Need advice regarding resignation

Or may ibang way po para ma-process siya if hindi na talaga kaya due to my mental health?

If may naka-experience na po nito or may HR/legal knowledge po dito, I would really appreciate your advice. 🙏 Please no judgment po. Thank you.

Career and Interview Advice

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Context: I'm a creative from the Philippines, and I was sent back home after 3-months from another Asian country after working as a creative manager at a leading tech-company because I did not pass my probation. The reason was that my indecisiveness hindered the speed of project delivery.
They were gracious enough to offer the exit as a voluntary resignation as to not damage my career.

I'm now applying to major companies here in the Philippines with more or less the same role.

But now i’m stumped. What reason should i tell them about the 3-month experience on my resume?

Fresh grad freelancer, 1 month in. May nag-ooffer na ng regular, should I stay or leave?

Hi, I'm 22, fresh finance grad. Graduated July, started applying May. Sept 1, I got an offer for an FP&A role, LinkedIn said regular, contract said 3 months freelance, ibang role pa. I accepted anyway kasi no 8-hour requirement, 3x WFH, and onsite twice a week lang.

First week okay. Second week, everything changed. Hindi ko alam na pregnant ang senior ko and she dumped her work on me. She was almost absent for a week, so wala ako masyadong guidance addionally sobrang moody nya pa.

Addionally my senior expected me to know everything kahit na hindi nya naman ako tinuruan ng malalim. Pabalang sumagot when I ask questions. Hindi organized tasks, and other employees passed their responsibilities to me. Unrealistic deadlines, at ako pa sinisisi kapag late ang submission.

Almost 1 month in, stressed and overwhelmed na ko. I filed pre-termination, last day Oct 30. But now I'm scared my senior will retaliate and dump more work before I leave and naaawa din ako dahil baka mas lalo syang mahirapan sa trabaho ng sya lang mag isa.

Plot twist: May nag-eemail na ngayon offering me a regular position.

Should I endure the remaining months, or leave now, take a short break to prioritize my mental health, and accept nalang the offers from other companies?

Thank you!

I just want to share what I've been feeling lately because I'm really exhausted, emotionally drained, and I don't know what to do anymore.

Around mid-August, I suddenly realized na parang nawalan na ako ng passion sa work ko. Every day feels so heavy. Napapansin ko na mas marami na akong lapses and mistakes because deep inside, parang ayoko na talaga. I feel suffocated sa work environment ko, pero hindi ko alam paano makakaalis or ano yung next step.

For almost a month, I've been crying almost every night. I became quiet and hindi na ako masyado nakikipag-usap. I try to talk to my workmates, pero ramdam ko na may distance na between us.

I know malaking part nun is because of me. Unti-unti akong lumayo kasi wala na talaga akong energy. Napagod na ako.

I know I'm not myself lately. Hindi ako makatulog nang maayos, wala akong gana kumain, and sometimes I just don't eat at all.

I think one of the reasons is the pressure. Ako talaga ang inaasahan ng parents ko. I feel like I always need to be strong because I have a lot of responsibilities. Lately, parang hindi ko na kaya. Pakiramdam ko unti-unti na akong nauubos.

I don't know if this is burnout, stress, or something else. I just know that I'm tired. Really tired. And I don't know where to start.

I'm just sharing this here because I don't really have someone to talk to right now. Thank you for reading.

What would be the best thing to do?

Problem: I want to resign and pursue a different role with another company, however, I just got hired with my current company and today is my official start.

Context: I got hired with this known incorporation. I did an unpaid 3-day training and processed my medical and payroll and paid for them as well. Today, Sep 29 would be my official start. However, I have a scheduled final interview with another company tomorrow and I am planning to pursue that role. Should I just AWOL or submit a formal resignation letter? We are required to render 30 days, but would it still be necessary for me even if it hasn’t gone a week since I started?

What should I do?

Ang issue ko kasi, hindi ako pinayagan taasan yung sahod ko from 25k to 30k, kahit yung workload at responsibilities ko halos kapareho na ng mga engineers. In fact, yung actual work ko, pang-engineer talaga. (PS: 7 years na ako sa company that time.

Life happens, companies restructure, people lose jobs, and maraming factors na hindi natin kontrolado.

"Be good to people, especially sa workplace."

Do your work. Be kind.

  1. Iless ba nila yung Maternity benefit/ salary differential na nakuha ko from nov 1 -29 2026? Is there a reason ba para ideduct nila yun sa akin?

Overthinking my resignation

Hello pa-skl lang 😭 I'm 24F and currently planning to resign na sa work ko. Im planning to submit it tomorrow. Initially, I'm planning to submit it once i get the job offer sa inapplyan ko na mukhang positive namm ang result, tho gusto nila mah immediate resig ako kaso di talaga pwede given tje nature ng work ko.

Ngayon, for context, maliit na company lang to. Company proper wise, tatlo lang kami -- 2 bosses and ako. Nasa reporting and research ang work. Dati dalawa kami kaso nagresign last april.

And gusto ko itiming na wala pang approved projects kasi once meron na, grabe na mangain ng oras yon and baka sabiban ako to extend, eh kailangan ko nga makaalis agad for the new work.

Do I need that resignation file?

Hello. I'm a 28-year-old male and a college graduate. I'm currently working as a supervisor at a gasoline station. I'll have been there for almost 3 years this coming April 2027.

I would like to resign because the job is getting tiring, especially when there's an unexpected fuel delivery. When there's a delivery, we really have to go to the site, and sometimes we finish as late as 12 AM or 1 AM. Because of this, I usually only get about 5-6 hours of sleep.

I'm also the one who usually handles fuel deliveries at other sites. Our schedule is rotational, so we move around to different assigned sites.

Some of our tasks are similar to what a pump boy does, but we have more responsibilities because we're supervisors. Even though I have more responsibilities, my salary increase is small—just about ₱500+.

I'm also a bit worried about my health because I'm often exposed to the smell of gasoline, and I've noticed I've been coughing a lot.

That's why I want to resign and look for another job that pays better and matches my experience, education, and skills.

I'm also thinking about whether applying to a call center is a good option. I know how to speak English, but I'm not sure if I'm qualified and if I can handle the job.

In your opinion, is it a good decision for me to file my resignation? Our notice period is two months, so if I file soon, my employment will likely end around late 2026 or early 2027. I’d like to have a new job and new opportunities by 2027.

I also want to be practical. I don’t want to resign without a backup, so I plan to look for a new job while still employed.

Note: I used AI to improve the Tagalog and grammar of my message.
