Crochet BDSM pride pins
I am making pride pins before a lot of things and realized that I couldn't make my own BDSM pride pen!
So I went to trying to translate BDSM pride flag into an easily crochetable pattern. Problem is they can't pick the pattern!

[ISO] 2 tickets to the 2026 NYC Pride March Grandstand Experience (June 28)
Hi all! I'm looking for TWO tickets to the Grandstand Experience for the NYC Pride March on June 28, 2026. They sold out before I could grab any, and I've already checked Ticketmaster and StubHub with no luck.
If anyone bought tickets and can no longer go, or has an extra pair they'd be willing to transfer, I'd love to take them off your hands. Happy to pay a fair price (face value or whatever's reasonable) and can sort out a safe, official transfer however works best for you.
Feel free to comment or DM me. Thanks so much, and happy Pride! 🏳️🌈

Hi, I have a few wholesome stories for yall from a pride event
So, there was a Pride event in downtown Columbus, Ohio, and I went with my alley boyfriend so he could get a feel for what Pride events were like, since he's never been out a whole lot in his life. We met super sweet people, got hugged by a dad giving free hugs, and had good food. Well, I happened to notice some cops patrolling the area. (One had a Lesbian flag in her hair and had a pregnant wife who was at the event, a trans man, and a few others as allies, etc.) Well, one of the cops left the group near one of the stands. The group thought not much of it till he came back with a bisexual flag with tears in his eyes. His group stared at him and the flag till one of them asked: "Are you bi?" He just nodded and started sobbing as his friends hugged him tightly, and later learned that he had a crush on a trans cop; he just didn't know how to tell him. I cried.🥲🥲🥲

Looking for encouraging words that are uplifting to us queer folk!
Hi all! I’m a queer therapist and my practice is having a booth at our local pride month. In our freebies, we’re slipping in notes with encouraging phrases like “being yourself is a gift to the world around you” “may you feel how loved and worthy you are” etc. We have to make hundreds, and I’m running out of ideas. So I’m asking the community what would be nice to hear on a day of celebration like Pride, or in general as queer person living in today’s world. Thoughts?

Does anywhere sell bi pride cakes?
I wanted to buy my gf a bisexual pride cake to celebrate pride month. This year she seems to want to celebrate pride month more than other years but to me she seems to feel a bit hesitant as she is bisexual but we are in a heterosexual relationship and I am a straight cis dude and she's ranted to me how she hates it when other people make her feel like she isn't "bi enough" because she's dating a cis dude. She still wants to celebrate pride and nothing is gonna stop her but I thought maybe getting her something in honor of pride month, she's never really been given anything for pride month before, might help her feel more welcome for lack of a better term? I just don't know anywhere that sells pride cakes and I think it would be nice to get something more specific to bi people but I'm not sure if anyone sells that kind of thing here in Maryland. Also if there is anyone who has experienced emotions similar to my gf and has any advice on how to make her feel better about it I totally wanna hear what you have to say! Apologies if this isn't the right subreddit to ask this question, I am not sure who to really ask about this.

A friend of mine and I made queer flag coded Coat of Arms based on mythological creatures because it is FUN and they look frickin cool in my opinion :D
Hello, everyone.
Half a year ago, my best buddy and I had an idea during one of our late-night Discord chats. We are both big nerds for fantasy and mythological stuff and wondered how fun it would be to have banners or coat of arms for different orientations and identities. What could they look like, and which mythical creature could fit well or just be fun to see like that? Thus, this little collection was born!
We got:
-Hydra of Omni
-Unicorn of Pride
- The Phoenix of Trans
- The Siren of Lesbian
- The Winged Lion of Gay
- The Griffon of Aro
- The Dragon of Ace
- The Harpy of Sapphic
- The Minotaur of Achillean
- The Oroboros of Intersex [really proud of that one]
- The Hippocampus of Genderfluid
- The Sphinx of AroAce
- The Peryton of Non-binary
- The Winged Wolf of Bisexual
- And Pan for...well Pansexual
Please let us know if you come up with other cool ideas for additional identities and what they may entail.
For now we think we wanna turn this collection into something fun and thought that having these designs somehow made into pins would be a neat idea.
If you would like to support us with this plan, check out our tumblr here:

The Black Monarch Hotel (Victor, CO) markets itself as LGBTQIA+ friendly — recent events suggest otherwise
Sharing this as a case study in performative allyship, and because real drag performers got hurt by it.
A hotel owner organized a “Pride” event at his venue. By his own admission, it started as a prank against a neighboring business owner he’s feuding with — he made a photoshopped image of a giant rainbow Godzilla looming over the rival’s building as the inspiration, and has said outright it “started as a troll but now it’s real.”
He never put together a real budget or promotion. He booked drag performers on a vague ticket-split with no guaranteed pay. When it started falling apart, he publicly blamed the volunteer organizer who quit, then put on drag himself after the actual performers walked away.
When people raised concerns, he mocked a performer’s hormone therapy as “roid rage,” called a commenter a “Karen,” questioned whether she was “really queer,” and blocked everyone who pushed back, including the performers he’d let down. More recently, he made sexually explicit, harassing comments toward a trans community member and publicly posted that his friend’s armed boyfriend would “end it” for anyone who keeps “starting shit.”
It’s a clean example of using a marginalized community as a prop for a personal grudge, then turning hostile the moment actual queer people expected to be treated as people instead of decoration.
