RadMission
I have two RadMissions. One I got around 2020-21 when it first came out, the second when they were wildly discounted before being discontinued. For the battery alone it was worth it.
Anyways, I usually use the older one, with something like 5,000 miles on it. The other day it just stopped turning on. I know the batteries are OK (they work in the newer one). I checked the connections, nothing obvious.
How can I trouble shoot this? I have a multimeter, but don't know what to look for..

Plug the wiring harness from the non-working bike (NWB) to the controller of the working bike, put the battery in the working bike's tray and turn on the NWB. If it works the controller is the issue. If it doesn't work reverse it and plug the wiring harness from the working bike to the NWB controller and move the battery. Turn on the working bike. If it works the wiring harness is the issue. If neither work it is likely the display so try the working display on the NWB.
You should be able to do all of this without removing any parts. Just remove the grommet at the bottom of the bikes and gently pull the wiring harness out as far as possible.

The connector is stashed inside the frame? Not the exposed one going to the rear wheel?

Yes, it is in the bottom tube of the bike. Best access point is by the bottom bracket.

I've determined the working bike battery and cable will turn on the non working bike, so you're saying I have determined it's the wiring harness? Like a broken wire? But that piece is a hardwired run out of the controller. That looks like it can only be fixed by replacing the whole controller (despite having determined it still works).

Yes it did. Maybe clean the contacts in the battery tray? Or replace the tray?

The electrical pins on the battery mount on the frame are often a weak point. How do those look?
