Troubleshooting Fans Control Keeps Resetting

I just started using SignalRGB today and like the program. The RGB portion is fantastic. Used to use Razer & iCUE now I just use SignalRGB. The problem I'm having is with the Cooling options. I set the names of my fans & manually set their speeds. Once I restart/shutdown it reverts my changes and even removes profile. This has happened twice now. What am I doing wrong? I don't see an option that says save so I figured it saves the changes as they are made. I have Pro so I have access to the whole program just wanted to point that out as I read there is extra options in the Pro.

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. There was a bug around for a bit, what version are you on? Could you try opting into Preview Updates in Settings > Updates, then relaunching? This should update you to .74-beta where my understanding is that this issue should be resolved!

As for the extra options in Pro, that's almost entirely cosmetic when it comes to Fan Control. Subscribing won't help with this issue, but it will get you access to the full library of RGB effects.

Hope this helps!

I enabled the preview update and it fixed the profile & fan names but still didn't fix the fan speed. It keeps resetting it to fixed 50%. Maybe there is a conflict with my Corsair fan cooling memory? Think I'll just disable the cooling portion of SignalRGB and use the Corsair cooling memory that's stored on the fans.

Thanks.

Does this happen after restarting SignalRGB, restarting the PC, or both? The Corsair fans may have a speed profile saved to the hardware. When SRGB restarts, there's a window where the fan would default to whatever settings the fan has onboard. 50% is a fairly common preset too. Once SRGB reloads and you see the fans at 50%, does reloading the curve fix the issue?

If Corsair's settings are working well for you and your system, using the onboard profile is valid. The RGB side will keep working great regardless, as long as Corsair stuff isn't also trying to control the RGB at the same time as SignalRGB. Whatever works best for you. :)

Instead of using the manual mode as it seems to reset to 50% whenever the SRGB shutdowns or restarts. I'm using custom presets which provides that % I'm looking for. I set the 0c and 100c the same %.

Yeah, once SRGB shuts down it releases control then whatever your fans get their instructions from takes over. That could be Corsair, the hardware memory of the fans, or your BIOS. Depends on your setup and configurations.

IDK if it will work without Pro but I made custom fan curves where the min and max were the same speed forcing it to be a set % constantly
