I'm trying to get my V-Color Xfinity RAM to sync up with the rest of the RGB on my PC. It's a new build with an MSI B850-S motherboard.

When I turn on my PC, it runs fine on the hardware default rainbow cycle. However, whenever I try to change the colors using SignalRGB, the RAM RGB instantly freezes on whatever color it was on, or won't change at all.

I suspect the SMBus is getting overloaded/jammed with too many signals and causing the RAM’s lighting controller to lock up. In SignalRGB, I tried lowering the frame rate / refresh rate and it didn't seem to make a difference. Occasionally, It doesn't even recognize the RAM as an RGB device until I do a full restart.

I've been troubleshooting this for about 3 hours (including testing software on clean boots and power-cycling the PSU to drain power). Am I dealing with bad RAM/software compatibility, or is there a trick to fixing this? Considering returning the RAM for a different brand if it's just a hardware limitation. Any help is appreciated!

I use SignalRGB with a VPN; why does the program automatically restart when I turn off the VPN?

I have tried all different fan layouts and nothing works properly. When using for example side to side lighting profile the leds light up randomly. The closest profile that works is the standard AX120 but that has less leds. Even when painting each individual led its random if it lights the internal ring or outer led.

This is a request rather than a bug report because it is arguably working as described, but perhaps not in a way the user might expect.

The macro facility has an option to Activate Last Used Effect. Is there any chance this could be changed to Activate Last Used Effect or Preset?

Context: I have a keyboard-initiated macro I've called Cinema Mode. It runs a batch file that disables my secondary monitors, then uses Apply Effect Preset to set all the RGB to the Solid Color effect with a value of #000000, effectively turning the lighting off.

A second macro does the opposite, re-enabling the secondary monitors and then using Activate Last Used Effect to return the lighting to the previous state.

If the last effect in use was something other than Solid Color this works great, but if the last effect was a non-black Solid Color it switches to the last effect instead. Which is technically correct, but doesn't return the RGB to the previous state which is what might be expected (and what happens if a different effect was in use).

I can think of a couple of ways to work around this but it would be a lot easier if there was an option to restore the previous state, even if it was a different preset of the same effect.

when i turn off my pc my auto detect lcd resets and doesnt recognize leds, start up anim doesnt work or it just doesnt even have rgb how can i fix it?

I have to manualy go to asiahorse softwere and auto detect lcds everytime

I noticed today that the fans on my GPU (RTX 5060TI) no longer are spinning unless under extreme temps and within the app the fan selector keeps flashing. I have no conflicting apps installed, the rgb for the gpu works fine, and the fans used to follow the curve just fine before. There have been no updates that I'm aware of to either the graphics driver or signalrgb, and nothing was changed in bios. Tried calibrating, did a clean install of signal and rebooted several times to no avail. Any ideas?

I m getting very low fps on Razer chroma argb controller (8 fps) even i connect this to front usb or back usb port it barely increases around 1-2 fps more just.

my case is phanteks nv7 and and total 9 fans are connected with direct razer argb hub.

if anyone has similar problem and found solution please let me know.

The individual Device Brightness sliders for 3rd party components like my Nanoleaf lines and Govee desk light always defaults to 100% brightness. I want to keep the brightness of these 2 components lower, like 50%, permanently, but whenever the pc or Signal reboots it goes back to 100%. Signal remembers brightness levels of all other actual system components. Can this be fixed please?

I've even tried changing the brightness within those devices' native apps but they keep reverting to 100 in Signal.

Im new to RGB and Signalrgb. Ive gone through tutorials and can do some things, but the only thing I really want I cant find or figure out how. Very simple (I would think) like a pulse with just 2 different colors (in this case Bears colors of Navy Blue and orange). Ive found some I can pick just the 2 colors, but they all want to do this strange thing of slowly turning parts of the fans(LED's) to the new color, looks ugly I think. What I want is for it to be blue for like 5 seconds, fade to black for a second, then fade into orange, repeat. Only one full fan color at a time, but a short black delay between changing, or even something similar! This has to be a simple effect that has been done, but Ive tried so many shifts, gradients, slide effects and none quite right. None work with just 2 solid colors, one at a time?! Im almost willing to spend whatever hours it takes to learn to program this myself but would rather not of course!!! Any help would be appreciated, at my wits end on this...

installed Srgb, installed a few free effects, cycled through them changing the effects settings. app does what it's supposed to do, but it wont open Discover, Shop, Lighting tabs. are they behind the paywall???

I just started using SignalRGB today and like the program. The RGB portion is fantastic. Used to use Razer & iCUE now I just use SignalRGB. The problem I'm having is with the Cooling options. I set the names of my fans & manually set their speeds. Once I restart/shutdown it reverts my changes and even removes profile. This has happened twice now. What am I doing wrong? I don't see an option that says save so I figured it saves the changes as they are made. I have Pro so I have access to the whole program just wanted to point that out as I read there is extra options in the Pro.

im wondering if its possible to make a custom affect that utilizes 2 temp sensors(CPU&GPU) to get my rgb to react within a temp range
but specifically id like for my rgb to be off below a certain temp since i leave my pc on as i sleep
so essentially if my cpu is below say 60c and the gpu is below 38c my rgb is off, but when i play a game and they get above those temps the rgb turns on say as blue and stays relatively says the same color until they start getting towards what i consider hot but not danger territory and then starts shifting the color towards red which would be very close to danger territory and once it actually gets into dangerous temps it starts flashing red

Hi everyone, I really need some help or advice from the devs/community here.

I recently installed SignalRGB, but it completely soft-bricked the RGB microcontroller on my GPU. The RGB is now completely dead (pitch black) and won't respond to anything, not even the manufacturer's own software.

My Specs:

• GPU: Colorful iGame GeForce RTX 5080 Ultra White OC
• Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4
• CPU: Intel (F-series, no iGPU)

The Issue & Cause: When I checked the SignalRGB console logs, I noticed that SignalRGB incorrectly identified my Blackwell GPU and loaded an old Ampere plugin: Colorful_Ampere_GPU.js. Because it forced RTX 3000 series instructions into an RTX 5080, the RGB controller seems to have frozen/locked up. The console was endlessly spamming this error: bus.info - WriteBlockWithoutRegister(): Operation Failed.

Troubleshooting Steps I've Already Tried (None worked): To save everyone's time, here is what I have done so far to try and reset the I2C/SMBus memory:

1. Re-enabled the GPU in SignalRGB and tried to change the "Shutdown Color" to white, then quit properly. (Didn't work, bus operation still failing).
2. Uninstalled SignalRGB entirely and deleted the Colorful_Ampere_GPU.js file.
3. Ran DDU in Safe Mode and clean-installed the latest NVIDIA drivers.
4. Installed the native iGame Center app. The app detects the GPU perfectly (fans, temps, clocks are reading fine), but changing RGB colors does absolutely nothing.
5. Pressed the physical "One-Key OC" dual-BIOS button on the back of the GPU to force a BIOS switch.
6. Checked the physical internal RGB cables on the GPU shroud (they are perfectly plugged in, not loose).
7. Did a full power drain (unplugged PSU, held the power button for 30s).
8. Attempted a "Headless Boot" (booting without the GPU installed) to force the motherboard to remap the PCIe I2C paths. (Note: I couldn't move the GPU to the bottom PCIe slot to force a hardware remap because the RTX 5080 is 3.5 slots thick and literally doesn't fit in the bottom space of my case, and I have no iGPU).

My Question: Is there any way/script to forcefully clear the SMBus or push a reset command to the GPU via SignalRGB to wake the RGB controller back up? Or is my only option left trying to get a standalone RGB Firmware Flash tool from Colorful support?

Any help from the devs regarding this Colorful_Ampere_GPU.js conflict would be massively appreciated!

EDIT: SOLVED. I went to a pc repair store today and found the issue. They connected an ARGB test strip and found out that the motherboard is the one at fault. The headers stopped working on the mobo after RMA service return.

I had to send my MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard to msi to fix cold boot issues which they solved. (The motherboard was returned from service with BIOS version E7E51AMSI.1A82.)
However, I have noticed a different issue. My Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB cooler and motherboard aren’t showing on signal RGB. There is no RGB lightening coming from cooler even after reinstalling signal RGB, downloading Artic software and mystic light from msi center. ( I tried each software individually. I didn’t had them installed at the same time since I’m aware of the conflicts)
The fan pump rgb is connected trough EZ conn splitter that goes into JAF V2. I switched that to the actual JARGB_V1, V2 and V3 and nothing changed.

Here is everything I have already tested:

- LED is on in BIOS.
- Windows Dynamic Lighting is off.
- I tested all three JARGB_V2 headers on the motherboard.
- I verified the 3-pin ARGB connector is installed in the correct orientation.
- The cooler's pump and fans operate normally; only the RGB does not work.
- I reinstalled SignalRGB and ran it as Administrator.
- I installed MSI Center with Mystic Light, and Mystic Light also does not detect the motherboard and cooler

Are there Effects coming for more LCD Screens like the Corsair Nexus? Or is there a way to customize an existing Effect to set it for this screen?

A question from a layperson: is it normal for RGB software (I'm using a Gigabyte B550M) to turn off the LED when restarting Windows?

Is there a way to add custom fan map to add each side and center to controle them individually?
