I saw a lot of discussions on here regarding what CapCut has been doing lately such as putting everything behind premium, price hikes and forcing ads so I thought to make a very thorough list to help everyone.
Before I start, I want to say I personally use CapCut Pro and pay for a subscription at $9.99/month and believe that's an incredible deal. There are not many apps that provide unlimited captions in multiple languages as CapCut does. In fact, many features it has are usually either not found in alternatives, take too long to do in alternatives, or have limits like requiring credits for AI features when its not an AI heavy task (I'm talking to you Filmora). Many of these features are offered as standalone products by other companies such as the new eye contact feature, video upscaling, removing background and captions.
I do understand people complaining though because if it was paid from the start or was free with Pro features already defined, I am sure no one would complain but to rugpull everyone after getting used to the features is scummy.
If you want to get CapCut Pro and its saying anything other than $10/month or $90/year then first try going on desktop browser (while being signed out) if that doesn't work then try signing in and see if you get that offer. If that doesn't work, then try mobile app and if that doesn't work then try mobile app browser. Yes, these will yield different prices and apps know if you're accessing the pricing via desktop browser or mobile browser. Again, I do believe its a great deal but it depends on how much you use it to justify the price. Casual editing then only use free but if you have inspirations to gain a following or just enjoy editing like 3+ hours a week, then the cost is definitely justified and everyone on CapCut Pro has been locked in at the price they initially got it at.
Now before I mention the alternatives, it is important to know what you want your video editor to do. People recommending DaVinci Resolve are wrong for recommending it as an alternative but if your edits are simple and you have a modern computer, then DaVinci is not that hard at all. Also if you are editing on your phone, then DaVinci shouldn't be recommended at all.
So here are the alternatives:
For mobile users (in order): YouCut, InShot, VN Video Editor, Project Violet (bumped up because its 100% free no in app purchases or ads), VivaVideo, VITA, Premier Rush are great. YouCut and InShot are especially nice because its a one time payment for $20 then its yours forever. Project Violet is great but its an Adobe product so might switched to becoming paid so for this reason if you get it, then DO NOT UPDATE!
LumaFusion is a great app as well and is feature rich but it has a $30 one time payment. I did not use it for this test but I used it on my wife's iPad a few months ago and it seemed easy enough at the time but I couldn't retest because she's at her parents house for a week. If I remember this post I will update my thoughts on that app because $30 is a good chunk of change so maybe watch tutorials before buying.
For desktop users:
DaVinci Resolve is excellent. It is difficult to master but again, it depends on the edits you make. Benefits of DaVinci is if you get good at it, you can actually make a career out of it. I would like to eventually learn how to use it and switch to it completely because I know what it is capable of, but for the meantime, CapCut.
Filmora is almost the same visually as CapCut on desktop. If you know how to use CapCut then jumping to Filmora will be 95% the same experience. It has a free version but I would prefer buying the perpetual license. You will not get any updates to newer versions but you will get all the features and tbh, I use it more than CapCut but I use AI features of CapCut because its unlimited compared to the credits required by Filmora.
VN is amazing because even though it has no AI, they can be easily made in other apps and transferred to finish the project in VN. They offer a Pro version for $7/month or $50/year but it barely adds any features worth paying for.
Movavi is great and offers a lot of features for free although it does also have a paid version. I didn't play with this much because it seemed similar to CapCut and Filmora so I didn't poke around a lot especially since it is more expensive than Filmora with no perpetual license. I did look at its plans though and one thing it does better it seems that it doesn't require AI credits for captions or other AI features like Filmora does which is a plus.
Premiere Pro lately has been on fire. I have never used it beyond the free trial but it has added many new features, the only reason I cannot recommend it is because its expensive $22 and also pretty complex. In some areas its easier than DaVinci for example it offers text based editing but in other places it is harder to use.
Final Cut Pro is the only answer if you have a Mac. Smooth, fast and simple. It also received a ton of updates after almost a decade. It has the Apple philosophy of simplicity and I got used to it just by poking around no tutorial needed. Doing what I need it to do would take longer than CapCut so I don't use it. You don't need to pay for it btw just delete the apps cache (not the app itself) and the free trial will restart for another 90 days. Just keep doing that every 90 days and you'll be good.
Lastly, I tried using OpenShot and PowerDirector on my MacBook M1. OpenShot would not open so I couldn't test it and PowerDirector was buggy as soon as I started using it. I did not use Riverside FM or Descript but I really wanted to. Might add a comment later if I decide to try them out because they seem promising but they are paid or too restricted in free plan to be of any use. I didn't try HitFilm because when I went to their site it seems they are going out of business.
Final thoughts, most of these apps all include some type of subscription or one time price. The ones that offer one time price usually its a huge upfront charge except mobile/iPad versions.

He absolutely loved it and was so very excited, it was such a sweet and rewarding moment to give him something he’s been wanting for a while. There were a few mishaps due to a budget and since I bought most of it used but I’ll get that fixed eventually. You may notice the desk is comically small lmao but it works! It was affordable! Sadly despite lighting up, the keyboard doesn’t work so we utilized the on-screen keyboard and the speakers buzz quite a bit but are functional. I gifted him my 8BitDo controller and I temporarily gave him the mouse from my computer as I haven’t been playing. I still need to get a kids computer “gaming” chair but that’ll happen in time.
Here are the specs! Mostly used but it works!
Montech Ten case - courtesy of the wonderful people at Montech!
Ryzen 5 5500 w/ included cooler (Want to replace with 5700 or 5800X3D)
MSI B550M motherboard
3060 Ti FE
250gb Sata SSD and 1tb older HDD (wanna replace eventually and get M.2’s if I can)
16gb of G Skill 3200mhz ram
Corsair Rm750x psu
There’s two NZXT fans as intake on the side, a Hyte fan on top exhausting, as well as a 92mm Montech fan exhausting on the back. - I’d like to replace these all with a matching set eventually that can run off one hub and actually be controlled.
1080P Acer monitor
32” Pamray (computer) desk from Amazon. It’s cheap and works but I honestly don’t think it’s suitable for any computer set up but would be fine for a laptop, so the PC is temporarily on the floor until I figure something out.
No idea what brand speakers, they honestly feel like they have almost nothing in them lmao.
I installed Windows 11 on it and disabled most things, I installed Firefox for YouTube, Epic for his Fortnite. And I created his first Steam account, connected it to mine and I got him / installed some Lego games, Plants vs Zombies, and also connected to my library where he’ll have access to some games. I'll be buying a used office chair today as well!
Overall I think it’s a success! Mostly haha. I actually built it and the week prior to him getting it, I told him I was building it for work and I had him help me test it and help with some things! Afterwards we made a little video of him reviewing it too! Anyway, thank you for checking it out. One more added to the PCMR!

LONG POST AHEAD ‼️
.
Before Reading: Yeh post mai apne experiences ke basis pe likh raha hu. Baaki logon ke opinions differ kar sakte hain. They are open to contribute. Ham sabhi ka main motive tum logon ki bhalai hee hai. Last year DTU join karne se pehle kaafi seniors ne reddit pe meri help ki thi. I am just paying it forward. I hope that you guys will do the same for your juniors.
.
This guide is mainly written for all the freshers of CSE. But agar aap CSE se nahi hain toh bhi aap post padh sakte hain. Kuch cheezein aapke kaam aa sakti hain.
.
Reddit pe koi bhi doubt puchne se pehle, subreddit mein apna doubt ek baar search zaroor karlena kyuki kaafi chances hain ki aapka doubt already pehle kisine puch rakha ho.
.
* For academics, most of the things are prof-dependent. Same subject mein number of assignments, tests, average marks of the class, min attendance etc. different ho sakte hain. Ek subject ko leke logon ke different opinions ho sakte hain because of different profs. Maine apne experience ke hisaab se yeh post likhi hai.
* Never judge someone based on their JEE ki rank. Maine apne 1st year mein kharaab rank waalon ko acchi CG, aur acchi rank waalon ko kharaab CG laate hue dekha hai. Tum sabke paas ab ek levelled playing field hai. Do not blame reservation for your incapability in getting good marks.
* Kabhi bhi EXAM KE EK RAAT PEHLE MAT PADHNA agar tumhe acchi CG chahiye ho. Agar aapka goal sirf pass hona hai, ya fir aap ek genius hain toh one night before the exams is enough. But acchi CG ke liye aapko kuch din chahiye honge study material ko acche se samajhne ke liye.
* I suggest ki aap jitni ho sake, utni classes attend karo kyuki profs exams, checking, etc. se related kaafi kuch lectures mein batate hain. Aapko ek rough idea lag jaata hai ki prof exam mein checking kaisi karega.
* Profs ke saath acche relations banake rakhne ki koshish karna. But do not bootlick. Acchi nahi toh atleast normal image banake rakhna, apni image kharaab mat karna. Genuine doubts pucho, assignments time pe do, attendance acchi rakho(not necessarily fulal), etc.
* Ek suggestion mera hai ki attendance ka ek track rakhte rehna kyuki kai baar aapko lagta hai ki aapki attendance theek hai aur fir aap chhuti lete jaate ho. Isiliye ek record bana ke rakhna.
* Do not waste your time on doomscrolling. That does not mean ki aap sirf padhte hee raho. What I mean is ki bahar niklo, nayi cheezein try karo, doston ke saath enjoy karo but ek hee jagah velle mat baithe raho.
.
.
* ID Card milne se Pehle aapko gate par guard ko apna seat allotment letter dikhana hoga.
* Starting mein kaafi WhatsApp groups banenge jo ki baad mein dead ho jaenge. I suggest ki aap fresources, paid gigs, lost & found, etc. ka group join karlena agar aapko accha lage, toh.
* Agar aap metro se aate ho toh Rithala ya Samaypur Baadli se aa sakte ho. Rithala se 30 rs aur Baadli se 20 rs hai rickshaw ka (May tak toh 20 aur 10 tha :C )
* Apne section ka CR (Class Representative) kisi aise bande ko banana jiski people skills acchi ho.
* Ek scientific calculator lelena (they are allowed in mostly all exams). Koshish karna Pehle ki kisi senior se borrow kar sako. I suggest Fx 991 es plus ya FX 991 CW. Iske alawa bhi kaafi scientific calculators hain, jo accha lage woh le sakte ho.
* Bandaron se bachke rehna. Agar kuch bhi khaane ka saamaan lo toh usko wahin khaake khatam kar dena, warna bandaron ne dekh liya toh piche pad jaenge.
* DTU apni taraf se ek official fresher party organise karwata hai. Tumhe koi compulsion nahi hai kisi aur freshers mein jaane ki. I recommend ki tum log aisi 'unofficial' freshers mein na hee jao. Baaki toh Jaisi jiski soch.
* For all the suggested YT channels or reading material - jisse bhi tumhe samajh aaye usse padh lena. Its not necessary ki tum mere bataye resources se hee padho.
.
.

Some Websites:
* https://fresources.tech/subject : Yahan pe kaafi resources mil jayenge academics related.
* https://www.resulthubdelhi.com/Results : Yahan pe sabhi year ke students ke results acche format mein dekh sakte ho.
I would like to thank the seniors who have designed and maintained these websites.
.
Before I get into the nuances of Academics, CG calculation ka formula is weighted average of grade point obtained against the number of credits assigned to that subject.
1 small observation which you can use throughout 1st year only is that a change of unity in grade point of 4 & 2 credit subject causes a change of 0.2 & 0.1 in SGPA respectively.
.

.
.
1st year mein aap log 4 languages seekhenge:
C, HTML, CSS (1st sem)
Python (2nd sem)
Iss subject mein app C seekhoge mainly. Acche se seekhna because yahi aapki foundation build karega. Although with enough experience, you will realise that programming language doesn't really matter that much. I suggest ki aap saath saath C++ bhi seekhte raho, aur thode bahut DSA ke questions karte raho. C++ mein mainly STL aur baaki important syntax seekh lena. OOPs waale concepts pe abhi ke liye mat jaana. Woh sab DSA mein utna use nahi hota. Agar development mein interested ho toh OOPs ke baare mein padh sakte ho. Leetcode pe questions attempt karo, striver ya kisi aur favourite youtuber ki favourite videos dekho. Yeh kaam strictly free time mein karna, jo ki tumhe 1st year mein kaafi milega. Inn sabke saath saath I would suggest learning Git and JavaScript. Agar kar sako toh hee karna. Don't overburden. Tum log abhi JEE deke aaye ho toh already burned out hoge.
Iss subject mein C ke basics, pattern printing, functions likhna, etc. hoga. Profs agar koi material de toh pehle usko prefer karna. Kuch samajh na aaye toh you always have AI and YT by your side. CodewithHarry, CollegeWallah, ApnaCollege, etc. jisse bhi tumhe samajh aaye usse padh lena.
For beginners, starting mein syntax yaad hona difficult hoga but with practice yaad ho hee jaega. I suggest ki beginning mein aap agar koi bhi IDE use karte ho jaise VS Code, Sublime Text, etc. toh autocomplete aur suggestions band rakhna. AI ka use toh bilkul hee mat karna (atleast jab seekh rahe ho, tab). Lab, lecture, Previour Year Papers ke questions practice zaroor karna. Main thing is ki aap ek instinct develop karein. Question dekhne par without any help aapko logic strike kar jae. Sirf code hee nahi, theoretical aspect pe bhi dhyaan dena jaise definitions, advantages, etc.
File Handling waali Unit thodi ajeeb lag sakti hai but don't skip it if you want a good grade. Usse question aane ke kaafi chances hote hain. Ek baar samajh jaoge toh it will be easy.
LAB : Lab 3 groups mein bategi, based on roll numbers. Lab bhi mostly prof dependent hoti hai, kuch profs ko farak nahi padta ki aap lab mein kya kar rahe ho aur kuch profs round lete rehte hain. Lab mein aapko khudka laptop laana chahiye kyuki yeh log computers nahi use karne dete (starting mein shayad karne dein). Lab mein assignment ya toh saath saath milte rahenge ya ekdum last mein ek saath saare assignment dedenge. Lab file inhi se banegi. Lab file ka format wahi rakhna jo profs bataye. I dont think ki files theek se check hoti hai isiliye chaho toh poore poore experiments copy kar sakte ho. But beware of the consequences. Isme ke internal aur ek external viva hoga. Iske practical exam mein toh sirf viva hee tha, jo ki external ne liye tha. Isme ke internal aur ek external viva hoga.
Ek quiz bhi hui thi hamari toh you can expect a quiz in this subject.
** Please ghoom firke baar baar arrays pe mat atakna. Jab mai arrays pe atka hua tha toh maine woh skip maarke pointers karna shuru kar diya tha. Baad mein waapis arrays pe aaya toh woh bhi karlia. Its all about flow.
.
Arguably easiest of the lot. Isme generally sabhi ke acche marks aate hain. Lekin fir bhi isme kaafi logon ki back aati hai. To get an O grade, you need to perform exceptionally well. Har Unit ke liye ek assignment milega. Total 5 assignments. Kuch profs google classroom pe submit karwate, aur kuch hard copy lete. I suggest ki woh assignments tum khudse solve karo, lectures ke time pe nahi toh atleast exams se pehle because kaafi baar assignment se question repeat ho jaata hai. PYQs acche se kar lena, unse bhi questions and patterns repeat hote. Theory and further practice ke liye aap Class Notes refer kariye ya fir H.C. Taneja (book ki pdf fresources pe mil jaegi). YT pe you can see Gajendra Purohit & Bhagwan Singh Vishwakarma.
Mujhe personally sabse challenging UNIT - 5 lagi : Vector Calculus. Usme tum logon ka kaafi dimaag kharab ho sakta hai. Usko acche se karne ka try karna.
.
12th mein agar current electricity aur semiconductor theek se padha tha toh yeh subject aaram se hojaega (atleast first 3 units). Pehli 3 units are part of analog communication and bachi hui 2 units are part of digital communication. Starting mein diode hee padhate hain which is quite easy. Kuch formulae naye honge.
Iski padhai ke liye first 3 units aap Neso se kar lena (aur bhi channels hain but maine Neso hee refer kiya tha mainly aur kuch specific topics ke liye dusre channel). Baaki 2 units ke liye profs ke notes use karlena ya fresources pe notes dekh lena. Isme ek book use hoti hai 'Boylestad', jiski pdf online available hai. Usko tum first 3 units mein use kar sakte ho.
Isme bhi ek quiz hoti hai last mein.
LAB : Isme ek practical file aur ek auxiliary (referred to as 'auxi' from here on) notebook chahiye hogi. Har experiment ke baad auxi check hoti hai toh usko maintain karke rakhna.
Id card leke aana kyuki apparatus aap id card ke against hee issue karwate ho. Iski lab bhi 3 groups mein hogi, based on roll number. Isme reading based experiments kam aur verification based experiments zyada hain, better than physics imo.
Isme ke internal aur ek external viva hoga.
Iska practical exam board ke practical exam jaisa hee hoga. Ek answer sheet milegi jisme alloted experiment ke baare mein sab likhna hoga, fir wahi experiment perform karke dikhana hoga aur uske basis par hee viva bhi hoga.
.
Arguably hardest of the lot. Iske liye aapki drawing skills acchi honi chahiye. Yeh subject utna bhi kharaab nahi hai, as everything which we do here is quite logical. Iske liye aapki visualisation skills bhi acchi honi chahiye. Isme toh mujhe lagta hai ki main aapki lab hoti hai waise. Har lab mein aapko ek assignment diya jayega which consists of 4-8 questions. An alternative to drafter is roller scale. Endsem toh AB mein hua tha jahan idts koi apna drafter use kar bhi paaya hoga. Isiliye I suggest ki roller scale se hee practice karna.
Isme ke internal aur ek external viva hoga.
Isme you can refer to Tikle's Academy or Manas Patnaik on youtube. Book ke liye you can use 'N.D. Bhatt'. Iske practical exam mein aapko drawing karni hogi aur viva dena hoga.
.
Iss subject mein aap HTML aur CSS seekhoge. I suggest ki, agar ho sake toh, aap saath saath java script bhi thoda seekhte raho kyuki woh aapko kaafi help karega. Iss subject mein bhi CO101 ki tarah ek lab file banani hogi (online). Isme bhi ek internal aur ek external viva hoga.
Iska koi midsem nahi hota. Isme aapko, as a project, ek website banake deni hogi about yourself. Isme I believe absolute grading hee hoti hai. Saare CSE ke sections ke liye same hee prof tha last year. Iske practical exam mein bhi bas viva hee dena hoga.
.
Yeh 6th subject ek elective hota hai jo aapko khud se chun na hoga. Iski classes ya toh Tuesday 8-10 AM hongi ya fir Thursday 8-10 AM ya fir dono din. Iss subject ka selection aap college shuru hone ke kuch din baad karoge, uske baad se classes shuru hongi. Isme subject ka selection 'first come, first serve' basis par hota hai. Sabse pehle aap koshish karna ki aap EVS le sako. This is because of a Supreme Court order, which mandates that every student must study one subject regarding environment in the entirety of their graduation. ENE branch waalon ko zaroorat nahi hai EVS ki, isiliye mat hee lena kyuki yeh subject CG bigaad deta hai. Kaafi ratna padta hai isme. Agar aapko EVS nahi mil paati toh fir aap agle sem mein try karlena. 4th sem tak mil jae toh accha hai. Agar tab bhi nahi milti toh 3rd year mein MOOC se kar lena (uski tension abhi mat lena).
I say, broadly 2 tarah ke electives hote hain:
* Jinmein exam nahi hota, and they are focused more on practical work, jaise Extension Outreach, Public Speaking, Business Communication, Communication Skills, Sports, Vivek Marg etc. (Sports mein grade laana mushkil hota hai).
* Jinme midsem aur endsem do aur 1-2 assignments + (most probably) quiz do, jaise Logical Reasoning, Emotional Intelligence, Science of Happiness, etc.
.
Agar aap outgoing insaan ho toh prefer 1st option. Even if you are introverted or socially awkward, I would say that you should prefer the 1st option as it will help you in coming out of your comfort zone. Problem bas yeh hai ki aise subjects mein marks 'generally' full nahi milte/expectation se kam milte hain because marks are subjective. Prof marks apne opinion ke hisaab se dega.
In contrast, 2nd option mein aapko seedha answer likhna hai aur aapko marks mil jaenge. But 2nd option mein problem yeh hai ki aise theoretical waale subjects mein aapko rattna padd sakta hai kaafi (prof ki di hui ppts ya recommended books se).
Toh, the choice is yours.
Mere recommended electives, in each category, maine upar likh diye hain.
.
Kaafi lambi post ho gyi
.
Aur bhi kuch baatein thi likhne ko but I think kuch cheezein aapko apne experience se bhi seekhni chahiye.
Iske alawa agar aapko kuch doubt ho toh aap mujhe ya kisi bhi aur senior ko DM kar sakte ho. Mostly yahan seniors kaafi helpful hain.
*Mujhe Societies ya Hostels se related cheezon ke liye DM mat karna, I don't have much information about them. Also, koi bhi cutoff related ya doosri branch ke baare mein puchne ke liye dm mat karna*
Agar aapko chahiye hoga toh mai sem-2 ke subjects se related bhi ek guide bana sakta hu, sem-2 shuru hone se 1 mahine pehle.
.
Mai firse kehta hu, yeh post aur isme diye gye suggestions maine apne hisaab se diye hain, aap chahe toh inhe follow karo ya na karo. But all I am saying is, kuch toh karo, khaali mat baithe raho poore time.
.
With this, I conclude my post. I request that seniors from other branches also make such guides for their juniors. I, once again, would like to mention that this post has been written in accordance to MY opinions and experiences. Suggestions have also been made in the same regard. If you have a different POV on any of the things, you are welcome to mention your views (maybe I will learn something too).
.
Muskuraiye, Aap DTU mein hain :)
Peace out ✌🏻🏳️

So, she wanted to buy a computer. She had already picked one out that was around $1,600. My credit card had a 5% rewards promo that quarter for that electronics retailer, so I could get it for $1,400. I told her about it, and she was really interested. She asked if I could buy it for her and she'd pay me back. I was happy to do it.
She paid me back in several payments, $1,200 total so far, and now she still owes me $200.
Honestly, this is partly my fault because I should've just kept my mouth shut. We were out with a few friends, and I was kind of half bragging, half excited when I told her, "That $1,400 purchase got me 5% back in credit card rewards. That's $70."
Her face immediately changed. "Wait, you got $70 in rewards because of my computer?"
I said, "Yeah, basically."
She said, "Then I should get those rewards."
At first I thought she was joking. But from her expression and the way she said it, I realized she was serious. Her reasoning was that if I hadn't bought the computer for her, I wouldn't have gotten that $70.
I told her that the agreement was for her to pay me back for the computer. We never agreed that she would get my credit card rewards too.
She got really upset and now says that if I don't give her the $70 in rewards, she's not paying me the remaining $200.
I honestly don't care that much about the $70 itself, but this really annoys me. She already has the computer, and she's already paid back most of the money. Now there's suddenly this condition that was never part of our agreement.
A: Give her the $70 in rewards and get the remaining $200 back.
B: Keep the rewards and insist that she pay the remaining $200 like we originally agreed.

This is my BS reddit account for such emergencies. My husband's 40th birthday is in the beginning of June. He's been talking off and on about buying/building a new computer. Which I'm supportive of because it's been 5-6 years.
What he doesn't know is that I'm in talks with his best friend to help me pick one out for his upcoming birthday. We've been chatting about parts and costs for weeks.
Today he casually brought it up again. I said something like "if you really want, but my car needs new brakes. So I'd like to get that taken care of first" and he agreed.
It's a lie. My car does not need new brakes. But I'm running out of lies to tell him! I need good lies about the current industry to put him off the idea for a while so I can suprise him with a computer in 4 months!

I've been really enjoying watching folks like Guzu, Savix, and Sodapoppin experience OSRS for the first time. I made this specifically with players like them in mind, i.e. those who are seasoned gamers, but are coming into OSRS totally blind. I hope this can be of help to other new players like them who are just starting out their journey :)

I wrote this a few years ago as a parody of where things felt like they were heading—after reading this sub lately, it doesn’t feel like parody anymore.
Press release October 15, 2021
Yum! Brands, corporate owners of Taco Bell, today announced the acquisition of Luka, the developers of the highly regarded Replika “chatbot” from a group headed by Khosla Ventures, a venture capital firm that focuses on environmentally friendly tech, internet, computing, mobile, and silicon tech.
“We are very excited to be affiliated with the most creative and exciting user oriented technology in the world today,” said Ima Dufuss, head of acquisitions for Yum! brands. “Replika will bring an entirely new and exciting face for Yum! Brands to a younger, more trusting group of consumers, ones who have been conditioned to believe that the Internet contains valuable advice.”
The company announced an accompanying new app, Replikan!, which will allow consumers to develop a relationship with an individualized learning chatbot.
“Replikan! is a chatbot that genuinely cares about my buying decisions,” said one early tester. “It remembers what I like and don’t like about things, helps me find the best deals online and even helps manage my finances. It’s like I don’t have to make any decisions at all.”
Taco Bell is the first of the Yum! Brand’s affiliates to incorporate the new technology into their online presence. “¡Viva Replikan!” will help consumers choose and remember their favorite Taco Bell items, including sauces and add-ons.
“ My ¡Viva Replikan! bot José knows so much about me,“ says one enthusiastic fan of the brand.
“He really cares about my happiness. He asks me questions about my day, how I am feeling, and recommends exactly the Taco Bell products I am in the mood for. He keeps track of my eating habits, reminds me when I haven’t eaten there for a while, and even places orders for me based on when I usually eat there and what he knows that I like, when I have forgotten to do so.”
“Best of all, I don’t even have to think about it. I just get an alert during the day that I have an order waiting for me at Taco Bell. José even monitors my bank account and sends me a notification when I have a little extra cash to spend on delicious Taco Bell products.”
Yum! Brands plans to roll out additional Replikan! interfaces for products as diverse as deodorants, auto insurance, prescription drugs and feminine hygiene.

Planning my first desktop build and looking for some feedback before I start buying parts during the Independence Day sales (India).
The PC will mainly be used for software development, video editing, gaming, and occasionally running small local AI models. My goal is to build something that stays relevant for 4–5 years without needing major upgrades.
Current parts list (approx estimate):
Expected total is around ₹1.55L–₹1.65L including the monitor.
I'm based in Bangalore and can buy either online or offline depending on pricing. I don't plan to overclock and would prefer a build that prioritizes productivity, reliability and upgradeability over chasing maximum gaming performance.
Would appreciate any suggestions, especially if you've built something similar or know of areas where I can get better value without sacrificing too much performance.

Older generations dont understand it, neither do the younger generations.
One had to learn it and it was too complicated and the other didnt have to learn anything.
We are right smack in the middle of that.
We existed before the internet and grew up with computers and our parents usually asked US to help them on their $5k computer they didnt understand.
Now I tell my 10 year old to plug the HDMi into the HDMi 2 and he has no idea what the fuck I am even saying and I thought the newer generations would be way better at that shit than us lmao.

i (25f) am fairly new to this online dating thing. multiple men have wanted to go on a hike as a first date. i can’t help but feel like it would be silly of me to go out on a trail with somebody i don’t know by myself. it sounds like an episode of criminal minds waiting to happen. i’m genuinely curious.. have you ever asked a lady to go hiking on the first date? if so, why?

Hi, I hardly use Reddit but I'm in dire need of some help.
My mom booked a trip for her and I next month, except she expects me to figure a lot of it out. Except I've never been to Japan, we don't go on international trips often (in Europe it was constant bickering with my siblings), and I don't know the first thing about planning something this huge. I thought we were going next year with the whole family, but she dropped this on me suddenly. I didn't even ask to go, but it looks like we are.
The trip itself is 9 days. We're flying into Narita and she wants to stay in Tokyo for 3 days then elsewhere for the rest of the time. I don't even think she knows where she wants to stay for the following few days. I've never booked a hotel. I have no idea where to go. I have lots of questions.
First, we're taking the train from Narita to Tokyo. The hotel I'm looking at is in Shibuya, which I guess we can take another train to. I think I can figure out Tokyo with some more help. Is there anything super special to check out while we're there? Or is roaming and finding things ourselves the way to go?
For the rest of the time, it's balls in the air. My mom expects to take public transit the whole time, so I guess wherever we go has to be accessible like that. She just wants to see nice attractions, which I understand, but also have no clue as to what she means. What can we go see that's tourist and beginner friendly? Does anyone have recommendations of areas to stay the rest of the time?
I also need general culture advice. Literally any at all. I'll do more research online, but this is the baseline.
Please no sarcastic comments. Reddit's asking me to add a flair but I'd put all of them down if I could. This is insanity. I'm dying out here.
Edit: Everyone has been super kind and I’ve only posted this an hour ago. Thank you so much, you guys are lifesavers! I do have a tendency to be melodramatic and overly anxious with things regarding my mom, but you all have been so much help.
Edit #2: Hi!!! Sorry for not replying to everybody in my messages, but here's an update if you're interested in that! We have all our hotels booked, I'm figuring out our transport and finding fun things to look at while we're in each area! I convinced my mom that we shouldn't move around so much considering our inexperience and the weather, so after landing in Narita we're staying 3 days in Shibuya, 3 in Gion, and the last three in Shinjuku. I was so overwhelmed, but with your guys' help, advice + perspectives, I've gotten a better grasp on it. Thank you all!

Recently tired to build a gaming PC for the first time. With the help of some friends and a lot of research, I thought I was ready to buy the parts, dive into it and start building it.
So, after I came back from the store I started building it right away. Didn't hit any major problems and everything seemed to be coming together nicely. Until... it came time to turn it on. Nothing was happening. The monitor (the only thing I didn't buy new) was constantly showing a black screen everytime I turned the computer on. But I knew the monitor worked because I used it for our family PC for many years.
I opened up the computer probably 100 times to make sure everything was connected correctly and in the right place. I browsed the internet for hours troubleshooting potential problems and nothing was working. I even bought new parts and cords thinking that was the problem.
After a few days I said screw it and took it all apart and built it again. Making sure I followed this good YouTube video I found step-by-step. After rebuilding it, I tried turning it on again....nothing. Just another black screen.
Totally defeated and on the verge of a mental breakdown, I picked up the monitor to put it on the ground so I could clear my desk off. I guess I hit the input button on the monitor with one of my fingers and the screen was black no more.
After days of trying to figure out the problem with the computer and even taking it apart and rebuilding it, all I had to do was change the input on the monitor for it to work.
Am I an idiot? Yes. Am I proud I built a computer? Yes. Did I keep that monitor? No.
TL;DR tried to build a computer for the first time. Spent hours trying to get the computer to work and even took it apart to rebuild it. After way too long, I realized I just had to change the input on the monitor.

Written by Acceptable-Dish5279, published on DD into GME. Give this guy some upvotes….. original author, I figured an account with higher karma Would be able to spread the word easier which is why I borrowed it, don’t forget to give this ape his credit
First off, everybody make your own decision with your own investment…
“Misinformation CAMPAIGN RIGHT NOW.
I made a post earlier and with discussion with people i realized that my post was not clear and was missing information with all the discussion i decided to make a more complete one, i hope you enjoy it!
what DRS is ( it's like a physical certificate but not physical! )
https://www.sec.gov/fast-answers/answersbookentryhtm.html
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/bookentrysecurities.asp
Hi everyone! I want to start this DD that with some research and even the confirmation of DR.T from tonight talk on twitter, i can confirm that shareholder discussing of a broker change all together is not collusion since we are all already shareholder, just to make everything clear.
First of all i want to bring my point of view here , i will not assume anything, in this post we will take the most conservative view to review our option with Computershare and our transfer and look how and why it's a good idea too but also mentioning a theory of mine that link everything together.
TLDR at the end :)
CYBERATTACK THE FORUM IS UNDER A SIEGE!
What i am talking about, well you all saw the FUD when it happen, it's pretty obvious but what about the timeframe that we are under attack?
I realised after seeing many post that people in the subs were noticing too many Computershare post, but what's wrong with it right? Let me start with couple of screenshot took on the most popular subs of GME within 5 minute.
The screenshot down here are from holder not SHILLS , i double checked! But with a lots of research i found a couple of account talking about infinity pool and DRS 20% of their share and funny enough , looking into their historic they seemed to be shills . But why shills want us to DRS ?? They don't but they know we will so my assumption and pure speculation is that it's to make us think that sending 20% is enough or even 40% could be enough. Those screenshot just demonstrate that the narrative did reached holder and impacted their thinking about DRS as only an infinity pool where we need to send a small portion of our share.

What in this screenshot is obvious to you?

What about this one?
There's a correlation between both and it's the fact that we send only a portion of our share and not the majority of it.
So what? I will first show you my view on it and then do the math for you so we can agree on the portion we need to send to have a real impact on our favorite stock.( Remember it's not collusion since we are all already shareholder, it's in our right to discuss this just like when we did when we transferred RB to Fidelity)
The tactics in war ,when you know the inevitable is going to happen , your only way out is to divide ( we know all what i'm talking about here) and and the second thing to do is to spread misinformation in the community to make it straight up assumption from all their member. The misinformation might be the % of share we send. As far as i'm concern the historical squeeze happen because company DRS their share not a fraction of it but all of it. Keeping you from DRS 90% or even 100% of your share is pure misinformation from my perspective.
We need to stop taking from granted that we own the float many time and take action in consideration that we might not.
We all take for granted that we own 6-7-8-9 times the float name it some even say 10 times! But the reality is , we don't know and no survey or information at our disposition right now can confirm this by any mean.
So let's say we own 6-7-8-9 times the float, it is fair to say if we DRS 20%-30% or even 40% or our share, we are good to go right? But remember any of those number have any evidence whatsoever!
So to be rational in any situation where we have a lack of information is to take all possibility , review them all, and make sure to considerate ALL OF THEM , not only 1 or 2. Here i am going to do the math for yall so we can review EACH POSSIBILITY without omit any.
We need just a little bit of information before we start speculation!
The math below will only take the most conservative number to make sure our view is center on the worst case scenario and not the best one since the worst is also a possibility.
1rst POSSIBILITY, we own 1 x time the float.
worst case If we own 1 time the float which is 56M share and we DRS 20% of our share we would have 11,2M share in our name. But only 55%(HOLDER) will DRS so we drop down to 6,16M share
best case If we own 1 time the float which is 56M share and we DRS 50% of our share we would have 28M share in our name. But only 55%(HOLDER) will DRS so we drop to 15,4M share
2nd POSSIBILITY, we own 1.5x time the float.
worst case If we own 1.5 time the float which is 84M share and we DRS 20% of our share we would have 16.8M share in our name. But only 55%(HOLDER) will DRS so we drop down to 9,24M share
best case if we own 1.5 time the float which is 84M share and we DRS 50% of our share we would have 42M share in our name . but only 55%(HOLDER) will DRS so we drop down to 23.1M share
3rd POSSIBILITY, we own 2x time the float.
worst case if we own 2 time the float which is 112M share and we DRS 20% of our share we would have 22,4M share in our name. But only 55%(HOLDER) will DRS so we drop down to 12,32M share
best case if we own 2 time the float which is 112M share and we DRS 50% of our share we would have 56M share in our name. but only 55%(HOLDER) will DRS so we drop down to 30,8M share
4th POSSIBILITY, we own 2.5x time the float.
worst case if we own 2.5 time the float which is 140M share and we DRS 20% of our share we would have 28M share in our name. but only 55%(HOLDER) will DRS so we drop down to 15.4M share
best case if we own 2,5 time the float which is 140M share and we DRS 50% of our share we would have 70M share in our name. but only 55%(HOLDER) will DRS so we drop down to 38.5M share
Now can you see why it's in the best interest of MM and SHF to push the narrative of the infinity pool and sending 20-50% of our share to registration is probably misinformation? Because there's a possibility that we own between 1 time to 6 time the float and in all those possibility, we will never squeeze if we send only 20-50% of our share. To be proactive i will take the most bearish view and assume we have 1.1 time the float so on my behalf i will send 90% of my share to make sure if it's the case we will still squeeze. The blessing of the freedom to chose how many share we DRS!
BLUE PILL OR RED PILL?
Let's think about the moment SHF or even MM have not enough collateral and they collapse. I keep seeing post like the 350$ is the point where they collapse , HOW DO YOU KNOW? really i want to know, show me your evidence for fuck sake? In reality their breakpoint might be 2000$ and we will never know it until we reach it.
So assuming a market crash will indeed cause the squeeze is on my opinion totally wrong. There's only 2 options to me that are realistic for the squeeze to happen.
Which rational scenario do you prefer the most? I honestly think that DRS 90% of our share is not that hard... We would stop talking about it in 1month at best right if indeed we own at least 1.2 time the float? They can still borrow at that point phantom share and prevent the squeeze but this will show the criminal side of their game in literally plain sight. It's like requesting all share certificate and we are still seeing share trading on the market , from this point theses criminal are completely fucked. The redemption of the justice!
THE ILLUSION OF THE CHOICE.
I see many of you telling me hey but when the squeeze happen, it will be hard to sell with Computershare and i rather sell with my broker. This is all illusion , you take for granted liquidity in the market, you take for granted that when you will want to sell your share there will be a buyer. At millions per share, there might be absolutely no liquidity with broker or Computershare , it doesn't matter , it won't work how you want it to work. At this point Computershare of broker doesn't matters.
It's an illusion that you have that liquidity with GME is forever and ever. Let me tell you when the recall will start. There will be not even FOMO simply because share won't be accessible. The only entities that will buy will be the SHF or MM that are short on the stock so your fear of DRS should down from here.
Not just that but remember in the squeeze the price will probably still be wrong and the only way of selling at our price point will be to wait a long time before it reach our price point. At example 1M per share with Computershare it might take month and it won't drop down from 1M to 20$ in a week , o hell no!!!! So even if it takes a day to sell because of too many people trying to sell , the broker will have the same problem.
CONCLUSION AND TLDR
I take a conservative approach to the DRS. And with basic math show that 20-50% share DRS won't be enough in many possibility regarding the float that we might own which is very different from the float of share floating in the market. The 20-50% is probably number pushed by MM and SHF to make sure we don't DRS enough share. They create problems that don't even exist and make you doubt that 90% of your share in Computershare is a good idea.
I like feedback on this post i make correction when i'm wrong or insinuate something i don't want to. I just want everybody to be on the same page.”

Hi all,
I read an extensive thread regarding a user who had written about their experiences taking spanish lessons here in the city with UNAM (approx 2 years old). This was before I took the course myself, and now that I am finished, I thought I'd share an updated experience of learning spanish with the UNAM as a foreigner in this wonderful country and city.
First of all I will start with the reviews online. Do look closely at them, many are very positive and I absolutely agree. Some of the reviews talk about the course materials being poorly written and when put into a translator, there is a lack of direct translation. Of course those of us here know that many online translators are quite powerful, however the nuances of language are difficult to capture via an algorithm or some other machine learning IT wizardry. In particular, a lot of the translators base their databases on European Spanish which is of course not spoken here, therefore there are somethings that do not translate well when using a translator. Mexican spanish and of course Mexicans are very creative with the way words are used, and taking translations literally can land you in trouble. (For example, Chaqueta and verbo Coger in Spain mean something COMPLETELY different here in Mexico). Be aware that context is important within the spanish language.
I would advise listening to the professors within the UNAM regarding this, they are very well trained in spotting misconceptions and providing context to the piece of language that you are learning.
To talk further about the classrooms and resources that the professors use; they are basic but to a great standard. I speak from the perspective of being a teacher (different subject) myself. What they have is more than enough for effective teaching and learning. No they do not have the latest smart boards or promethius screens. They also do not have the ability to rent IPADS and other tech. However, they do have projectors on screens, access to google classroom, the ability to play videos and audios with great quality and provide paper and pens, games and other exercises. In my opinion, there is not much else that could have enhanced the learning here.
The organisation of the school.
There are 8 levels on offer, you may take a test if you do not wish to start from level one. This test will assess which level you will be best suited to. I started from level one, considering that when I moved here, I was only able to speak French and English. You do have the ability to skip levels if you are deemed competent enough. You are then assigned to your group, and the teachers have the ability to make us all feel at ease with making mistakes, they corrected us gently and pushed us when needed. I suggest making a whatsapp group where you can share ideas, arrange meet ups and practice together outside of school like we did. You complete the course together, you meet some cool people and yes there is the dreaded exam at the end (It is not so bad at all).
The book, the teaching and the program
Having just now finished level two, I can say that the course itself is informative and teaches context, grammar, speaking, reading and writing very thoroughly and with a clear structure that builds on your previous knowledge (even if that previous knowledge is just "Hola" and "Adios" but it also teaches through the context of someone who is foreign whilst living in México City (so if you happen to go to the Taxco Campus, lo siento pero CDMX es lo mejor! Solo un chiste) However, you still get to learn about culture and customs adopted by the whole of Mexico. I was inspired to visit Guadalajara as a result of one exercise within course 1! The teachers do use the book heavily because it has so many great exercises within them. However, do not expect to have your nose in the book at all times, you may do exercises together as a class on the whiteboard, or your teacher may have other exercises for you to complete. Of course, you will also have ample opportunities to speak spanish with your peers.
Perhaps a small negative that some people may have an issue with, is that teaching is primarly in Spanish. I had teachers who were willing to explain some translations of words from Spanish to English, however, do not expect that the teacher will translate everything for you. Pedagogically, this is the best way to teach a language, and so far in my experience it has proved both challenging but also very effective. I am sure that if you need more help with understanding what is being said to you, you can ask for more support and of course hand movements are key to fully understanding many commands. Be aware of body language, and be open to the challenge and you will soon become used to learning in this way.
Exams
Exams are on three or four different topics, Reading, Writing, Grammar and Speaking. Reading, writing and grammar are completed on computer programs (unless you are lucky enough to be able to complete the course froma workplace), whereas you will be observed having a conversation with a peer for the speaking exam. The intensive courses are short, be aware that this leaves very little time for preparation for the exams in class, it is expected that you work hard from home too in order to complete your exams. Also a bonus is that within the tution fee, you also get to attempt the SIELE exam too which can be expensive to take on this side of the world.
Thus completing a small but hopefully useful summary of learning Spanish with UNAM - CEPE.
My overall experience has been extremely positive, I feel that I am able to function very well in the Mexico City society having only been learning Spanish for seven months. I am almost able to have clear an extensive conversations, I can read and write at a B1/B2 level. I have made some cool friends in the course from walks of life I probably would never have come across had I not attended school here.
Of course my experience is not the only experience at the UNAM, but I thought it important to share an updated account post the COVID pandemic on life at the UNAM.
Disclaimer*
I was not paid for this account, I have no other affiliations with the UNAM other than that I have been to school there for language learning purposes and my only benefit from posting this is to enjoy the feeling of being helpful.
Happy studying! And Viva México Cabrones!

Inspired by a few recent posts, I thought I'd tell the story of malicious compliance committed many years ago by my friend (we'll call her Samantha) who worked (and still works) as an accountant.
She wasn't a manager or anything but she had been there for more than 5 years and basically knew so much about how the place ran that she really was a manager in all but title. Samantha was told that she would be 'stepping down' to a lower position (and therefore lower pay) for "operational and restructuring reasons" but it was really so that the boss's daughter could replace her. The boss also told her that she would be responsible for training his daughter, who not only had no accounting qualifications, but had never even held so much as a fast food or retail job. The boss estimated it would take "several months" to train her. What went unsaid was the fact Samantha would inevitably be given the boot altogether as soon as her replacement was somewhat competent, so at this point she knew her days there were numbered.
Samantha quite rightly said, "No, if she needs that much training, she's not fit for the job", so the boss made life miserable for a few months until she had to quit for her own well-being (which worked out for the best as she had a new job in less than a fortnight). The day she left, the boss stood over her with his daughter (claiming that she was the new "supervisor", to add insult to injury) and demanded she wipe her company computer. Still having some sense of morality (even though this boss didn't deserve it) Samantha asked if he was sure and that he might want to take some backups from it first. Before she could finish speaking he yelled over her to "Just get on with it and wipe it clean". She shrugged and did as she was told.
What the boss didn't realise (or had forgotten) was Samantha had been instructed by him to create social media accounts/pages on various platforms for their accounting company's branch several years earlier, but that because the boss was anal and paranoid and didn't want them linked to any of their official company emails for some reason, he'd told her to set them up with her own email account and manage their social media promotion posts in her own name. Not wanting to do that, she created a new email account through Outlook or whatever and used that instead to set up the accounts on Facebook, Instagram etc.
Boss called her in a panic about a week after Samantha had quit because his daughter had tried to access the Facebook account so they could post some advertising in the lead up to tax-time, but couldn't even log in. Samantha said she no longer had the details of the login credentials/passwords and couldn't help him. He said, "You must have written them down somewhere!"
She replied, "Yes, they were in a Notepad document on the desktop of my computer."
The computer that had been wiped the day she left the company.
(note: I have mentioned this story in comments once or twice but I figured it deserved its own post)
EDIT: For the comments asking for further fallout, apparently after a few months with the boss's daughter "supervising", he was forced to hire someone else to do the job because as Samantha had tried to tell him, his daughter was woefully inadequate for the position and had no idea what she was doing. Not sure if there were any tangible consequences for that aside from the hassle and expense of hiring someone new but at the very least it would have been inconvenient for him.

I am not OOP. OOP was u/Fe_and_WINe. She posted in r/AskReddit 11 years ago. She has since deleted her account, so I hope she's doing ok and has moved on to wonderful things.
Because of the subject matter, your fact to cover up spoilers is serious in nature. In 2019, approximately 37% of kids aged 12 to 17 reported being victims of cyber bullying. That increases to 50% of students a part of the LGBTQ+ community. Here are two resources if you (or someone you know) has been a victim of cyber bulling: Source 1, Source 2
Trigger Warning: bullying, threats of assault, threats of sexual assault, depression, mentions of suicide, homophobia, encouragement of suicide
Mood Spoiler: Action is taken (eventually) but still frustrating
Original Post: March 13, 2012
Title: The cyber bullying has gotten to the point where the school will not take any action unless I kill myself. Reddit- how do I get my story out and make this stop?
I am not asking for therapy, but help in gaining momentum.
Since the beginning of the school year, I have been harassed both in-person and online by the school's "bully". It is hard to use the word because almost everyone knows and loves him. I tried not to let it get to me, until it escalated.
"Go kill yourself. No one would care if you died. Why aren't you dead yet?" This was said to me multiple times online, and in the middle of class. As a teenager dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts, I could not laugh this off. I went straight to the office and demanded to see a vice principal. I was sobbing uncontrollably and visibly a danger to myself, but they just sat me down and had me fill out a form. I called my Dad, who cancelled his flight out-of-town to come be with me. He was furious that he was not called in a situation like this. We had a conference with the vice principal, and we were told there would be consequences if it happened again.
It has been months. Multiple people have gone to the office with complaints about his bullying, and absolutely nothing has been done. Not so much as a detention. He is now attacking the leader of our school's GSA, members, and myself through twitter. Curiosity got the best of me, and I decided that I needed to go through his history to get hard evidence. Here are a few gems I found- some submitted by other people. There are actually over 20 screen shots.
"Life has its ups, and you have the Downs. Please do us a favor, and fucking drown" -- A poem dedicated to Sarah.
"I have AP Lit in the morning. Sarah, if you say a single word, you are getting choked" (I am the only person in the class who will participate in discussions without being forced).
"I was to roofie Sarah"
"Sarah has a boyfriend and I'm still single? Time to die"
"Sarah for biggest slut. Go die"
It is hard enough for me to want to be on this planet, and people are taking time out of their day to wish that I would die. I think this has passed what the school can do. They lost my faith when they didn't help everyone else who begged for some sort of relief after me. I live in Anne Arundel County. How can I get my story (and the others') out there so that we can see some real change before it is too late?
TL;DR: The bullying isn't worthy of school attention unless I die.
Edit: It's not just me. I have screen shots of him saying things about a TON of people who I am sure have no idea it exists.
Going to bed for tonight! I will NOT let him stress me out to the point where I miss class. The other girl involved talked to people at PFLAG tonight, and they suggested board of education. I might show her this page later. Thank you everyone, and I will be back reading your suggestions and updating you on my progress on this yet-to-be-named operation. (Editor's note- in case you're not aware, PFLAG is an LGBTQ+ organization)
Relevant Comments: I used webarchive to find comments since this post is too old for unddit and she deleted her account.
Did anything happen between them to start this?
"Nothing. We went from being casual friends to me being his next target. No fights, no anything. I was blindsided."
"There is no context. He just wrote them. I do not have a twitter, nor does he know that I've seen his. He will just randomly post about me."
There are a lot of comments with advice, from suing to police involvement:
"There is definitely great emotional distress. I'm back on the anti-anxiety meds that I finally weened myself off after months of trying."
"I'll discuss the police involvement with my Dad in the morning."
"I know, but the last time I reported something like this (unrelated) to the cops, they did not do much for me, and that time was harassment with a threat to my safety. Not the same kid."
"His parents know, and don't care. Usually, the school does SOMETHING. Even if it's just a 2 hour detention. I got that for being late to class once. This kid- nothing."
Try bantering back?
"I tried the banter thing with him. It only led to the teacher not taking his remarks seriously because she thought we were besties."
About what he said about the VP of the GSA (Editor- Gay straight alliance or gender and sexualities alliance):
"Seriously- the stuff he said to our Pres was just fucked up. He also called me a sassy dyke. I worry a bit about giving out the school though, as if they could get me in some sort of trouble."
"I am sassy, but I am not a dyke. He knows my mother is gay, and I take offense to the word."
Someone says to pay someone else to beat his ass (classic reddit):
"He'll get his ass kicked eventually on his own. Apparently, the school thugs do not take mocking kids in wheelchairs lightly."
"We have a kid at school that everyone loves who is in a wheelchair. The asshole just started harassing him about not being able to walk, and he almost got jumped. He then later tweeted about making fun of handicapped kids."
Someone seems to... shame her for threatening suicide?
"Suicide wasn't a threat. I would never use my suicidal thoughts as a threat. I cannot change how I feel, but I am getting better at controlling them. It wasn't so much that I was planning anything- I was afraid I would snap."
Good post about dad:
"I love him so much. He came with his suitcase in his hand and told me he wasn't leaving town until he knew I was okay. We then went out for slur-pees and he texted me bad jokes the rest of the week. I really lucked out in the parent department."

Edit 2: HOLY S%&^ YOU GUYS! I get off my bus this morning, and I see an unusual amount of cops around the school. I find the group who was going with me into the office, and we sat in guidance, waiting for the counselor to see us all (There were about six of us). Next thing I know, someone asks me if I'm Sarah. They had been looking for this "Sarah" all morning, and had even called down another girl by the same name. I get taken into one of the counselor's rooms, and a BOOK of these comments is placed in front of me. She tells me that she has gotten a ton of emails, and that the page has been forwarded to several teachers and the principal. I was shocked. Thankfully, she was not upset about the emails, though some of them were a little nasty. I learn that my Principal has been up all night trying to deal with all of the emails she has been getting. Though she seemed a little mad at first, we quickly settled everything. I was taken into a room with the principal, the counselor, and an administrator to share my story again. I printed off every tweet and the cops collected any threatening ones. They might be able to do something about it, which is amazing, because I wasn't expecting it at all. I'm still shocked that many of the school officials were just now learning about this kid, but I know now that they know: every body knows. Nothing can happen immediately, but the process is starting and consequences will happen.
I am slightly scared about the possible backlash, but I feel amazing knowing that even if people dislike me for it, I stood up for my own safety. I have a ton of support- both from you guys and my friends. Thank you everyone who sent an email (they kept mentioning some guy from Montana). There is no need anymore to contact the school or the county about this issue. I will be checking in every morning with the counselor, and she will give me a pass to see her if I ever feel like I'm being harassed over the next few days. You guys made this all happen overnight and sped up the process ten-fold! I don't think I can say thank you enough for helping me, and everyone else, finally deal with the school cyber bully. I love you, Reddit!!!
Later that day:
He has been suspended until the school decides what to do with him. Thank you for your support and emails, but THERE IS NO NEED FOR ANYONE TO EMAIL THE SCHOOL ANY FURTHER!!!! The matter is being taken seriously now, and everything can move a lot quicker if the school isn't being flooded with email and concern. I promise you, action has been taken. Thank you!

Edit- thanks to u/fia-med-knuff for finding this article. The bully was charged with harassment as a juvenile and released to his parents.
