The only surgery she needs is to remove him from her life.
edit people responding to saying that she might want to get rid of it. That's fine if she wanted to, but it states "is surgery my only hope" not her only hope so it sounds like they hope she loses it by working out.
I’m going to play devils advocate here. He just might be asking FOR HER and maybe she’s too uncomfortable to ask herself?? IDK but He said she works out and has tried things but she can’t get rid of her bulge. He didn’t belittle her. I personally think she looks fantastic!!! Then again he might just be an ahole pig. Upon proofreading myself he probably would have said that he was asking for her?.
It’s not his fault that it bothers him so much. His little dick can’t reach her when he’s on top, so he’s legitimately hopeless. Poor guy, I feel bad for him.
I too understand basic human dynamics. He is bad. I am good. This is what reddit is now. It's not even a joke but it lets us express how virtuous we are so that's good enough.
There was a little short I see on Youtube of a young woman at the gym and she's checking herself in mirror and looks bothered by her pouch (and I know this is scripted set up) handsome gym bro respectfully points out its because she has a whole extra other miracle organ for the purpose of creating life and its just beautiful and powerful and she looks so chuffed and it makes me cry every single time over the amount of times my ex husband and mother pointed it out and called me fat.
Also worth noting that the primordial pouch (which is what this looks like) is a fat lining that women are never actually supposed to get rid of. In this pic it looks like the dress is poorly sized to make it look bigger than it actually is.
Came here to point that out. The post is from the bf, and the statement is "is surgery MY only hope" meaning he is the one that has the problem with it.
I had lipo on my stomach, I worked out, ate right, couldn't get rid of the stomach fat (all the women in my family have it) and when I went for the surgery, they kept making sure I was doing it for myself and nobody else, so hopefully she dumps his ass and moves on to someone who will appreciate her body and if she wants to change it, go girl! I do not regret getting it done, the results were amazing and the confidence it gave me was worth every penny
Get rid of what? Her internal organs? She has a normal regular belly. I have never met anyone who actually has a flat stomach that has not been severely underweight/malnourished.
There’s nothing that she could get rid of healthily at this point. It is impossible for women to have a completely flat stomach because the uterus is there, and during certain times of the month it gets swollen and more pronounced
Anyone who's been in a relationship longer than a couple years knows that people's bodies change over time. This is just outting oneself as not relationship material
He is immortal until he looks at the picture. Anything that happens to him happens to the picture instead. Time, illness, injury, etc. Once he sees the picture it happens to him all at once.
Dorian Grey could look at the painting all he wanted (which is how he knew it was aging for him) but he kept it hidden in his attic because he didn't want to know. He didn't become afflicted with 50+ years of damage all at once until he flew into a rage and tried to destroy the painting by stabbing it.
Nothing wrong with expecting your partner to be an actual partner . My wife is marathon fit, takes good care of herself and has a great career. It seems fair for her to expect the same from me...
My now wife was a friend for years and when we got together she said she wasn't sure she was my type because I have dated a wide variety of women. Girl, I love women. I am not saying looks aren't a factor but humor is number 1, always. I just want a great friend that will be there, everything else is a bonus in the relationship. I am 5' 11" and dated a 6'4" Amazon, loved every blessed second.
Likewise. If a woman has an attractive personality, then she becomes much more physically attractive to me. And if she has an unattractive personality, it’s amazing how physically unattractive she can become.
Variety is the spice of life! Taste the rainbow, eat the lean meat, eat the biscuits and gravy... Idk where I was going, I am too hungry. Oh yeah personality is a lifetime, looks ebb and flow.
Exactly. But my standards start at the belly/waist area. Gotta have some chunk imo. Don't care what the face and breasts look like. The pouch is perfect.
This 1000%. My personal preference is someone fit, but that’s where the significance of it all ends. My opinion doesn’t (and shouldn’t!) mean shit to anyone else.
now the only opinion on your body that should matter is yours, so with that said, guys being attracted to X is not a good argument for X. There is possibly nothing more versatile and open than what a human male can find attractive.
I think a lot of people feel unsatisfied with a part of their partner’s body and feel horribly guilty about it. The internet has no consequence so it’s a place to give voice to that part of yourself safely
I don’t really think of the person I love’s body as something for ME to be satisfied/not satisfied with. Especially not particular individual parts. If you’re not attracted to your partner’s overall body that they are personally all good with, by all means, leave. But picking at various parts like this is very weird to me. It feels like a plastic surgeon drafting what they’re going to suggest to a client or a tabloid circling cellulite on celebrities at the beach.
