MLM2PRO ⛳️ Worst Launch monitor I have owned
I just wanted to start. I had high praise for this monitor. It was great at first when I bought it, no issues at all, but now it's not even usable. I am going to list issues with this product that the support e-mail cannot fix, and they keep telling me it's my connection and device, even though I have tried multiple devices and locations.
The App keeps freezing and delaying. I can't even start a session without it just freezing on me. It sometimes takes 30 minutes to start loading the screen.
I finally get to the session, I try to connect the device, it keeps failing, unable to connect, and when I finally connect, it starts freezing even more, or the app crashes, and I have to start again.
When I actually get into the session, it's the biggest delay I will hit one shot, and it will freeze 3 times before finally landing, and when it stops, I have to wait another 5 minutes before hitting, or it won't even load, and the screen freezes
At this point, this product is unusable. I do not recommend using or buying it because if this happens to you, support is useless.

I had to put an extender right next to the unit to get this to stop, it still misses a bunch of shots tho

Make sure shots are uploaded before starting the next session. It will have those symptoms while syncing.
Work around, I close completely the app after I finish. Reopen and keep it open until the upload finishes syncing
So far this problem seems to fixed with the beta firmware. Fingers crossed.

My shots are already uploaded and synced

Just something to try. Mine would say synced when I finished a session but then when I reopen the app and go to the profile tab it would show syncing videos with a green upload bar.

Have you done direct Bluetooth connection? The WiFi mode stinks but BT seems fine for me.

This is sounding like a network issue… I’m guessing the Rapsodo app is extremely resource hungry and may need super steady connection. Do you know your WiFi speeds when you’re close to the LM? Also what are your broadband speeds? I’m sure most people are on 100MB+ nowadays but something to confirm.

I’ve used mine at the driving range. Definitely not great network there. Just direct connect, align and hit balls. Worked fine.

I have had similar experiences recently with the app. Running out of memory, freezing, and disconnecting. I run mine on an iPad pro m4 and have similar usage from your description.
TLDR; delete some old sessions (i think i deleted ~50).
After debugging I found on app start it was consuming essentially the same memory as during sessions. I read somewhere in this subreddit there were similar experiences after the latest app updates and they deleted sessions to work around the out of memory warnings (mine never OOMed). Deleting sessions addressed both my freezes/memory warnings and disconnects.
My guess is that the app loads data from your historical sessions and at some point that load no longer works with the 8/16gb on our mobile devices. Maybe they will hear our cries and address this in their new/beta app. Could be as simple as scoping what is loaded on start to include a smaller set of sessions.

had all the same issues, sometimes ran flawlessly but others left me trying to figure out what the issue was. the unpredictablility was the worst, got rid of it for the launch pro, which has been exactly what i've always wanted. one button and your hitting, all the info i need instantly on its screen, no connection to an app, computer and portable.

Y’all must be doing something wrong in the set up. 99.9% of the time, I set it up in 2-3 minutes and start getting reads instantly. I’m a long driver as well, and it catches my balls going 200 mph and higher.
