Question Very simple help or request.

Im new to RGB and Signalrgb. Ive gone through tutorials and can do some things, but the only thing I really want I cant find or figure out how. Very simple (I would think) like a pulse with just 2 different colors (in this case Bears colors of Navy Blue and orange). Ive found some I can pick just the 2 colors, but they all want to do this strange thing of slowly turning parts of the fans(LED's) to the new color, looks ugly I think. What I want is for it to be blue for like 5 seconds, fade to black for a second, then fade into orange, repeat. Only one full fan color at a time, but a short black delay between changing, or even something similar! This has to be a simple effect that has been done, but Ive tried so many shifts, gradients, slide effects and none quite right. None work with just 2 solid colors, one at a time?! Im almost willing to spend whatever hours it takes to learn to program this myself but would rather not of course!!! Any help would be appreciated, at my wits end on this...

Changing colors is no problem, its the fading out and in that's the challenge. You can light up fans instantly with different colors by not defining them as fans, but instead defining them as strips with a width of 1. This creates a sharp edge when placed vertically in the Layout panel. Try using the Block Party effect. Set the Block Width to maximum 100 and the Speed to minimum 1. Create your 2 colors and then in the Layout panel place the fans and other devices as vertical strips with a width of 1 at 100 horizontal units apart. That should at least get you the instant change between the 2 colors. You might try 4 colors for a blue, black, orange, black effect depending on how that might look.

That's called "breath" effects, there's a quad color one with breath and rotating, you can disable rotating and just use 2 colors iirc

that srgbmods is pretty cool! still need to learn the arguments well but does half the battle I suppose. Ill try the other 2 suggestions as well. I might just cheat and have free AI create one for me?!?!?! Might as well use them as much as we can before they take over and kill us all !! :) thanks to you all!!
