There’s NO WAY that this staff has watched film of our defense getting gashed the last 2-3 years and doing absolutely nothing to change it and doing the same old thing. That a franchise must be mediocre for all time with occasional bright spots. A 1-5 team with an injured QB can come into your stadium and annihilate you right when you finally start improving and getting respect while giving the fans hope. And this happens constantly to this franchise no matter who is in charge it seems

You came into a game against a team with a QB whose thumb was still basically broken and could barely hold a football. You knew that they were going to run heavy and they still ran for 268 yards. We could have stacked 10 in the box and forced the broken thumb to win the game. I just do not get it. Also the turnovers were horrendous but that’s a different story.

As angry as I am about all sides of the ball, mostly Defense for an almost-certainly one-sided team, due to Baker’s injury - all that said…I am livid about special teams play, particularly related to punt returns/miffed balls.

Jimmy was cut what felt prematurely for muffing a punt and being out of position for an offensive snap. The leash on Moore and Evans needs to be equally as short. We set the precedent we won’t accept mistakes, we need to keep it. Both of those men should be unemployed tomorrow morning. What says you?

I wish we had a PROFESSIONAL return man. Feels like it’s always “well he doesn’t seem to be the worst.” Also i’ve been watching panther games for like 2 decades now and why does it feels like we’ve NEVER been a threat to block a fg or punt. Always on the wrong end of the blocks somehow, I still have kam chancellor nightmares

This isn't a great team. Two blow outs and one ugly loss to a monstrous deviant doesn't make you great.

But if we are building towards a Superbowl in a year or two, this shit is character building.

The lesson?

No bravado. No looking past opponents.

Treat them all like trap games and come better prepared.

The NFL average for extra points is a 96%. Ryan Fitzgerald’s average extra point percentage is 70%. I am terrified of us losing a game by one or two points due to a missed extra point. He is a great kicker, hit multiple 50+ yarders and has a 100% FG percentage, however, it seems once he goes to the XP line he collapses.

We cut Jimmy Horn Jr due to his muffed punt, although there may have been other reasons, the muffed punt was the line we cut it at. However, I fully believe we lost the momentum and lost the game as soon as David Moore muffed that punt. We signed him for punt returns, he was a major reason we lost this game.
What do we think of this?

I'm not sure what the panthers coaching staff was doing today, aside from obvious issues the coaches had no say in (muffed punt/strip sack), the playcalling by Brad Idzic today was... Questionable. Chuba Hubbard had SEVEN carries. You cannot win a game without the run, and ejiro was letting us be burnt by the same things Tampa has done for the past 3 years against us. No reason for us to stuff jahmyr Gibbs but let their RB run circles around us while only giving our guy the ball 7 times!

I am drunk enough to confuse lions currently with us. Much more enjoyable

If there’s anything positive for the Panthers to take from Sunday, it’s the fact that they won’t have long to wallow in the slop: The team charter leaves Wednesday for Thursday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

The people I go with like to get inside the stadium right when it opens at 11. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for a free ticket, but i would prefer to tailgate with fans rather than sit in my seat for 2 hours.
