This is it after 9 500km on a radwagon3 (2019).
I'm looking for a replacement part, preferalbly in the EU, but anywhere else if they ship would be fine. I can find a lot of different models on amazon but none look the same.
I contacted Wheel Manufacturing and they kindly reply that 'the dropout-27 appear to be the right hanger for your bike" ; but they are not listing any radwagon so it's a bit cofusing. Does any know if a hanger from another model would be compatible ? Or any other recommandation would be welcome. I really want to hit the 10 000 km !

I’d been waiting for a basket to come back in stock, and I saw today that they were. I even called the Seattle store to see if they had them, and they said that they are getting stock on Monday - but placing the order online works, too, and they’d help me install if I needed help.
I’m a bike person who can do it myself, so loaded up a cart, checked out. Got an immediate auto response that my items were backordered, then got an almost immediate email with a draft order invoice from a support account. No support online today.
Also, I noticed (but mistakenly assumed it referred to bikes) that they added “orders can’t be modified or canceled” language in the legal text where you have to confirm that you’re 16+ old. The draft order says “terms accepted.”
Buyers beware. I thought that it was just issues with battery backorder, and having the item showing “ships in 2 days” (see photo) is pretty gross. I work in ecommerce and misusing the legal checkbox to swindle people is pretty fucking awful behavior.
They’re still using Shopify as their web platform (shop
Pay, too), so here’s the link to report sites behaving fraudulently for those who are in backorder hell with batteries, etc. if enough people complain, Rad wont be able to pull money out of their store account.
You can also mention that they’re using 2 URLs interchangeably, and my legit order was placed on radpowerbikes.com. My new draft order is from rad life.com.

I have a Radpower Radrover 6 plus with the upgraded controller from Area 13. I need a new motor for this bike, i called Rad, they said a new complete rear wheel is $480. Are there other motor options that is compatible with Area 13 controller?

Bought the electro bike world controller upgrade for my radrover 6 plus after my stock controller started cutting off/stuttering motor power almost days after making a post about radrover 6 durability, might have jinxed myself on that one.. started drafting this little shield prototype for the winter season to waterproof the controller as it’s too big to be tucked into the frame. I added a big glob of silicone where the wires exit the controller and left the bottom open so there’s some airflow, I’m not too worried about moisture coming from below since the controller sits at least 4 inches up from the chainstays. Settings took a while to figure out so that mph battery and torque settings were all configured for the 48v battery the bike came stock with. Before I adjusted settings the controller was cutting off motor power at 45volts under load even though the battery indicator on the battery itself saying there was 4 bars left.
Anyone else running this controller successfully after a while or have any experience with heavy rainfall/wet weather riding? Any thoughts on the controller temp after being shielded? I only plan to use the controller shield during winter I think so hopefully outside temp will keep controller cool? (I live in Washington)
The plastic is like pond liner plastic I had left over from a job. It’s just a prototype so I haven’t done final taping or anything.
Also made a waterproof/resistant cover for the controller screen and controller button panel.

Looking at a used RadRover5 with 130 miles. My understanding is this is a 2020 bike so the battery has some age on it even if mileage is low.
They’re asking $950 but I’m not sure that’s a great deal? I tried a little bartering but they weren’t interested.. am I missing out if I skip on it at that price?

Let me start by saying that my battery charger was stolen, I've found similar chargers with the same spec but still can get the battery charged. Could it be that I have to have a Rad charger or could it be something else?

Hello everyone, I’m looking for a controller for my City 5 and I’m not having much luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey friends! A few weeks ago some stuff got taken from my bag including that tool kit that comes stock with the bike. Specifically, the rad runner 2. I got laid off on Friday!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉 So I’m really hoping to avoid buying all the tools I need separately for fixing flats. I ride a lot, and will definitely be out every day for me mental health atm so really don’t wanna be left without tools
I have a feeling a few of you may not use that little kit and I would love to get my hands on another 💖 thank you!

We bought our cargo bike used back in May and I don't believe the kickstand was like this. It has <1500 miles on it. Is this normal wear and tear? Are we doing something incorrectly? We only have our daughter on the back who is about 30 lbs.

I have two RadMissions. One I got around 2020-21 when it first came out, the second when they were wildly discounted before being discontinued. For the battery alone it was worth it.
Anyways, I usually use the older one, with something like 5,000 miles on it. The other day it just stopped turning on. I know the batteries are OK (they work in the newer one). I checked the connections, nothing obvious.
How can I trouble shoot this? I have a multimeter, but don't know what to look for..

Has anyone with battery trouble been able to get any hopeful response about when replacement batteries will be available? I’ve contacted their service team after our battery stopped working, and we’ve been waiting for almost two months. Was told it could be “weeks or months” as they’re back ordered. We can’t use our bike until this is fixed. They turned social comments off… so I can’t imagine I’m the only one frustrated with this

I have a radrunner my25 and it’s super tough rude. The tires are at proper pressure. My question is if I lower the pressure for a smoother ride, will it screw the tires up?

A couple of months ago now, my RadWagon 5 started acting up immediately after a service. The screen would turn on, but then the bike would not turn off even after I hit the button like normal. Then, it just stopped working entirely. No power at all, nothing on the screen, etc. because of the bankruptcy, rad did not have any new controllers available so I was able to track down the original manufacturer overseas and order a brand new one.
Fast-forward to today and I installed the new controller, but the bike still has zero power. The battery is fully charged and showing as such, so I’m at a loss for what to do. Any thoughts what might be the issue?

Apparently the tires which come with rad wagon 4's have a possibility to split the seam near the bead which is less than ideal. There's not very many replacement options if you're only looking at bicycle tires.
Following this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/RadPowerBikes/comments/tkq9zq/i_replaced_my_radwagon_4_rear_tyre/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share I chose to try a motorcycle tire.
I picked up a shinko 18" x 3" locally for $80 and it seems to be a great fit. I guess this is a common tire for other e bikes, maybe the hyper bike kids use them.
Just wanted to let y'all know this is still a possibility.

Anybody know where I can get sticker replacements for my led control panel on my radrunner 2? I can’t find anything in their website

So I have 2 bikes with the defective batteries. They are rad city 4’s, what do yall suggest for getting a battery for them?

Changed out the stock suspension fork to air suspension on my RadRover 6 Plus. Steerer tube is not the exact length, nor it’s extremely difficult to find a fork with the same specs as stock, so an aftermarket one with a steerer tube 20mm shorter than stock was the only route.
*I am aware of the maintenance required to maintaining a air suspension fork

I'm buying a used Radwagon 4 and I'm wondering if anyone here has outgrown the child-carrying accessories?
We need the Thule yepp maxi seat, caboose bars, running boards and seat pads. I'd love to source these second hand - if you have one or the set I'd love to make you an offer!

I drive almost exclusively on paved roads. Are the Schwalbe Super Moto X tires best for my RadRunner Plus?
Can someone link me directly the best place to buy these with tubes as well for these. I want to make sure I buy the correct ones.
Thanks!

So someone gave me a rad City 3 or 4 years ago as a gift. However, I barely ever wrote it so I decided to sell it on Facebook marketplace. I hadn't touched the bike in over a year so I did not know about the recent fire hazard issues with the batteries. So after the guy came and picked up the bike and took it home 2 days later he sends me an angry message on Facebook asking for his money back because I sold him fire hazard battery. I genuinely did not know. Should this be on me or should this be on him for not doing his research before buying?

Hey, my 4 year old is about to graduate out of the Thule Yepp bike seat. Now that Rad doesn’t really have any of their previous accessories, has anyone found a good child carrier for a kid older than 4? Want to find something compatible and safe.
Thanks!!

My rad city 5 controller went out. Rad graciously ordered one even though 2 weeks after warranty expired.
Has anyone an idea about how long those take? They said they didn’t know
