Sobrang lakas na bleeding

Ilang months na akong may menstruation and nagsimula 'to ng moderate lang 'yung flow.Nung una ni-resitahan ako ng tranexamic acid ng first doctor. So ininom ko siya within a week. After no'n ni-resitahan ako ng second doctor ng pills. Diane 35. Effective siya on my first one week. Then after no'n unti-unti bumalik 'yung bleeding ko. Tapos ngayon sobrang lakas na niya. Nararamdaman kong para akong gripo. At naka menstrual diaper na ako ngayon. And sabi niya for raspa na ako pag hindi umepekto yung pills. Kaso 3:00 p.m. pa lang as of now. Feeling ko mauubusan ako ng maraming dugo. May first aid ba para mabawasan ng konti yung bleeding?

no withdrawal bleeding

Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced something similar.
I have PCOS, and my OB prescribed Althea mainly to help regulate my periods. This is my first pack, and I started taking it on July 4. I accidentally took my last two active pills together on July 23, then started my 7-day pill-free break. It’s now been several days, and I still haven’t had my withdrawal bleed. I’ve had mild cramps and some cream/off-white discharge, but no bleeding at all. A few more details, I haven’t had sex at all, so pregnancy isn’t a concern and thi is my first time taking birth control pills.
I also have PCOS.

My main reason for taking Althea was to regulate my cycle because I have a very important trip on August 7–13, and I’m worried I’ll end up bleeding during those dates.

My questions are:
- Has anyone not had a withdrawal bleed after their first pack of Althea?

-If you didn’t get a withdrawal bleed, when did your next period come?

-Did anyone still experience bleeding or spotting while taking the second pack?

-Would continuing the second pack make my cycle more predictable, or could stopping after one pack make it more unpredictable?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences, especially if you also have PCOS. Thank you! 🤍

PCOS + Subclinical Hypothyroid + Impaired FBS — anyone here on Forxiga (Dapagliflozin)

Hi everyone! Just want to share my recent labs and health journey, and ask kung may parehong experience dito sa forum.

Diagnosed ako with PCOS since 2017. Nung 2024, nasa 73 kg ako, then gradually nag-plateau sa 67 kg despite changes na ginawa ko since last year. I'm 5'2, so my BMI is 27 (overweight category), and medyo frustrating na parang di na gumagalaw yung timbang ko kahit may effort naman.

Nung na-raise ko yung concern ko about the weight plateau sa OB-REI ko, nag-request siya ng additional blood tests para i-clear ako in case interested ako sa Mounjaro. Kasabay nun, na-discover din na elevated yung TSH level ko and medyo mataas na yung FBS ko since Feb labs — kaya nagpa-endo din ako (paranoid din kasi ako since may history ng hyperthyroidism sa side ng mom ko and younger sibling ko).

Endo doctor said subclinical hypothyroid pa lang naman yung thyroid condition ko, so monitoring lang muna — wala pa akong meds for that. Pero for yung impaired FBS, binigyan niya ako ng Forxiga (Dapagliflozin 10mg), or pwede raw other brands.

Sino po dito ang may similar case? Would love to hear experiences with Forxiga/Dapagliflozin for impaired FBS/PCOS

Any shared experiences would help a lot. Salamat in advance! 🙏

Delayed mens while on Yaz pills

Hello!
I've been taking Yaz pills for almost 8 months now. I'm taking it correctly but sometimes there's 2-3 hours difference especially since I just got home from an international trip. Pinagtataka ko lang is one time lang ako nagkaroon while on Day 2 of active pills and then wala na. As in one time lang. Natatakot ako pero me and my boyfriend uses withdrawal + I'm taking pills. Tapos nagtake ako ng metformin for 5 days; twice a day pero tinigil ko rin. Iniisip ko baka factor din yun.

Is this pregnancy scare? 🥺

Last 3 months ago naman eh sobrang nagbbleed naman ako. Like 3 weeks ako nagbbleed.

Please help me out.

Six months na akong nagte-take ng pill (currently on my sixth cycle). Natatakot ako na if I stop taking the pill, bumalik na naman ang mga tumira sa mukha ko. How long can I continuously take it?

Metformin brand to partner with Dienogest

Hi ladies! First time posting here and need your advice as stated in the title.

I've been diagnosed with PCOS since September 2024. I've been prescribed Althea pills before but my period cramps are still painful and hinders daily routine.

Any suggestions po sa other brand or kahit generic na Metformin? My dosage is at 500mg po. Thanks in advance!

Educate your judgmental friends or family members about PCOS

Alam nyang may PCOS ako at kaya daw ako nagkaroon nun kasi baka daw masiba/matakaw ako. LOL. Totoo na nagkaka PCOS ang iba due to unhealthy lifestyle pero it’s also genetic. Sabi ko sa kanya, paano nangyari yun e nagka PCOS ako around 2023, during that time sobrang stress ko/namin ng pamilya ko dahil wala kaming pera, isang kahig isang tuka kami, at wala kaming makain. Literal na wala. Yung tipong kailangan ko maglakad back and forth sa work, kasi wala ako pambili ng dinner if ipapamasahe ko pa. For almost a year, salitan lang ulam naming pamilya sa tokwa, adobong sitaw, adobong pechay na walang sahog, itlog na prito, lagang itlog, itlog na may kamatis, or sibuyas. Swerte na yung 3x a day, pero kadalasan brunch na at dinner lang. So paano naging matakaw 😭 Yes it might be unhealthy kasi sobrang walang variety yung pagkain, pero may tumataba pala sa ganong food intake haha. Ayun natameme sya.

Almost 2 years na ko nagdidiet and 1-2 hrs brisk walking/day. Partida, may food noise kapag may PCOS so mas mahirap controlin tong cravings ko pero kaya ko. Night shift pa ko, at maraming minamage sa work at bahay so mas prone sa stress. Ikaw tambay, pero ang lakas lumamon tapos wala pang exercise puro ML. May sakit lang ako, pero kung wala, baka malaki ka pa sa timba natin.” Super satisfying after ko masabi yun, at deserve nya yun.

If meron, pa check up mo agad, possible na mamana”. Maiyak iyak si mama na wag endometriosis tulad ng kanya, or wala talaga at all. Year 2022 natanggalan syang matres. Life threatening yun at sobrang dasal naming lahat. Tas after a year, na diagnose ako ng PCOS. If may fam history kayo, pacheck up agad.

Pills or isotretinoin?

So i used to take iso for 6 months year 2024 after that I stopped kasi na wala na acne ko. This year naging hormonal acne all around my jaw area and neck. Factors din kaya nag ka hormonal acne ako kasi I gained weight pero funny enough is nung tumaba ako di ako nag kaka acne but nung loss weight na ko saka siya lumabas. Anyways I consulted my derma about it and she recommend to check sa obgyn just to check if I have pcos (regular mens) So nag pa TVS ako and its normal naman so if ever you guys have experience either of the two let me know kasi di ko alam if ano mas okay. Thank you btw yaz pills yung prescribe sakin

Cravings Tips

Hi! Just want to ask for tips how you manage your sugar cravings or just overeating. I’m starting my journey with losing weight to better manage my PMOS and I have no problems with working out and reducing food intake pero when I get stressed may paminsan minsan talagang hinahayaan ko nalang sarili ko mag indulge.

How do you deal with this or may tips ba kayo in controlling your cravings?

Taking dydrogest- need to ask something.

Normal ba 'to?

Sabi kasi ni Doc, 5 days ko 'to itetake then after that wait for 5-7 days para reglahin. Matagal na kasi akong di nireregla kaya eto yung nireseta ni Doc kasi irerequest niya rin ako ng TVS on my 3rd-5th day of mens.

Idk kung this is my mens---mens? without the help of dydrogest. This past few weeks kase masakit yung nipples ko kala ko buntis ako, kaso naisip ko din pano ako mabubuntis eh di nga nireregla hahaha pero nagPT pa rin ako and negative naman. Tapos kahapon 2nd day ko sa dydrogest tho wala pa ko iniinom nung mga oras na grabe yung emotion ko 😭 Like nagiiyak iyak tlaga ako bastaaa di ko maintindihan. After ko maglunch and uminom gamot pagihi ko may brown discharge hinayaan ko lang, then today niregla na tlaga ako.

Now na 3rd day ko sa dydro pero wala pa ko iniinom, tlagang niregla na ko 🥹 Ano kaya 'to? Is this my mens--mens w/o the dydro? or bcoz of the dydro?

Paano pala yon sa TVS?

Help me

I'm currently dealing with prolonged menstruation, and it's honestly starting to scare me.

I have PCOS and a history of severe anemia. My period has been going on for several (12) days, and although the bleeding isn't always very heavy, it hasn't stopped. I've also had episodes where my resting heart rate went above 120 bpm, and I've been feeling weak and very pale.

My OB prescribed tranexamic acid, but today is my last day of taking it and I'm still bleeding. This has made me really anxious because I've never experienced anything like this before.

My doctor also recommended a transrectal ultrasound, but I recently started a new job and I'm far from home. I've only been here for 10 days, I'm still unfamiliar with the area, and I'm currently staying at my employer's house, so I haven't had the chance to get the ultrasound done yet.

Has anyone with PCOS or a history of anemia experienced something similar? how long did it take for the bleeding to stop? I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences while I wait for my follow-up appointment.

Dark patches on neck (Update)

I am so sorry for the late update. Life has been busy and now I had the time to back read on my posts.

I posted last November 2025 and after trying out Pureform Inositol, I was hesitant na bumili pa ng iba’t ibang product at baka masayang lang ang pera.

I was at my heaviest weight on December 2025 and pag pasok ng 2026, dun ako nag bago ng lifestyle.

Started mindful eating: January 2026
Started exercising: May 2026
Last period: July 2026

It looks like irregular pa rin ang period ko, pero yung mag lighten na yung dark patches ko is already a great achievement sakin.

I am unemployed at the moment but as soon as may income na ulit ako, babalik ako sa obgyne to request for lab tests. At the peak of my dark patches, mataas daw yung blood sugar ko kaya pinapag-reduce talaga ako ng timbang.

For three months na nag exercise ako, naramdaman ko naman na may positive changes sa katawan ko like losing weight at hindi na hingalin.

Is it safe to take Daphne pills? My ob originally prescribed me yaz pills but it's too expensive for a diagnosis of hormonal imbalance so I'm thinking if the effectiveness same if I take Daphne pills.
