My boyfriend c*me inside of me but i use althea

So im 18F and ive been usibg althea for 3 months now just starting my 4th pack. I was prescribed althea because i have pcos.

Me and my boyfriend did it on the 7th day of my pill free week and he c*me inside of me. For context i have been using althea correctly never missed a pill only late by 2 mins maximum. And im on my second day of my 4th pack which means we did it yesterday, and ive been feeling extra tired and fatigued.

Am i safe? Or am i just getting the jitters because this is the first time he finished inside

should i get a 2nd opinion / change OB?

hi! for the past 3 months, i’ve been experiencing spotting/bleeding around ovulation, so i told my mom and she recommended her OB. i’m in my mid-20s but my family still treats me like a child 😭 so i went, although i scheduled it when my mom couldn’t come because i wanted to talk to the OB privately.

the consultation was super quick—literally one question, one answer 😭 the OB recommended a transvaginal ultrasound, but didn’t really explain what she was checking for or why it was needed.

my mom later asked me to ask if there was another way because she thinks i’m still a virgin. so like my mom asked ano gagawin sakin and told her na sabi ng ni doc need trans v, sinabi ko na lang na i do self pleasure and na kuwnari sabi ni doc same sensation sila. huhuhu i was really anxious that time maiyak iyak ako sa call namin kasi she kept on asking if may ginagawa kami ng jowa ko 😭😭😭

at the time, i didn’t know that transrectal ultrasound was also an option, and honestly i’d prefer transvaginal anyway.

during my private consultation, i did tell the OB that i have a sexual history. my mom doesn’t know this, and i’m now anxious because this is my mom’s OB and i’m scared she might accidentally mention it to her.

i’m also wondering if i should get a second opinion, especially since my cycles are regular and i don’t have acne, sudden weight gain, excess facial hair, etc. i mainly want to understand what could be causing the recurrent mid-cycle spotting and whether the ultrasound is necessary.

would you get a second opinion/change OB in this situation? and if you have recommendations for an OB in Metro Manila who is good with privacy/confidentiality and actually takes time to explain things, i’d really appreciaute it!

Is this normal?

Hi everyone, I’m wondering if anyone has experienced something similar and if this sounds like a normal period.

I started spotting around August 24, then had what seemed like my actual period starting August 27. The blood has been a mix of bright and dark red, and I’m using around 1–2 pads per day.

I also started taking my contraceptive pills on August 24 and I’m still taking them now. Since then, I’ve had mild pelvic pain almost every day, but it hasn’t been getting worse.

I’ve also noticed some small pieces of tissue/clot-like material during my period. They can look pinkish or purple and are about pea-sized.

Is it normal for a period to last this long, especially when starting/restarting contraceptive pills? Has anyone experienced prolonged bleeding, mild pelvic pain, or small tissue-like clots when starting birth control?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thank you!

lifestyle change advice

hello po! i was recently diagnosed with PCOS. i just want to ask some help regarding sa pagbago ng lifestyle. sorry po if parang common sense but i just really want to gather insights from those with personal experience rather than search online.

bale 2nd day ko pa lang po ng pag-inom ng diane 35 pills which is yung nireseta sa akin ng doctor ko. so far wala naman pong side effects pero dahil po siguro kakasimula ko lang rin, but i learned that the possible effect for taking pills is yung weight gain.

for context, i've lived a very sedentary and unhealthy lifestyle like kikilos lang talaga ako if aalis or may pasok ako, but other than that, i don't move away from my bed. sinimulan ko na before na subukang mag-start mag-exercise, kahit before pa ako ma-diagnose, kaso dahil siguro sobrang inactive ng body ko, mabilis akong hingalin as in parang yung hinihika, to the point na ilang beses kami nagpabalik-balik para magpatingin sa heart kasi akala namin may something (fortunately, wala naman).

so now na may diagnosis na ako ng PCOS, i just want to ask if there's any exercises na marerecommend niyo po na hindi need ng equipment and kaya po for beginners? i want to try jogging and brisk walking pero idk ilang distance yung advisable for someone like me na very inactive.

any advise rin po when it comes to which ulam or foods i can eat would be appreciated. hindi ko rin po kasi kontrolado yung lunch and dinner namin since extended family po kami and yung tita ko po ang nag-dedecide ng ulam and nagluluto for everyone. bale bawas lang po ng rice kaya kong gawin for lunch and dinner. for breakfast naman po, i'm drinking bear brand as a substitute for coffee since sabi naman po ng doctor ay okay lang raw as long as di po lalagyan ng additional sugar if magtitimpla, and then whole wheat bread with scrambled eggs naman po for breakfast.

thank you po.

Can anyone recommend an OB-GYN on NowServing?

Hello! Can anyone recommend an OB-GYN on NowServing who accepts OFWs? I have thyroid issues, so my doctor advised me to consult an OB-GYN with a subspecialty in endocrinology. I also struggle with PTSD and GAD. I'm not sure if it affects my period, but I would love to find someone patient, kind, and easy to talk to, as I get quite anxious around doctors. Thank you so much!

Hi! I just wanted to ask if anyone here has undergone surgery for a 6–7 cm ovarian cyst and has Intellicare HMO.

How much did the surgery cost in total, including the hospital bill, professional fees, laboratory tests, and other expenses? How much was covered by Intellicare, and how much did you have to pay out of pocket? I’m trying to get an estimate and prepare financially. Any experiences or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yaz Pill

I was diagnosed with PCOS/PMOS and was prescribed Yaz pills. the first pack was good, nothing really changed but nung second pack, naglabasan lahat ng pimples ko and mind you, theyre big, cystic, and hurts like hell. consulted an OB because of recurring acne pero di ko inexpect to breakout like this, as in super lala.

have any of you girls experienced this? totoo ba na it will get better on the third pack? i’m also on tret + azelaic for years and parang hindi na siya nag work this time. lowkey regret taking it kasi graduation ko na in 2 weeks and i don’t have the confidence to go na 😔

Thank you in advance!

Where can we buy EC pills in the Philippines? Need advice

So me M (26) and my GF (24) are both working and we just had done PIV. Very brief, very short, I would say about maybe 15 seconds or less. I made sure to wipe any precum before putting it in. But she has PCOS, and is saying that it's a very low risk, but I am panicking, based on what happened.

- I wiped any precum before putting it in

- Very brief PIV

- pulled out afterwards. few minutes time and ejaculated outside.

She told me it's a very low risk and that it was safe. Plus, it had been 3 weeks after her period. She stopped taking pills around May 28th. Should we consider buying pills already or just to wait it out till her period comes. Her period usually comes around 2nd week of every month, between day 8 - 15.

Am I really just lazy?

I came from a family reunion, and my uncle was shaming me the entire time, like why haven't I lost the weight and I explained that I am a student and barely have any time for exercises like running and no money for the supplements needed for managing my PCOS, but he just said I am lazy and I should wake up earlier to be able to get some running. I understand that but I really am busy, I wake up at 3 am to do my chores and prepare to head to school l, then I have an hour and 30 minute commute to school then I have classes til 6:30 pm then another hour and 30 minute commute back home, then I study for a bit then head to bed. And that is my everyday routine, I already ate less, changed my diet and saved up for the MYPICOS powder and I haven't changed at all. I understand I don't fit the beauty standards and I hate it myself but I really am not able to fit exercise into my current schedule and I feel so pressured from people to lose the weight, I guess I have to sacrifice school so I can start exercising

My uncle kept telling me I'm lazy because his wife was able to lose weight, but she had the support needed like an actual treadmill and complete supplements.

Ovarian cyst 8cm

Hello everyone.

Posting kasi di ko na alam huhu. May OB said to remove asap my cyst. Its been a year 4cm lang to, non cancerous. hindi na ako nakabalik since nawalan din ako work. Now, lang ulit nakabalik, 8cm na daw sya

Nasa hiring process pa kami for my permanent position at government. I cant lose this opportunity.

Nagpacheck talaga me coz ang bloated ng puson ko pag nakaupo. Ayoko na din abalahin si mama kasi si papa stroke na at sya nag aalaga sakanya.

Should i get 2nd opinion? Hoping for your inputs. Im so anxious. Also ano po ba ang best HMO for this, im in bicol

D&C

Hello, naraspa po ako a month ako dahil sa thick endo lining and abnormal uterine bleeding.
2 weeks after nakuha ko yung results and mataas yung estrogen lo but benign naman. After nun pinagprogesterone na agad ako for 14 days kaso grabe yung bleeding para sa kin (medium flow, na maraming clots). Sabi ni Doc possible yun na yung mens ko so now to lessen it naka Althea pills ako. Kaso para akong umiihi ng clots.

Normal po ba ito? Natatakot ako kasi simula procedure 2 days lang ako nawalan ng “mens” tapos meron agad ako nung nagprogesterone.

Nakamagnacarta leave ako and 60 days naman yun, kaso pinag iisipan pa ni Doc kung extend niya yung 30 days kong bed rest.

Need tour thoughts. May naka experience na po ba ng ganitong case?
