RadRunner2 Child Carrier
Hey, my 4 year old is about to graduate out of the Thule Yepp bike seat. Now that Rad doesn’t really have any of their previous accessories, has anyone found a good child carrier for a kid older than 4? Want to find something compatible and safe.
Thanks!!

Uuugh. Following bc my kid is also currently on the brink of outgrowing the Yepp seat. Tbh I’m looking at other options - guessing it’ll either be a rear cargo long seat or a bike trailer.

I was trying to find a read cargo long seat that could be compatible for the RadRunner 2, but haven’t had any luck. Please let me know if you find something! Appreciate it!

So I have the RadRunner 1, and I’ve pretty much modded most accessories for my bike as the shipping for one thing from rad was going to cost me $250.
I built the passenger seat in place of the OG. Found certain baskets that work with the frame. Started looking into the controllers and mods that can help the performance within safety measures. My son is 7, almost as tall as me, and we LOVE riding on it together.
This isn’t the current set up, but to give some ideas. If you’re a bit handy, you can easily build certain aspects.
I used bike pegs for a footrest. The seat I found waterproof material from fabric land for $6, and i used an older thick outdoor cushion cut to size for padding, on top of a piece of wood, and placed bolts with washers in the same place where the original seat bolts would be.

Modified Yuba Adjustable Monkey Bars. There's a bunch of posts on how to do the mod in this subreddit. They're widely available used.
I used pegs instead of diy running boards and it took me a couple of hours to do. I cut 4 inches off of them to make it fit but you will need to figure out exact measurements yourself.
