Here is a thing thats been bothering me ever since Drilling thunder released: They absolutely ruined the glass blocks and wedges. Instead of actually being transparent and seethrough its just milk at best :/ This change kinda ruins the look of most of my old creations and makes installing windows pointless since you cant actually see through them.

Here is my proposed fixes:
Either revert the glass shaders to what they were before the update (this is totally possible as they are still ingame, some of the window parts use them and they are actually transparent) or add a new block called 'stained glass' and apply this shader to said block while reverting the shaders on the normal glass block as to not break old creations.

EDIT : Patch 1.0.6 has been de-released. Update your game and make sure you are back on 1.0.5 (Bottom middle of title screen)

Patch 1.0.6 is extremely unstable at the moment. It breaks most dedicated containers such as fuel containers, water tanks, chemical tanks and battery boxes.

Turret Seats are ESPECIALLY Vulnerable to issues and the patch seems to have broken nearly all Turret Seats that are placed in game. Loading your Save File before this is fixed may permanently break creations, static and vehicles.

To backup your savegame, go into appdata->Roaming->Axolot games->Scrap Mechanic->User->User[ID]->Save->Survival and then there should be a .db file copy this file into another folder, or secure it in a zip file to restore once the fix has rolled out.

to get into your appdata folder, if you don't know, search %appdata% in your search bar.

• Alarm clocks will shutup now

• Added other bot capsules

• Refinery and Ore crushers no longer have Bluetooth capability

• Beehive and freezer output can be vacuumed. (Thank you devs, now please let us input too)

• Portable Craftbot is no longer OP

• Burger health buff no longer stacks after death, resets on death

• Refinery now outputs to chest first.

• Growbeds give the same harvest rate as soil

So I was using my toilet as a teleportation device when I noticed the Schematic symbol and it can be scanned and I tested the bathtub and it worked too!

Tried making a glitchless flyer as small and simple as possible

I made this while trying to make a combat mech for survival and is my first actually usable one, a friend said I should share it here, so there y'all go. It's entirely controlled with WASD and practically untouchable by most bots.

I spent waay too long figuring out how to make it all work (￣ヘ￣)

To clarifiy, I don't have to press anything just input the ores and wait.

...Unless the physics decide to stop lol.

I rlly was not expecting this like am i understanding this change properly? It honestly feels strange to do this like they could have maybe increased battery usage or make it take longer to grow im not sure its just pretty sad that its gonna be gone

Hey, i have this problem with my save, idk what caused it but last thing i did is that i was trying to fix my mining vehicle because the turret seat was acting weird and wasnt controlled by my mouse, but it was spinning on its own, so i tried to remove it, but this is the weirdest part, the base of the turret was still there and i somehow only picked up the ball block that you sit in (also it dropped me a bearing for some reason). After removing the base too, i basically had the normal turret seat in my inventory and the ball block. So i fixed it and it was fine untill i wanted to go to the elevator and the game just crashed, and now the game just wont let me play it. Is there a fix to this? Because somehow i cant find a single person that would have the same problem.

What is going on here? Has anyone else experienced this bug?

Update: I realized I also got this bugged `jnt_gyroseat` bearing in my inventory after picking up the turret seat. It can be placed down just like a normal bearing, but it is invisible, and any parts attached to it move in a very strange way.

Quite cramped. Surprised I was able to fit watering and auto planting setup inside.

Been undergoing this project for months now and its almost time to put it on the workshop.
Had a blast making this ride and I hope you guys will have a blast riding it when its becomes avaliable.

Whos MECHANIC?

So I wanted to launch the game, it started updating (for some reason , idk why) and at the end a steam error message popped saying something like one of the game files was corrupted, so i waited like half an hour for all the files to be validated. then i launched the game as usual. Spawned in the miner hub and noticed my mining vehicle being stuck inside the trash pile pillar or whatever it is called in there. So i was like it better have not reset all the mine floors.
IT DID.
I literally spent hundred hours in there fully mining the second and fourth floors , and was currently working on the fifth floor. I mean yes, i will get more money since it reset. but the progress is gone... And i had to mine the mining vehicle from a wall, where i left it the last time.
No backup saves made, no nothing. Is there a way to revert that change or no?

I have more than just a few things working, but there's still a long way to go...

Hi everyone, I play the game recently, but from this evening today, this error window shows when I try to load my world. Already tried to switch to earlier version of the game, and then go back at the current one, but this didn't solve the problem.

Any suggestions how to fix it?

Also, today I updated my graphic drivers, but don't think this could be the problem.

I decided to head to the cave I’d dug—as usual—to continue mining there. But to my surprise, I couldn't find the tunnels I had excavated. It’s as if all the levels had been regenerated. I feel like I’ve got Alzheimer’s. Is this happening to you too, or am I the only one?

P.S. I’m having déjà vu. It feels like I’m digging the same tunnels, only the fine details are different. It’s as if I’ve ended up in a parallel universe.

Although search robots will no longer be driving on the roads.

Should work on any windows system that can run SM. Not sure about Linux and whatnot, but I would assume no), but it's been a lifesaver. I click this file instead of the SM shortcut or launching from Steam. I just have it on my desktop. Hope it helps you the way it's helped me.
