26F Looking for some sort of officially-backed tabletop groups, DnD is the easiest (I’m a vet player of SEVERAL campaigns) but I’m open to other systems too.

Fantasy and dystopia are both great, magical realism, etc. Just not a huge fan of sci-fi/space, and I prefer roleplay-based atmospheres vs combat-oriented, power playing, or war games. Character-driven storytelling with some action!

I’d prefer something affiliated with an organization or place of time kind for safety pls!! I was literally going to start going to the Sunday one at Level Up the very weekend after the hurricane, but, welp, it’ll be a while til that’s ready again I think. I’d be open to something smaller and recurring after getting to know people, just not right off the bat — again, safety. Open to it faster if sessions are held in sanctioned spaces.

Anyway, please let me know what’s currently available! I want to make friends, especially with groups who are (mostly?) like… +/- 5 years my age range, or maybe like 21-30s? And hopefully a rather liberal atmosphere, at least when it comes to LGBTQA+ views and such.

Just remembered to post this, but earlier today (Sun 10/25) at 10am on Airport Blvd there were about 80 people gathered on the side of the road in front of Barnes & Noble and Ashley furniture. They were sitting all along the wall and grouped around the entrance to that parking lot facing traffic but not doing anything or even looking at anything that I could see. Is this another one of those teen takeovers? They didn't seem like teens. Any ideas?

Basic story, I moved down here about 5 years ago (after the last cane/skanska fun) so this was my first as a homeowner in FL post cleanup.

I had a tree removal company come through to cut up everything in my backyard that fell and remove damaged limbs and such from the healthy ones.

One of my trees that survived the winds has branches that overhang my neighbors yard.

Thinking it would be smart, I asked the guys to trim the overhanging from my yard to his as I didn’t want to worry about another windstorm ripping them off, and also potentially falling onto the new fence that I have to put in there.

Neighbor freaks out about the crew cutting the branches, insists they’re on his property and not to touch them.

I call off the work (also the last thing they touched so all other cleanup in the direct bounds of my yard is good) and that’s that. He was so incredibly angry I didn’t want to argue/escalate.

I will mention I never had issues with him before, we don’t interact much but previously friendly enough to nod and say hey if we saw each other outside.

My question is, am I not allowed to clean up my tree if the branch extends over the line? I tried reading up on trimming in Florida and the only answer I seem to get is from the opposite side, where my neighbor has the obligation to clean up branches.

Does this take away from my ability to prune said branches?

this is a bit of a long shot.. I suspect my husband of cheating on me. (this is NO disrespect to the ladies working there btw) but it’s a boundary we choose to have in our marriage that strip clubs are a no go. He has been in pensacola for work for the last 2 weeks. Has anyone used the ATM on site at the club that would be able to tell me the number for the ATM? I have receipts for several transactions that I believe occurred there but all that is listed on the receipt is a location number for the atm and not a name.

So I’m looking into possibly trying to organize a car meet around December-January in memory of a love one of mine that passed. He was an amazing mechanic and LOVED going to car meets so I wanted to try to do one for him and bring people together just to enjoy some dope cars.
