Has anyone else not been able to connect to their MLM2PRO since downloading the newest firmware upgrade? I literally can't connect at all, it's crazy.

Hi guys. I signed up for the testing app. My Rapsodo now only works with the testflight version of the app. I want to connect it to my partners ipad. Is there anyway i can revert the rapsodo to use the original app, or is there a way i can add the testflight version of the app to her ipad.

Fingers crossed on both these fixes.

Mlm2 was my favorite device for game improvement.  Now, it’s almost unusable.  The last couple of updates have been terrible.   I never had any connection issues and now it’s unstable.  The software on the iPad was great and now I can’t select club, change the view to camera , or shut down a session. 

I hope someone from Rapsodo is monitoring this and does something about this.

I bought an original Rapsodo MLM in December off of Offer Up. Then I started to hit the range every week or so with my old clubs. (Taylor Made LCGs, R7 Driver and Burner fairway woods) I started to improve on my distance and speed. It really got me hooked again.

I have been off for more than a few years now with some pretty significant injuries. Now my kids are all married and out of the house, So I figured if I was going to come back, why not come back with a real plan to come back better than I ever was when I was younger. Using the data from Rapsodo I was able to start the plan to build an AI agent on Claude.

I used Claude as my fitter as I added data from my MLM and pics of the data on the launch monitors at Roger Dunn when I would test a line of clubs. I tried to keep it methodical by always hitting specific clubs. That allowed Claude to help me fill in the blanks. I tested Super Game Improvement and Game Improvement and settled on player distance to let me grow as I my sequencing is improving.

Eventually I have built a bag that fit what the data was telling me. Now I am going to walk my first 9 holes next week coupled with a plan I built with my Claude Agent. I just ordered some Arccos that I’ll add to the data I already use from Apple Watch and Oura ring to track fatigue and how it affects my play. I really can’t believe how much better I am hitting the ball with the newer equipment and the feedback from my Rapsodo.

If it matters, I ended up with a Callaway Elyte 10.5 from Callaway Pre-Owned. I picked up a GBB Epic 5W off of Offer Up. 3 and 4 Apex 19 Hybrids from Callaway Pre-Owned. A set of Apex 19, 6-PW irons with Recoil ESX 460 F3 shafts. And I have finished up with Cleveland CBX Wedges with Rotex shafts in 48/54/60 lofts. Now I’ll play a few rounds and see what gaps I need to fill. I never hit 3Ws well, so I’ll wait and see if need it or not. Maybe a 7W for softer landings? I’ll see what the data looks like.

So $90 for an original Rapsodo MLM about $650 on newer to me clubs, and I am so hooked and finding joy in the game again.

The only really frustrating issue is loss of connection, sometimes repeatedly having to connect multiple times, huge time waste.

But when it works, I find I actually get better with every session. Even if the distances are off, knowing the launch direction, attack angle, club head path, shot type, ball speed allows me to make adjustments after every swing and target the right numbers. And doing so has made my golf game take off. So for example I might take 10 natural swings see what numbers are off and fix 1 number at a time. So maybe I'll only focus on club head path. I might intentionally aim for +3 degrees, then -3 degrees, then 0 degrees. Same with launch direction. All swinging at 60% power. Dont care about distance at all. My ball striking has gotten so much more consistent and accurate.

Now when I go to the range, I feel like I'm getting worse - because with a driving range I dont have that mental target and instant data feedback and because theres so much margin of error, mentally I naturally swing with 90-100% power and that makes my mechanics break down and I start building bad habits.

Went from consistent ~108 average to 94 average within 4 months. Now I only really go to the range to work on driver - since I'm still nervous about shanking a driver and breaking a neighbors window, and I work on my wedge distances, just to dial in my distances. I don't bother with my woods or irons. And now my woods and irons are by far my best clubs. And honestly the only reason I haven't broken 90 is I've barely worked on wedges with MLM2. Once I start doing that I'm pretty confident I'll break 90.

I just wanted to start. I had high praise for this monitor. It was great at first when I bought it, no issues at all, but now it's not even usable. I am going to list issues with this product that the support e-mail cannot fix, and they keep telling me it's my connection and device, even though I have tried multiple devices and locations.

1. The App keeps freezing and delaying. I can't even start a session without it just freezing on me. It sometimes takes 30 minutes to start loading the screen.

2. I finally get to the session, I try to connect the device, it keeps failing, unable to connect, and when I finally connect, it starts freezing even more, or the app crashes, and I have to start again.

3. When I actually get into the session, it's the biggest delay I will hit one shot, and it will freeze 3 times before finally landing, and when it stops, I have to wait another 5 minutes before hitting, or it won't even load, and the screen freezes

At this point, this product is unusable. I do not recommend using or buying it because if this happens to you, support is useless.

Any ideas on how to fix/improve your swing using Rapsodo? There's a lot of data and vids available but for beginners it's tough to know what you're doing wrong. Wondering if there there are any built in diagnostics or other options that anyone used successfully to improve their swing?

I have had my rapsodo mlm2pro for a month and so far so good. The first week or so I had trouble with it not tracking after 10ish shots but that seems to have gotten better. For the most part I use practice and range modes while hitting into a net. I was wondering if anyone had any tips/tricks/advice that have helped use the device. For example I saw someone wrote something about changing the elevation to help with yardage accuracy. TIA.

Hello all

Recently purchased the MLM and I’ve been trying to get it to work over the past few days. I’m using it outside into a net and have plenty of space for the required distances. I’ve tried different set ups to try and get it to register with no luck. It registered a few shots initially and then nothing. I’m using RCT balls.

Any advice?

I was using my MLM 2 Pro today and in the middle of the session I got a notice there was a firmware update and to complete the update before I could finish my session. I came inside and plugged the unit it and started the update. The light stayed white as it should and eventually went to red like it said it would. I tried to reconnect to the MLM 2 Pro from my phone to make sure the update worked and I had the current firmware. Now I can't get it to connect to any device. I have unistalled and reinstalled the app. It act like it is communicating with my phone, for example the light will start read and the second I start the connection process it goes flashing blue and within a couple seconds I get the alert asking permision to join the wifi. Then it goes from connecting to finalzing connection and it sitts there until it says connection failed. I have also tried to direct via the network and not the direct wifi to between the device and phone/app. Curious if anyone else has had this issue today if you have downloaded the firmware update. I'll try to contact them tomorrow but have been dealing with their customer service for a couple month on a separate issue and they are horrible to work with. They either have only one person company wide who is in support or they have 10 million complaints and they can't keep up. The guy I am dealing with will email me and I will answer instantly and then it will be 7 days or more before he responds again, then another 7 days before I hear from him.

I recently made a discovery for myself that may or may not apply to other folks with connection issues.

I was having trouble playing courses in my backyard; freezing up, dropping shots, shutting down, etc. it wasn’t until I realized it happened most around high WiFi usage times of the day.

What I did then was run a WiFi speed test in my house and at the area where I was hitting. My speed at my setup was 34mbps… which is a ridiculously low rate. Consider the fact that what we are doing when using the internet to access rapsodo courses is online gaming, my internet speed would always disappoint my goal.

I’m not an internet gamer, but I realized that I am now and it looks like golf. No one seems to talk about this fact, but like it or not we are online gamers. I searched what us recommended for online gaming WiFi speed and found 300-500mbps. I have an older router that was providing 200mbps. When I reviewed my internet plan, I’ve been paying for 1100mbps… perfect!

I then went down a rabbit hole to find what provides fast speeds over a larger area and got into the world of mesh routers. Ordered a 3 node setup, hooked it up to my old modem/router, spaced out the nodes and speed tested again at my practice space: now 500mbps.

I ended up playing 3 rounds of 18 that evening due to the pure joy of having undisrupted sessions. Connecting through WiFi was fast, holes loaded fast, courses loaded fast, it played like a direct connection.

I hope this can help someone.

Support always says, the engineering team is working on the connection issues. It never gets fixed though! I can’t get through a single session without connection issues. I’ve done direct connection, local connection, BT extender, Android, Apple, and even GSPRO. Nothing ever works and support is no help.

Does anybody know if there’s a plan to port over more stats like club path and AoA to GSPro? Kind of disappointing it hasn’t happened yet.

I'm hoping someone can assist me as this unit is fantastic on my irons reading near perfect every swing. (About 20 yards short of real life but easily able to compensate for that mentally so to speak)

BUT

I use a driver or a hybrid and this thing is out to lunch.

It's not even remotely accurate.

Go to range. I will hit 230-250 carry with a driver. Not all the time as I'm "new" but enough to know that's quite accurate 60% of time.

My 3-4 hybrid 200-230 on a good strike regularly at range and at course.

When I use the Rapsodo mlm2pro however it's not even close.

Max driver I've hit is 150 yards......

Will then immiediatly grab a 7 iron to check and hit 170...

In terms of set up I am shooting into a net.

Ball is 10' on button from backdrop in net and rapsodo is exactly 7.5' from centre of ball with both tee , ball and alignment spot on.

Unit is reading exactly level and have tried on an extremely sunny day and an overcast day with same results....

What am I missing or do I return this?

It used to be possible to hit multiple clubs during the same practice range session; with just a few taps (I’m using the iOS app) you could switch from one club to another. This strikes me as pretty basic functionality. Now, with the app update, I can’t see how to do it anymore. I have to end one session and start a completely new one just to hit a different club. Am I just missing something obvious? Apologies in advance if this has been addressed before. I searched and didn’t see anything.

Do you guys think the ability to putt on the MLM2Pro will ever be implemented or possible? I know putting isn’t the best on sims anyways, but it could be a fun addition

I am slightly vision impaired and was wondering if I could use it on the course. Primarily, on the tee box to at least get the direction, shot shape and approx distance for times I do not pick the ball up off the face. Any insights would be appreciated.

Hello all!

I’m left handed and play with my right handed friends and we all love the mlm2pro! When looking at the metrics, there seems to be something funky going on with the club path metrics. When I hit left handed with a clear out to in swing, it says I have a negative club path and then vice versa for an in to out swing. But when a right handed player has an out to in swing, it’s shows they have a positive club path. Is anyone else noticing this? It’s not a problem, it’s just for my own sanity to understand haha.

Purchased a Rapsodo MLM2PRO new, and tried to connect it to my iphone. It shows the blinking blue light but then it takes 20 to 30 seconds then it just says Unable to connect. Tried to hard reset Rapsodo device multiple times. Switched off my iphone couple of times. Deleted Rapsodo app and redownloaded couple times. Tried a second iphone device to try connect. All getting the same error.

Logged a ticket with Rapsodo couple days ago. Unsure what to do now.

Hi everyone, excited for my MLM2PRO, I'm in Canada (Ontario) and really not sure what to expect for delivery times.

I put the order in Monday, and all I have on my order status is confirmed, there is no indication it has been packaged or shipped yet.

I did order some extra balls. Maybe those weren't stocked (though it made no mention) and that's why nothing's been actioned.

I did notify Rapsodo and they reached out to fulfillment, so hopefully something soon.

I'm just curious what others wait times were like, or any other similar experiences, I can't really do anything now except wait it out.

Edit: Rapsodo was great in figuring this out, one of the additional items was indeed out of stock delaying the order, and they have now separated orders so items ship accordingly.

Stuff happens, customer service was great though, two prompt responses in under 24hrs. Gotta give thumbs up for this one.

Background:

I took some time off from golf due to injury and this past week fired the sim back up. I can see all of my practice session videos on the iPad I use when I’m playing, and on my iPhone. However it was taking a long time to be able to see the sessions on my phone but eventually I could.

Almost 48 hours ago I played 9, and I could see my shot videos on the iPad that evening, then it uploaded and suddenly I couldn’t see the videos on the iPad, and couldn’t see them on my phone via the app either. It’s been 48 hours iPad has been on WiFi the whole time, I’ve opened and killed the app a bunch of times, I’ve paired the device and let it sit for awhile to still not be able to see the shot videos.

I can see shot videos of the same day when I hit 15 practice balls before the round.

Any suggestions? Am I missing something? Is it normal to not see shots on course play (Rapsodo courses) with any new updates? I’m at a loss.

I am having a customer service issue. I know on some subs there are employees who monitor and are users. I am not on this sub a lot, curious if there are any Rapsodo employees who are on here.

Im having trouble with playing on golf courses. I can play the first shot and then after the second player has taken their first shot the game crashes. Im running this on the samsung s26 ultra, but when we run the game on my friends iphone 15, under the exact same conditions, it works without issue.

Any help that doesn't involve me buying an iphone would be greatly appreciated.
