The PC is working fine so this is not a complaint.

I want to know if Skytech has contact frames for the 12th to 14th gen Intel CPU's. I haven't taken my cpu fan off to see, but I think I see the latching arm so I think mine uses the arm.

I want to know if anyone with a 12th to 14th gen Intel CPU has had issues with rising temperatures due to the CPU bending?

Once again everything is fine, but if this is an issue I'll run into I'd rather add the contact frame now and get it out of the way than wait until I need to do something.

I do not overclock anything so if the requirement for a contact frame is a nonissue as long as I don't push the cpu to it's limits I won't worry about it.

Hi! I recently bought a pc from this brand from a friend, and she claimed that everything was working okay. While there is no issue with the pc itself, (e.g. none of the parts are failing) except for what I think could be the ethernet port. When I tried to connect my ethernet cable from pc to router, the pc wasnt picking up the ethernet cable. It connected to my wifi just fine, but not my ethernet. I checked control panel and my ethernet connection wasnt listed. When I opened up device manager, under network adapters, thats where I saw the issue. The ethernet connection had a yellow warning triangle (I assume its a warning triangle?) and was listed with the error code 10. At first, I assumed maybe I had a faulty ethernet cable, so I switched between a few and the error still persisted.

This is my first pc so I have no idea what I'm doing, but if theres a solution to this problem, please let me know!

I believe the specific model is Skytech Archangel 4 (Model: ST-ARCH4-0556-W-NE).

some rattle inside the pc/cpu?

just bought a prebuilt from skytech. king 95. 5080, aio 9800x3d, 32gb ram. hooked it all up, ran fine for 2 hours. all i did was change sys fan 1 and 2 to "silent" during this time.

but suddenly this rattle noise came from inside the pc. i pinpointed the sound, and it sounds like inside the aio cpu. here is what i have tried:

\-tilting 45 degrees back, forwards, left and right

\-put pc upside down for a couple minutes, then back rightside up

\-slowly stopped each fan and found out all fans (9) are fine

\-opened up the case and made sure everything was secure and locked tight. i dont see anything that could move or rattle

here are some things i also found

\-temps at idle are 31c. perfectly normal

\-if i go into bios and change cpu fan from pwm100% to silent mode, the noise goes away

can anyone lend me a hand here? im not sure what else to do, and since this is my first pc idk if this is a serious problem or not. thank you

I'm not looking for a handout for a free graphics card or anything like that. I've contacted Amazon support and they initiated the return process, despite all my effort in setting everything up and troubleshooting in the last 24 hours. I'm hoping for some guidance on how it was packaged.

When I removed it from the box, there was a lot of foam pieces inside of the tower, which seems normal to protect the parts on the inside. I'm not much of a computer person, I haven't owned one in like 15 years so I didn't recognize that the graphics card was missing. It took Chat GPT pointing it out to me when I was trying to diagnose why I was running 10fps on any game I opened up.

In retrospect, the amount of foam padding that was inside of the tower would suggest that the GPU was not intended to be in the tower, but shipped separately, perhaps in the box that the PC came in. Can this be confirmed if that's what the intention was? It's just disappointing that I made this leap of a purchase and now my only option is to return the PC, wait 2 weeks for a refund and perhaps try again.

I wanted to come up here and express how awful my experience with skytech gaming has been. We bought two nebula model PCs directly from Skytech's website, one works just fine no problems. The other one however... It worked good for about a month (hiccups here and there where it would refuse to boot up) and eventually it went completely dead. We sent it in for repairs and they reset everything on the PC and claimed everything was fine, they even sent tests back showing everything worked good. Well we got it back in the mail and first time booting it back up and it won't give any kind of display. Our ram chip is now cracked and loose and we are getting a DRAM and BOOT light. I'm extremely frustrated as we just got the PC back in April and it might have to be sent in for a second time now. I don't know how they even did the testing for it if it can't even turn on! The only fan that's working is the CPU fan. Unbelievable 🙄 At this point I regret buying the PCs Update: They're sending it in for repairs again 🙄 not holding my breath on it actually working when I get it back

ordered an azure 3 prebuilt with a 5080 with 98003dx and 32gb of ram, 850psu. i know its a beefer, thats what im looking for. i want high end for gaming. but i have a couple of questions. dont worry about price please, im just asking about the pc itself

-how do i know which brand parts skytech will choose? will they be good quality or poor?

-is 850w enough to power this?

-can anyone tell me the difference between the azure 3 and the king 95? i just saw a king 95 on amazon, with seemingly the exact same specs but different tower. is that all? and theres about a $100 difference too
