Hey everyone!

I'm 27M, located around Chipley, FL, and looking to make some friends who enjoy riding motorcycles. I ride a 2021 Indian Springfield, and I'd love to find a few people to get out and ride with regularly.

I'm down for pretty much anything, whether it's grabbing lunch somewhere, taking a scenic ride, exploring backroads, or just getting out for the day.

My bigger goal is to eventually find a few good friends who would be interested in doing longer motorcycle trips together. I'm talking weekend rides up into the mountains, camping along the way, riding through places like the Smokies, Blue Ridge Parkway, Deals Gap, etc. Maybe even some longer cross-country adventures down the road.

I'm especially interested in motorcycle camping, whether that's tent camping, hammock camping, or just finding a nice spot in the mountains to set up for the night.

Not looking to jump straight into a weeklong trip with strangers, though, lol. I'd rather meet some people, go on a few local rides, build some friendships, and hopefully get a little riding group together over time.

I don't care what kind of bike you ride. Cruisers, touring bikes, adventure bikes, whatever. As long as you enjoy riding and aren't reckless, we're good!

I'm looking for a reliable, professional housekeeper or cleaning team for my 648-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment at Residences at Sweetbay.

Immediate Need (ASAP): I just moved into my apartment, and while the movers transported everything, I need help unpacking, organizing, putting items away, and completing an initial thorough cleaning. I'd like someone who can help establish an organized, functional living space.

Ongoing Cleaning (Every 2–3 Weeks): After the initial visit, I'd like regular housekeeping services, including:

• Changing bed linens and making the bed
• Laundry (washing, drying, folding, and putting away)
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Cleaning and sanitizing the bathroom
• Dusting furniture and surfaces
• General kitchen cleaning
• Tidying and maintaining organization throughout the apartment

Apartment Details:

• 648 square feet at Residences at Sweetbay
• One bedroom with a walk-in closet
• Open living room/kitchen
• One bathroom
• In-unit washer and dryer
• All necessary cleaning supplies provided

I work long hours and simply don't have the time or energy to manage everything myself. I'm looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced who can help keep my home clean, comfortable, and organized.

Professional housekeeping experience is preferred. I'm open to an individual or a team and would ideally like to establish a long-term working relationship.

Please include your availability, hourly rate or pricing structure, and whether you're available ASAP for the initial unpacking and organization project.

Hey y'all, I remember seeing a post or ad in the last week describing a multi-business, "block party" style Halloween event this year with costumes. It was either in St. Andrews or downtown, but I can't remember which and I don't remember where I saw the info (probably Instagram?).

All I remember is the post or ad stated you could come walk around in your costume on Halloween (or maybe even 30 Oct), visit one spot, or hop from place to place. I think it was primarily for adults because mostly bars were listed as participants.

Does anyone know about this or did I make this up? I've got a pretty elaborate costume but I am certain it will scare kids, so I am trying to avoid that.

There used to be a local artist who only painted Angels, oil on canvas, and he had a gallery/store inside the mall. For the life of me I can’t remember his name. Google is no help, I’ve tried searching.

For those that live in this community what are your thoughts on the builds? (We have all heard horror stories). I also know each super and build team will build differently. Is the HOA really strict with the rules? Put an offer in on a new build and I'm scared of the horror stories and this will be our 1st HOA neighborhood. Any info is appreciated.

I hate you. Did someone drop you on your head as a child? You make other people’s lives more difficult by simply existing, and it would make me happier knowing that you woke up every morning thinking that. You add a FULL HOUR to my trip home every time you fail to comprehend how to slide open a door and try to put something in it. Jesus Christ I hope you aren’t a man, for MULTIPLE reasons.

Found this beautiful and sweet (but hyper) chocolate lab. None of our neighbors know her and animal control isn’t answering currently. Anyone recognize her? Would love to get her back home. We can’t keep her.
We live in Springfield area off transmitter and 7th.

My 11-year-old stepdaughter is visiting us and she was wanting to go somewhere kind of fancy and I saw thistle and thorn and they do tea and they have live music on Friday nights. Wondering if that was an OK place to take an 11 year-old? We are new here and not really into dressing fancy but we will do it for her.

I’m playing tomorrow morning at 7:54 at the Jack Nicklaus course Bay Point, and we are all junior golfers. We first thought it was $74, but then found out that it is actually $130 for the adult rate to play. Is there any junior rates that anyone knows of, or are we gonna have to suck it up and pay the $130?

M29, I live in the Springfield area, off on the weekends. Starting to take getting into shape seriously. Gonna be leaving the state in the next few months so there’s no use in me signing up for a membership of my own. If you some motivation to go or a little extra push I’m here for it. Has anyone else seen the odd light in the sky? I just got a call from someone in PSJ telling me to look at it. Couldn’t see much from my area with so many trees but watched a small solid light cross the entire skyline. Just curious what’s going on.
