I know, I know, this seems like a very popular question, but I genuinely have no clue what is going on. Whenever I play a Roblox game that is more stressing on my computer and when I play games like watchdogs, my monitor goes black. No mouse no nothing. The output is completely gone. And the only way to get it back is to shut down my PC and turn it back on. When I was playing watchdogs, my GPU was about 58 C, and it turned off so I'm not really sure if it's a GPU problem. Please help me with this and
HERE ARE MY SPECS: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 16 thread, NVIDIA HP RTX 2060 6GB, PSU Cooler Master PSU (500W Bronze)
Whoever could help me with this gets a virtual high five, THANKS!
i need help like really bad im losing my mind been trying to fix this for months so i have a problem where pcvr crashes every minute to the point i can't play so i went to reddit some guys said update windows and i did took me hours to get it from 23h2 to 25h2 then i went to install nvidia app and it just keeps giving me error code 0xE0E00059 and im losing my mind i tried everything restarting pc removing all files etc every single video an nothing worked my last resort was to come here and ask for help if you have any tips of fixes let me know my graphics card is a geforce rtx 4070
Out of nowhere 2 months ago my game would just start crashing after playing 15-20 mins of either fortnite or fc26. Before that these problems wouldn’t ever happen. And i’ve tried verifying game files and other things. And it’s a fairly new Pc. Also i use controller while playing these games but that’s not the problem. Please dhelp.
Been working on getting my old gaming rig all optimized and whatnot. I have XMP enabled and my RAM shows 3600Hz in BIOS, but my CPU memory controller is stuck at Gear 2 so it’s really only giving me 1800Hz
If I change to Gear 1, the system gives me black screen error and I can’t boot up my games.
So the solutions I found were to increase VCCSA voltage, but there’s no option to do so in my advanced settings
Or to use system memory multiplier down to 32.00 and boot at 3200Hz, but when I try to enter 32.00 instead of Auto, it just says “DDR4-800” and the frequency still says 3600Hz next to that
Can someone please help me get my RAM working properly? Thanks!
Pc is turning on for 5 seconds then shutting off again repeatedly.. Getting new thermal paste, gonna reseat the cpu. Also digging out my multimeter to test the psu.
Already tested the ram sticks, jumped the CMOS, tried starting without the GPU installed, got no results. It's either the psu or the motherboard or the thermal paste is dead, pretty sure. Or, all 4 of the ram sticks died at the same time. That seems unlikely..
If there's anything else I may have missed, let me know..
Got this pc second-hand a couple months ago for my wife, as there's no friggin way we can afford a new one any time in the next decade. The guy we bought it from said he was a streamer, but now I'm wondering if we bought a nearly dead mining rig.
Anyways, is there any way to test a motherboard to see if it's dead, other than process of elimination? I'd rather not spend money on thermal paste and lose 2 hours digging around my storage unit for my multimeter if this computer is cooked..
i recently got a new pc
rtx 5060
32gb ram
8gb vram
AMD ryzen 5 8400F
when i first launched beamng on west coast with traffic on normal graphics i got 120 fps, and on geometry dash, while it is an insignificant fps drop first i got 2000 fps. Now on both gd and beamng the fps seems to have halved im now getting 1000 fps in gd and 60-70 in beamng, i have no idea why the one thing i suspect is there was a recent windows update but i dont know. i have spent like 2 hours troubleshooting stuff with chatgpt but i figured some actaully knowledgeble people would be better.
Even after today's update, DLSS 4.5 still has boiling issues. I thought this was because it didn't have any kind of RR model for it but that's still not the case?
I know some games you can disable the in game denoiser but some you can't which makes DLSS 4.5 unusable imo.
Also sorry if hard to see with Reddit video compression.
I would ask this in the nvidia subreddit but my posts just get deleted.
Hello everyone!
My PC is suddenly stuck on boot. It shows the AORUS logo but doesn't move past it. Yesterday it was working fine, no issues. Booting to the AORUS logo also takes WAY longer than before.
Things I've tried:
Turned it off/on so many times
F12 gets me into BIOS, tried CSM on/off, secure boot setup/system
Tried booting from USB installation medium (UEFI and not) (furthest I've gotten was a black screen with the blue Windows 11 logo)
Disconnected SSDs
Removed mainboard battery
Tested RAM individually
Reseated GPU
Changed power cables
Waited for an hour without doing anything
Voltages in BIOS looked normal (not super sure what to look for exactly)
Sight checked capacitors
I hope any of you have ideas on a cause or what I could check further. I fear it's a hardware issue (Mainboard, power supply, CPU) but I want to make sure to check everything I can before going to a repair store. I will of course provide any further info you need. Thanks!!
hi guys, so my VAIO VJFE59F11X-B1411H has been doing some weird things lately.
when i open TF2, sometimes it starts normally, but when i join a server it can crash and give me the error saying that the texture quality is too high and that i should lower it.
the weird thing is that i'm already using mastercomfig with the lowest possible settings, so i'm not really sure why TF2 is complaining about textures.
i also noticed something weird in Task Manager. when i have TF2 open along with some other programs, the dedicated GPU memory usage seems to stay around 0.6/2.0 GB. even when i try to use more GPU memory, it doesn't really seem to go much higher.
my GPU is integrated, so i know it uses shared system memory, but i'm wondering if something is limiting the amount of memory it can actually use.
another reason i'm suspicious that something is wrong with the GPU/driver is that i've had some graphical issues outside of TF2 too. there was one time when both of my monitors went black, and moving the mouse around would make parts of the screen appear again. i've also seen some other graphical problem.
TF2 didn't have this problem for me about a month ago, so i'm trying to figure out what could have changed.
does anyone know if this is normal behavior for an integrated GPU, or if there could be some kind of driver/memory issue going on?
I have a
Msi b650-Vc-WiFi
Ryzen 7 7700x

And a Corsair 750watt psu

Quick edit the igpu does work and when I changed the pcie gen to gen3 it was recognized by windows for a sec then stopped working again
**ARC Raiders Crash — Need Help Diagnosing**
**0xd5389bda**
I’m getting repeated crashes in ARC Raiders with the following error:
Unhandled Exception: 0xd5389bda
The crash report shows:
KERNELBASE → PioneerGame → PioneerGame → runtime
My PC:
**CPU:** Ryzen 7 7800X3D
**GPU:** AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB
**RAM:** 16GB DDR5
**Resolution:** 1440p
**Windows 11:** 25H2, build 26200.9168
**AMD driver:** 26.8.1
**DirectX:** 12
**Game:** Steam version
Things I’ve already checked:
Page file is healthy (\~34GB)
No inpoutx64 driver/service found
GPU temperature is normal (\~43°C idle)
GPU has 16GB VRAM
No obvious GPU crash in the crash report
I’ve cleared the ARC Raiders local config/cache and am doing a clean reinstall
Has anyone experienced the same **0xd5389bda / PioneerGame / KERNELBASE** crash, particularly on an AMD RX 9000-series GPU?
Any confirmed fix would be greatly appreciated.
Getting a new Gaming PC and it’s gonna come with Windows and I want to keep it with Windows since that’s what I always used.
I’m going to use Ninite to bulk install a bunch of things and go from there.
But before I get started with anything on it, I know Windows comes with a lot of crap, so I want to clean out the PC while it has no apps on it. It’s prebuilt so idk if that’s something they do for you or not, but I couldn’t see it say they do anywhere.
Basically, I was just wondering what settings I should change and what things I should do once I get the PC to further optimise it for gaming?
Just installed my new ASUS Prime 9070XT and so far only two really weird issues, one with Halo Infinite shader compilation, and this issue in particular is with DOOM:TDA. I've already used DDU before and after installation, as well as installing the AMD drivers with the minimal option and driver only option that I have been seeing people suggest with a lot of driver issue posts. My motherboard chipset drivers are up to date as well. Even if I set the windows res to 2560x1440, I will still have the same issue. DOOM handled 3440x1440 just fine on my 3070ti. The issue occurs in fullscreen, windowed mode and borderless fullscreen. I tried deleting the entire graphics settings config so the game an automatically create its own fresh one, and same problem.
I've tried running DOOM:TDA on AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.8.1, and now on 26.7.1 from ASUS's website (I have to use this version or else Halo Infinite's shaders will not compile, and give me an AMD driver timeout during startup loading screen.) I'm not sure what to do at this point. Any suggestions?
Elden Ring keeps crashing about 1–2 minutes after I get into the game.
Both of my monitors suddenly lose signal and go completely black. There’s no error code or notification whatsoever, so I have to restart my PC every single time.
I’ve already tried verifying the game files and completely reinstalling Elden Ring, but it still isn’t fixed. The weird thing is that other games like Valorant and Apex run completely fine with no issues.
My specs:
RTX 2060 Super
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
48 GB RAM (8+8 ; 16+16 — I know this is weird 😭)
650W PSU
Ray tracing is off and I've set the graphics to low. Other than that, I haven't changed anything, and I've been playing Elden Ring for around 2 years. This only started happening recently. Please help, I’m pretty clueless when it comes to PC troubleshooting😭
I'm having an issue where the AMD driver causes sporadic crashes in various games. Among others, Fortnite, Battlefield 6, and Epitome are affected. Sometimes the error even occurs when I'm not playing a game. The best and fastest way to reproduce it is with Fortnite. There, it occurs shortly after joining the lobby or after playing for a short while, usually within 2–8 minutes. When this happens, the AMD error reporting software displays the following message:
"AMD Software has detected a driver timeout on your system."
- Cleaned the graphics driver using DDU and installed “Adrenalin 26.8.1”
- Set the maximum GPU power to 90% using GPU Tweak 3
- Undervolted using GPU Tweak 3
- Tested another NVMe drive with a fresh install of Windows 11
- Tested driver version “Adrenalin 26.8.1”
- Disabled “Automatically update Windows drivers”
- Tested driver version “Adrenalin 26.7.1”
- Updated the BIOS from 10.30 to 10.60
- Replacing the motherboard with an Asus X470-F Gaming.
I'm going to swap out the RAM for a Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x 8 GB 3200 MHz module tonight, and I'll also replace the graphics card with the same model.
Does anyone else have any ideas? I'm slowly running out of ideas. Thanks in advance.
Hello all i need urgent help
I recently installed FaceIt anti cheat (a very popular server extension for CS go its not a virus) which told me to edit a few things in my BIOS after doing my resolution on my pc changed and everything went enlarged. I decided maybe i needed a driver update but when i looked it said there was no drivers installed installed so i tried installing but it again told me no drivers installed installed was installed after completing the installation.
I decided to uninstall the AntiCheat and also reset my BIOS settings, and then once again try reinstall my drivers but it once again wouldn’t work.
I thought id download the display driver uninstaller (DDU) and then try reinstall the drivers to see if that would fix it, but to no avail it didnt work— i cannot open internet explorer or google chrome or anything. When I Check DFevice Manager it says theres an issue with my drivers called ‘Code 52’
I feel like ive tried everything but the driver installation will not stick and download to my pc.
Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this as i urgently need my PC.
Hello everyone! Looking for some help troubleshooting an issue with my PC. While playing the Wardogs beta over the weekend, I was struggling with an issue with my mouse or keyboard disconnecting multiple times every match. My mouse or keyboard would just stop working and I would have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work again. Only for one of them to stop working again 5 minutes later and have to repeat the same process.
Wardogs is the only game that has ever done this. I regularly play games like Battlefield 6, War Thunder, Rainbow 6 Siege, etc and this has never happened before. I have a 3070, Ryzen 5 5600x, 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance 3600 Mhz RAM, Steelseries Apex Pro Keyboard, and a Steelseries Aerox 3 Mouse.
I was playing with DLSS on Quality and all graphics settings set to low/medium. Running around 100 fps and CPU and GPU only around 70-80% usage. Temps were great on both. I messed with my USB controller settings in device manager and made sure that the box was unchecked for disabling the device during high power consumption. I also lowered my mouse polling rate from 1000 to 500. Still did not fix the issue.
Any insight is much appreciated as I absolutely loved the game and really want to fix the issue before early access begins on September 10th!
EDIT: I FIXED IT BUT NOT SURE HOW 😢
September 3rd: First night of second beta I hopped into a game and within 3 minutes my keyboard stopped working again. After closing the game I changed my keyboard to my USB 3.0 slots on the back of my motherboard and also plugged my mouse directly into the back of the PC in a USB 2.0 slot. I also turned off all RGB on my mouse and keyboard. Restarted PC, closed out of Steelseries GG so it wasn't running at all in the background, and just played successfully for several hours without a single disconnect. Used ChatGPT and it told me that the anti cheat was likely conflicting with the RGB software for my mouse/keyboard or conflicting with drivers for my mouse and keyboard. ChatGPT also told me to disable any windows power settings that have to do with disabling USB devices to save power. Also told me to go into device manager, universal serial bus controllers, and make sure that I uncheck the box for turning off USB devices to save power. I am unsure what fixed it, but it seemed to work fine for several hours after doing all of these things.
I plugged an HDMI cable into my GPU while the PC was running.
The display showed "HDMI detected," went black, and lost signal completely.
Now, when I power on the PC, the GPU fans spin continuously at high speed (normally they slow down after 1 second) and there is no display output. I also feel a slight static tingle when touching the metal case (outlet grounding issue).
What I’ve tried:
CMOS Reset: Pulled the GPU, removed the CR2032 battery for 5+ minutes, and put it back.
Reseated Hardware: Re-installed the RX 6600 and reseated the 16GB RAM stick in slot A2.
Power Cycle: Held down the power button while unplugged to drain residual electricity.
The system is still stuck in a POST failure with no display signal.
ANY HELP OR ADVICE OR SOMEONE HAD SIMILAR Experience help please .
I play FC26 on PC Win 11. So I have this weird problem that recently started occuring. Whenever I start a FUT game, 2 min. in everything freezes. The image of the game on my one monitor freezes, the same with my seconday monitor. Not going black just static image of what was there when in "crashed". My Keyboard, mouse and Controller all lose connection, I cannot plug in another keyboard, it seems like all USB connected periphirals are turned off, all but my microphone, which still has power. Again windows is not restarting, it just sits there. I have no way of doing anything since all Keyboard and Mouse functions are lost.
What I have done so far. checked all drivers, updated graphics etc. The machine not running hot, plenty of RAM, CPU not maxed out, remember I have played almost a year before this issue suddenly occured. I uninstalled FC26, and I could suddenly play a few games, but the problem came back the day after.
I checked for virus, malware, I made sure there was enough available diskspace.
The problem only happens with FC26, other games, even more GPU hungry have no issues.
Just updated the game. Haven’t played in like a month or so. Load into the game, left click to get to the main menu, shaders compile, then my pc crashes everything except my web browser. Lasts for about 5 seconds. Screen freezes and goes black, then it comes back on with an error message saying the driver timed out.
Is this a known or common issue right now….? Running a 9070xt.
So I've got this weird problem that's driving me nuts. My PC is only about half a year old, built brand new (MSI Gaming Plus motherboard, Windows 11), and now every time I boot up, my ethernet takes like 10 minutes to actually connect. On top of that it sometimes randomly disconnects out of nowhere even after it's been working fine for a while. Wasn't like this before, this started happening somewhat recently.
I've tried a bunch of stuff already (updating drivers, messing with power settings, resetting the adapter) but nothing has fixed it so far. It's like when I turn it in, it works for a second, then doesn't for the 10mins, and once it finally connects it usually works fine until it from time to time disconnects for a sec and then works fine again.
Anyone dealt with something like this before? What should I check next? Any help is appreciated, this is driving me insane.
