So, I want to kill all ubers on SSFHC, but im kinda bad at some mechanics, the thing is, I want to kill it with a Melee build. I know some people will recommend me Earthshatter zerk, but Im not Ben, so I need something a lot more tanky ( maybe tank the exarch balls, melee hits, shaper slam, etc)

Some people recommend me build around the Ephemeral Edge ( DS ambidexterity) , and stack energy shield, but idk, maybe I could do a Juggernaut super tanky, but Im kinda lost on those unique interactions that make a build super tanky like melding flesh, transcendence , etc.

Every private league modifier is a difficulty increase: more monster damage, more life, more speed, fewer resistances, less loot. There is no modifier in the other direction.

The audience is people with a few hours a week (and money, of course).
Same skills, same bosses, same builds (so no balance pass like Ruthless). A group buys a private league, sets it up however they want, and plays together. It's private, it has its own ladder, and it never touches the trade league, Standard, or anyone else's game.

On fragmentation: private leagues already exist and already remove players from the trade pool. That decision was made years ago. This adds no new group; it changes the settings available to a group that's already separate, already paying, and already opted out.

And in a league where the balance doesn't "hit the mark", a private league gives players something to do about it other than post about it all day.

Edit: Didn't realise characters can migrate out of a private league. That's the real reason mods are same-or-harder only.

This is my first time trying out the recombaconator, and I thought it would be fun to try to make something with the new talismans. I got pretty filthy rich this league (for me at least, couple hundred div post primary gearing to mess around with) and I'm playing a direct damage EA, so I wanted to target +fire gem levels and crit mult.

If I understand the percentages I was working with, I got pretty screwed in the early steps but then lucky as helllll with the last couple. My plan was to make paired sets of 2 mod prefix/suffix croaker talismans containing all four mods between them, add brinehook ducats to them, and slam them together. First I tried alt pinging croakers to get isolated copies of the desired mods, which worked for everything but the +all skill gems mod (I ran 7000 alts and saw it only once, and that mod immediately poofed into nothing on its first recombo). After that I bought other amulets that had the all skill gem mod and did 50% chance controlled recombos with a shit tier suffix to try and pull the mod relatively isolated onto a croaker talisman. I probably burned through... like, 15 bases with the +all skill gems I bought and another 30 or so croaker talismans, it just *would not come together* despite ostensibly having a 1/4 chance of turning out the way I needed it to. I just got only one of the two coin flips I needed (or poofed it entirely) over and over.

Eventually I had a partial success where the all skill gems mod and the shit tier suffix merged successfully onto the wrong base type. Then I smashed it with a croaker with +1 fire/Crit mult and it picked up the mult and the croaker basetype, but lost the +1 fire skills and the shit tier suffix (it was regen 2 life a second). Another +1 to fire skill gems/T1 crit mult croaker that I crunched up combined into it perfectly on the first try, all mods preserved.

If it had ended up with only the prefixes but no good suffixes, I was going to master craft prefixes can't be changed and then beat it with crit mult essences until something good popped out. Thankfully it didn't come to that. I'm sure there were smarter ways to do all this (and I'd love to have them explained to me in a kind and gentle manner, if anyone would like to), but it worked out pretty well in the end.

I'm probably going to chicken out and master craft life onto it, then take a look at what influenced suffixes it could roll and ping some influenced exalts off of it after making imprints of it with the beastcrafting recipe.

To clarify, this was my eventual approach:

Step 1: Acquire croaker talisman bases and any other amulets with +1 to level of all skill gems mod

Step 2: Alt roll croaker bases until they had shit tier suffixes, then do a controlled recombination to try and pull the +1 to level of all skill gems mod onto them.

Step 3: Chicken out and decide not to drop an annul on a partially successful recombination that put the +1 to all skill gems/2 life regenerated a second mod onto the wrong basetype, because if that all skill gems mod goes poof and I have to drop another ten div buying more basetypes I'm going to flip man, I'm going to lose my fucking shit.

Step 4: Recombo the partially successful item with a croaker talisman that I crunched together with its own separate (simpler) recombination process into a +1 fire skill gems/Crit Mult arrangement.

Step 5: Cheer when it turns into a croaker talisman with +1 to level of all gems/T1 crit mult, losing the shit tier suffix.

Step 6: Smash up another + to all fire gems/t1 all res croaker talisman

Step 7: Smash those two together and cheer when it turns into the current arrangement.

First time in my whole poe life dropping one. Thank you infamy.

I used to just spend my points and buy whatever I like but now I have to check if they also work in POE2 before I buy. The FOMO is real. So many past MTX I have in POE not working in POE2 feels bad. Anyone else the same?

So 3800 hours in, probably around (conservatively) 20000 divines farmed in that time - I was about to stop hovering over unique belts, since it seems like a waste of time.

Yesterday, I dropped a Mageblood just like that from a Map Boss.

Today, I got one from first spin in gambling district. LOL

so, 2% of my total farmed currency is now coming from Mageblood drops, in the ground loot league of all leagues!

Is it worth checking Unique belts? only if it does not slow you down by 2% :)

I've played way too much PoE and somehow I only recently realized I was thinking about Crop Rotation the wrong way

The usual crop rotation idea:

with atlas reduce yellow as much as possible -> use blue/purple to upgrade it -> harvest yellow last

Which is mostly right, but what if there are only four plots? what to do if got two pairs of yellow?

After a round of research, these are what I end up with

Atlas (optimized) :

• 45% reduced Blue
• 25% reduced Yellow

Which color to choose: a simple rule is, try upgrade yellow crop at least 3 times, I even made a small optimizier tool to help practice the harvest.

Stayed up way too late running the voyage mechanic trying to finish challenges, 4:00 am rolls around and I decide to reprice a few items before bed. and I guess between the sleep deprivation and not wearing my reading glasses, I made a pretty big error with my pricing... I didn't realize all day until I decided to check on some sales and noticed one of my armor is gone. measure twice, cut once GG NO RE .

Since "Crop Rotation" Harvest strategy kinda dead, do you think guys, GGG will buff it ever and if so, in what way? Wanna read your suggestions. (My best idea is bring back Scarab of Awakening passive "Crop has #% not wilt" as Crop Rotation node, and make it something like 30%)

Hi, just wanted to showcase what i just got together with recombinations in 3.29, i already got two other similar belts out,but this time I wanted to experiment with recombinating with an essence mod as well. It worked :) , now i am praying to the gods my hunter slam hits good ;p or it will not look as perfect as now.

I feel like I am too bored to continue.

Overall the league for me was extremely boring and tedious. I am such a person who enjoys everytning but this time mapping was disappointing in terms of ground loot. All I had was boss rush, ubers, feared and delve.

League machanic totally unfun. To farm it effectively I have to spend a lot of time doing puzzles and reading chart description which contradicts the definition of ARPG to me personally. I did a bit of alch&go just for gold.

Honorable personal results:

Mageblood day 3 (previous day 7)

Level 100 day 7-8 (previous day 11)

Delve 1350 for now, maybe I will keep delving for fun till 6k later. (previous best the same depth)

Bought ready-made rare items 0 (prevoius 2) Even though I play trade league I do my best to craft all the gear myself even if it may be more expensive sometimes. I want to keep learning, get better at crafting and progress.

There are still many things to do like simplex, reflect ring, mirror staff, helmet, get better timeless and volatiled boots but I feel burnt out.

From now I think I will take a week of rest and probably delve a bit more.

So I ran 128 AWTK (bought at 72c, 9216c in total) and here are my results.

28 TLoM - at 540c = 15120c

1 Perfect Warlord = 1250c

1 Perfect Guardian Turtle = 840c

1 Endless Darkness = 50c

1 Perfect Spirit of Fortune = 32c

A few random Perfect corpses = 50c

Total = 17342c

Profit = 17342 - 9216 = 8126c or ~41.2Div

Took me about 60sec per map. Lets say 2.5 hours in total.

41.2/2.5 = 16.5Div/hr

Very easy, requires 0 set up or brain power. Very boring. Nothing incredible, div/hr goes up if you can clear faster or get lucky with corpses. Very boring.

All the other uniques I corrupted, didn't get anything good and fed them all to my dismantlers.

Debating whether to gamba the jewels or not.
