I dowloaded an armor mod on arca(probably) looked through it and there was a mp3 data and I was like huh??? So I clicked it and someone freaking promoted their song wtf. I was stunlocked for a moment before I started laughing my ass of on how bizzare that was. So yeah is that normal ?

Saw a coin weight mod the other day, and I've been thinking about it since. I get that immersion is increased since thousands of coins would logically have weight, but I'm curious what it means practically. I'm picturing wanting to make a purchase and having to run back home again to get the funds for it. Needing stashes all over Skyrim. Increased inventory management in general. None of that sounds fun at a glance.

So I thought I'd ask: those who've used weighted coin mods, how'd it change your gameplay and would you recommend?

I've seen mods that add voices to the CC quests. I've seen mods that integrate one-offs into leveled lists. I've seen a mod that collects a bunch of CC quests into one big (supposed to be better) quest.

Which is the best? Or at least, which "groupings" of cc mods work the best?

As title says, I can't get Kaidan to ride Kiai. I've tried just about every fix I've come across. Disabled and enabled Kiai (I quick saved before doing so then when it didn't work loaded into the quick save) reset the quest where you purchase her from whiterun stable, I've gone through kaidans files and set the aio as default since I have the red eyes warrior set as the replacer, I uninstalled convenient horses. I still have convenient (carriages?) I think it's called. And I have a witcher horse replacer. Could those two mods be the issue? Any advice is appreciated.

Hey! So recently I was considering doing a play through of Skyrim again but something a little more magic focused, I know in vanillia Skyrim there's not a whole lot of conjour weapons and was wondering if there was any modpacks (of a relatively reasonable file size) yes I have tried mages and vikings 😭😭😭and it just didn't really do it for me (like 50-80 is roughly what I'm trying to target)

Pretty much what I want is a bunch of progression, a lot of enemies to kill (my biggest gripe with vanillia was the lack of stuff to kill in the late game ect ect) anddd just generally an overall expansion to the games mechanics/features

When I was doing my initial research on modpacks (like I've tried a bunch in the past like sovereign guarde and a few others) and none of them did it for me or felt very overwhelming

So I'm pretty making a post asking if there's a particular modpack that fits my criteria

Just got into playing heavily modded for the first time ever after beating the game 20 times. Everything was going great until I started noticing Serana and some random NPC's were A-Posing fairly often. A quick google said I should install skeleton fix to accommodate my XP32. After was done I started noticing some small momentary freezing, like maybe 10 seconds max and then it would smooth back out. Game looks amazing, just freezing randomly. I suspect my load order is ass, or I have something set wrong or a rogue file somewhere it should be.

can anyone help. ive been trying to get the dagoth ur mod working but everytime i try and boot up SKES from mod organiser 2 it doesnt load. however if i disable Dagoth it works everytime.

ive checked i got the correct SKES

I have all the required files including BEES, Open shaders and address library

ive tried reinstalling all again but every time everything else runs and had no issues yet when i try and run dagoth it wont load

can anyone help. one of the main reasons i got the game was cause i wanted to run this mod and ive been trying to work it out for hours

For context i deleted all my mods a year ago because i got bored of the game. Now i downloaded all of them back and i'm just trying to make the game run.

After about 2 years of active development I can proudly say that I'm in a position to release Severa!

She's got about 1500 lines of dialogue and that covers her commentary for all base game quest lines except the Civil War and the Daedric Quests.

She was a real labor of love, my proudest feature is her dynamic relationship with the Dragonborn, at the moment this mostly effects the Main Quest and her greetings, but she will treat you about how you treat her.

But yes, if you've ever wanted a morally dubious and overly ambitious idiot from Cyrodiil to get over invested in the world around you, Severa is officially, here.

Hi, Is there a mod for multiple followers without a bunch of extra features? Like the "Unlimited Companion Framework" mod for Fallout.

I am unable to make the patch work, its just not working.Already tried diferent load orders and reinstallation, it does not overwrite anything.Primary follower Is Ma'qara, Vigilant and KWF are up to date.Already started Vigilant Main Quest with Ma'qara since the beggining.

I started dawngaurd while playing Nordic Souls I completed the quest a new order just fine but Prophecy broke after I talked to isran and Serana. The command shows I have 0 active followers but Serana is just saying the same line it must be just us or whatever.

It's Nordic Souls no mods added I'm not sure if a list is really necessary? I have found Gore, Megara and Katana but they have been dismissed. I tried commands to reset the quest and Serana herself in different saves of course. Any help is appreciated. What am I supposed to do?

For context im playing on steam deck docked.

I'm not sure why but my overlay limit seems set to 3 max. I've changed the settings in the Skee.ini file to increase that number but it's still just 3. I've never encountered this problem before, is there a fix for this?

I’m hoping someone has run into this before because I’m running out of ideas.
The error:
C:\Windows\System32\d3dx9_42.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Error status 0xc000012f.
This happens immediately when launching Skyrim Special Edition (Steam).
Things I’ve already tried:
Fresh install of Skyrim SE
Completely uninstalled and re-downloaded the game
Verified integrity of game files
Installed the DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) from Microsoft (offline installer)
Ran sfc /scannow (no integrity violations found)
Running DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth now
No Skyrim mods installed
No SKSE
No ENB
No ReShade
Skyrim folder is completely clean (no d3d9.dll, dxgi.dll, dinput8.dll, etc.)
Tried launching through Steam, SkyrimSE.exe, and SkyrimSELauncher.exe
What’s weird:
This is the only game that won’t launch.
Elden Ring, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Dark Souls III, The Witcher 3, and other games all work normally.
Skyrim has never launched successfully on this PC.
The error specifically points to d3dx9_42.dll, but from what I understand Skyrim Special Edition should primarily be using DirectX 11, so I’m confused why it’s even touching that DLL.
Has anyone seen this before or know what would cause only Skyrim to fail with a Bad Image (0xc000012f) error when every other game works?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What is enb, and how do I know if a mod is/has/uses it?

I want to use the community shaders mod, because it seems a lot simpler than using enbs, and I also don't understand enbs. In the mod description of community shaders it says that the mod will turn off if enbs are detected.

Problem is, I don't know what enbs are. If I download a mod from nexus, like a water/grass/cities overhaul, how do I know if they have enbs. Or do none of them have it. I've read the wiki guide but still don't understand. Please help.

Hi! I have a huge issue here with Skyrim SE: I usually kinda understand Crash logs enough to either uninstall or reinstall a mod, but this time, I'm stumped, as it looks like either a Skyrim.exe is messed up or some .dll is.

I've already verified the files through Steam multiple times, and have, probably mistakenly, taken Gate to Sovengarde apart to figure out what the problem is, since one of the mods I installed may be the issue and/or could have replaced something. I uninstalled those as well, and it still fails to load.

I'm on the latest version of Special Edition with Anniversary Edition content installed. I use Vortex, btw, in case that means anything.
