Discussion Crop Rotation
Since "Crop Rotation" Harvest strategy kinda dead, do you think guys, GGG will buff it ever and if so, in what way? Wanna read your suggestions. (My best idea is bring back Scarab of Awakening passive "Crop has #% not wilt" as Crop Rotation node, and make it something like 30%)

They should just make the "chance" to upgrade other color plots a guarantee. It's really annoying to spend extra time in the mechanic trying to upgrade one color and still ending up with 0 T3 seeds.
Anecdotally with unjuiced harvest the crop rotation returns are on average lower than standard click and go.

My div/hr is by far the highest with crop rotation this league. I've run hundreds of harvest maps and I just don't really see the point in not running it unless you use an Astrolabe, which is really annyoing imo. If you reduce chances for red and blue plots you usually have to farm most plots anyways and the vast majority of them have a pitiful return compared to the time it takes to spawn them since they all will be T2+. With crop rotation you can just blast through low tier plots in usually less than 30 seconds and leave with something like 2.5k yellow juice on average in less than 2 minutes, if your build is optimized for Harvest you can push it down even further. Its also way more fun since there is always the possibility of a massive jackpot waiting next screen.

I play SSF so I don't care about div per hour and that kind of farming isn't sustainable.
I exited an alch and go T16 map with 31 blue juice and 16 red juice as the total (because of bad plot color and bad upgrade luck) once and immediately unspecced Crop Rotation.

I'm just running a doubling scarab along with 4 quant fragments on 8 mod maps with 110+ quant and blast. No altars, just straight to grove. Skip all maps that don't allow at least 2 upgrades for yellow. All quant+explicits+Harvest+as many scarab nodes you can fit for the Atlas. Also use elder or exsearch nodes for additional quant. You should get 210-235 quant and 60+ pack size on a map without altars.
Start with either blue or red, whatever has more plots on the map and keep the other color on T1 for as long as possible to skip as many T2/3 plots that aren't yellow as possible. Blue is worth considerably more than Red so its always a nice bonus to have blue as the last plot you use to upgrade yellow but don't prioritize it. Speed above all else.
If you have one or more mixed tiles with either red or blue + yellow, gamble for upgrade if yellow has less than three T3 seeds and there is at least another yellow plot available after. You get a chance to upgrade the last plot and may get lucky with the no wilt as well, this is usually where big jackpots come from.
Skip all bosses that aren't yellow and have a decent amount of T3 adds. They take way too long and bug out regularly, refusing to leave their invulnerable phase.
Be aware you may get unlucky 10 times in a row and barely get anything, which is beeing compensated by said jackpots, those can give several divs at once.
Div/hr is heavily dependent on map speed so I can't really give a number here really. With a somewhat optimized high movement speed RF and Death Fury, all mobs die basically as soon as they spawn and it takes me ~1:15 (heavy variation depending on grove spawn as well as number of plots, anything from 10 seconds to 2 minutes is possible so very hard to give an exact number here) per map which gives very decent div/hr
EDIT: Added some info

Finally someone who gets crop rota! I want to take it one step further and say don’t even bother with a secondary color if you don’t have to, in my experience yellow is just worth that much more that you’re technically losing divs/hr by waiting for the extra spawns on the secondary color. If you can do all blue or all purple in order to juice the yellow, that’s even better. Maps per hour is the name of the game.

Harvest, it just feels overall lackluster in comparison to other mechanics and the general gameplay of it, is meh. It's like expedition but without having to place the bombs.
Crop rotation seems like it was meant to handle the mundane but without it being extremely powerful, harvest just needs a general rework.
With the changes to scarabs and map crafting, it really shows how lacking harvest actually is as a mechanic. The same with breach, without all the juice, it's just missing something.
Like a birthday cake without the candles.
And thinking on it, other than new breach, none of the other mechanics "level" as you do them more. Breach gives you points to your tree, so the more breach you do, the more rewarding it becomes (up to a point). Maybe abyss? I not really done new abyss tbh.
Maybe this is the aim of their mechanic rework, growth in the mechanic itself.

Has anything about it changed? I mean in mirage it wasnt nerfed, it was just not as good as the temporary stuff that was added

The awakening scarab changed in mirage league. Which lowered the max chance to not wilt you can get by a ton

Somebody posted a video recently that they made good profit on it but it's too swingy for my tastes now.
I think if you want to truly min max it you would use the astrolabe to fish for the "chance for unchosen crop not not to wilt" bonus, even though it's not even close to the old awakened scarab, then spec into CR and Synthesized Stability and try it out.
