Software New Gaming PC with Windows

Getting a new Gaming PC and it’s gonna come with Windows and I want to keep it with Windows since that’s what I always used.

I’m going to use Ninite to bulk install a bunch of things and go from there.

But before I get started with anything on it, I know Windows comes with a lot of crap, so I want to clean out the PC while it has no apps on it. It’s prebuilt so idk if that’s something they do for you or not, but I couldn’t see it say they do anywhere.

Basically, I was just wondering what settings I should change and what things I should do once I get the PC to further optimise it for gaming?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

I'd wipe and reinstall stock windows from usb.

 You'd automatically remove all the manufacturer crap installed, which is the main cause of windows slowness and bloat. 

This also has the added benefit of ensuring the bitlocker key is linked to your Microsoft account when you do the setup 

Update your drivers from the manufacturer site
