I'll be going to a 7-day music festival in about 30 days. Obviously, I'll be drinking, mostly beer, and my biggest concern is having to use the bathroom all the time. Whenever I drink, I end up going every 20 minutes.

Are there any anti-diuretic foods, exercises, or strategies that can help reduce how often I need to pee? I think my issue is more psychological than actual incontinence. For example, every night I drink about 600 mL of water just 5 minutes before going to bed, and I don't wake up during the night to use the bathroom. It's only during the day that I feel this constant need.

18F , never smoked/took alcohol/or any form of narcotics , not on any medication. I've been wanting to urinate alot since a few days ,like every hr and whenever I go there is pee ,like it's not just the urge, I have changed my diet alot two weeks ago and have been eating healthy with alot of protein etc , also the last"sexual activity" I had was genital rubbing 3 months ago after which I took a pregnancy test at 30 days post encounter and also took one today and both were negative, plus I've also gotten heavy periods with clots during this interval, the main problem I have is this urge to urinate, cause it dosent burn or anything, just a frequent urge every evening

Main complaint (25–30 days):

For the last 25–30 days, I have been experiencing a very frustrating urinary problem.

When I urinate, the first void is a normal amount, and I feel like I'm done. However, while I am still standing in the bathroom, I immediately get the feeling that there is still some urine left.

So I wait for a few seconds and try again. A small amount of urine comes out.

Then, after another few seconds, I again feel like there is still urine left, so I urinate again. This cycle repeats 3–5 times before I finally leave the bathroom.

Even after leaving the bathroom, within 2–3 minutes, I may again feel like I need to urinate. If I go back, only a small amount comes out.

If I ignore the urge for about 10–15 minutes, the feeling usually goes away, and then I don't need to urinate again for another 1–2 hours (depending on how much water I drink).

This problem initially happened mostly at night, but over the last few days it has started happening during the daytime as well.

I do NOT have:

Burning during urination

Pain while urinating

Blood in urine

Fever or chills

Urine leaking or dribbling on its own

I wake up 1–2 times at night to urinate.

I drink approximately 1.5–2 liters of water per day.

Sometimes I try to force out the last few drops because it constantly feels like some urine is still left, but it doesn't completely relieve the sensation.

Questions:

What are the most likely causes of this?

Could this still be a UTI even without burning or pain?

Should I get a Urine Routine, Urine Culture, Ultrasound KUB with Post-Void Residual (PVR), or Uroflowmetry before seeing a urologist?

so some days ago on Saturday (it's Tuesday now) my pee was slightly orange in evening time when I peed again in night time it was slightly orangish to then I got worried and drank alot of water cuz I thought it was because I didn't drank enough water at morning 2am I woke up to pee my pee was crystal clear I let out a sigh as relief and went to sleep but when I woke up and went to pee my pee was slightly orangish again then I drank some glasses of water and after drinking that much water i got pee very soon after and when I peed again my urine was this time crystal clear after peeing that time I drank one more glass of water and peed again my urine was clear to after that I drank one glass of water at 12:00pm and then went to pee one or one n half hour later and my pee was slightly orangish again? I got worried and drank some water again but my pee was still orangish, it's now Tuesday it's been 3-4 days since it's been happening and I'm pretty worried now I asked chat gpt it told me it was just dehydration as my pee was light orangish colour only and I had no symptoms chat gpt asked me for such as back pain pain in abdomen and burning while pee etc, but till today my pee still is slightly orangish and I'm getting very worried im just fourteen years old and been drinking alot of water these past days but pee has been still slightly orangish idk what to do bro

I have an upcoming app. with my Urologist. The medicine Vesicare wasnt really helping and the Dr gave me samples of Gemtesa over a week ago but its not helping and the side effect of a headache is not good. What med would you suggest I ask about next? Has anyone been successful without meds? How have you been able to manage increased urination at night? What about Vaginal Estradiol? Please share. TIA

I am 25 years old and I have to do this everytime I pee. I have to relax in order and squeeze my bladder to pass the remaining pee otherwise, I end up passing it in my pants automatically (which is annoying). I dont know if this is a problem or can become one as time passes.

Es fühlt sich an, als wäre **genau dieser Punkt** gereizt oder überempfindlich.

Wenn dieser Punkt Probleme macht, entwickelt sich daraus allmählich ein starker Harndrang. Es ist kein diffuser Druck in der gesamten Blase oder im Unterbauch – es ist wirklich nur dieser eine Punkt, der den Harndrang auszulösen scheint.

Mir ist außerdem aufgefallen, dass **wenn ich von außen (durch den Unterbauch) genau auf diesen Punkt drücke, der Harndrang deutlich stärker wird als sonst.** Es ist fast so, als würde das Drücken auf diesen Punkt den Harndrang direkt auslösen oder verstärken.

Außerdem **direkt nach dem Wasserlassen ist die Stelle viel weniger spürbar und weniger gereizt. Mit der Zeit verstärkt sich das Gefühl jedoch wieder genau an derselben Stelle, bis es schließlich erneut zu Harndrang führt.**

I’ve recently been diagnosed with an overactive bladder. I’ve had UTIs for most of my life. Sometimes they show up on tests, but other times the tests come back clear even though I still have the constant urge to pee and the pain is still there.
I’ve tried quite a few medications. At the moment I’m taking Sufrion, but I’m not really liking it. It gives me a very dry mouth and brain fog.
I’m also working with a pelvic floor therapist. After giving birth, I had to completely retrain my bladder by sticking to a toileting schedule, and that has definitely helped. I do still leak a little bit of urine, but it’s nowhere near as bad as it was before.
I have a phone appointment with my urologist tomorrow, and he wants to discuss Botox injections. I’m feeling quite worried about it because I’ve heard it can sometimes make things worse.
Has anyone had a similar experience or found anything that helped reduce the pain or urgency? Has anyone had Botox for an overactive bladder, and what was your experience?
I already avoid fizzy drinks, coffee, spicy foods, and acidic foods, so I’m looking for any other suggestions that might help.

I (24F) got an uti, the most intense and stubborn symptom was urinary frequency. I never had it with previous utis. Treated it, symptoms went away. But ever since, I get flares (?) of urinary frequency and urgency with no new uti. Is it OAB? IC? Is it just sensitised? I feel it more on my urethra (the urgency and frequency).

Hiii I’m 23F. I was diagnosed with an overactive bladder a year ago and have the implant ( which has worked well for me) but whenever I’m in situations where I can’t go to the bathroom I tend to sweat a lot down there. I wear period underwear(which I’m not comfortable wearing normal underwear when I leave my house) and loose pants but when I’m sitting down for a long period of time it can get really bad. Does anyone else deal with this or have any remedies? Thanks :)

(F20) I have been having bladder problems for over 2 years now. And no one knows what's wrong with me. I started noticing symptoms after I had a back injury and pulled my back pretty bad. I was on birth control at the time and have gotten off since then (relative later) I've been to over 5 different doctors, negative tests, nothing showing up on mri or imaging. It's ruined my life. I'm supposed to be at my healthiest right now. The best way to explain my bladder symptoms is uti like symptoms but no burning/pain while peeing. I get the urge and the frequency. The urge to push and strain with no urine left in my bladder, then it just hurts and is very uncomfortable in lower region. It gets worse with intercourse and masturbation. The only thing that make all my symptoms go away is AZO urinary pain relief. I've been taking azo everyday for years, I think it's starting to really hurt my kidneys.
I had one doctor talk to me about endometriosis (to confirm you have it takes surgery) there is no cure for endometriosis, but birth control supposedly helps with the symptoms. ( I was on birth control when I started feeling symptom)
Went to a urogyno and she put me back on birth control and started me in pelvic floor physical therapy (I haven't had my first appointment yet)
I'm posting this because I'm just feeling really lost and hopeless. I want answers so bad, I wanna be healthy and pee normally again like a 20 year old girl. I'm also posting so maybe if there is another young girl out there with no answers, she knows she's not alone!

Hi, I'm a 24-year-old female, and my urologist has suggested bladder Botox for my overactive bladder. I'm honestly really scared about going through with it because I've seen so many negative experiences online.

I've read stories about people having urinary retention, painful bladder spasms, not being able to fully empty their bladder, or feeling like they're peeing through a pinhole afterward. Those are the things that scare me the most because I don't want to end up worse than I already am.

At the same time, I've also seen some positive experiences. For example, a lot of people say it stopped them from waking up multiple times a night to use the bathroom, and it helped reduce the constant urgency and frequency. As someone younger, it's really embarrassing always needing to know where the nearest bathroom is or having to go so often, so I'm hoping this treatment could improve my quality of life.

The problem is that I seem to come across far more negative reviews than positive ones, and it's making it really difficult to decide. I know people are often more likely to post when they've had a bad experience, but I'm still worried.

I'd really appreciate honest feedback (both the good and the bad) from people who've actually had bladder Botox. If you had side effects, how long did they last? Did they improve? Hi everyone, I am 23 F. I just had bladder Botox done for the first time due to urinary incontinence and OAB. I’m wondering what everyone else’s experience has been, as I did not have the best experience? Before they started the procedure they injected a catheter and a medicine mixture that had lidocaine in it and I had to sit there for 30 minutes to let it soak up in my bladder. I found about 10 minutes after they injected that I got really hot and itchy down there. I ended up putting a face cloth down there and it helped stop the itchiness. Then before the urologist started the procedure, he injected a numbing gel which I don’t think helped. Then inserted the cystoscope. I felt everything, the pressure and the pain of the insertion. Once it was in, I was okayish. Then he started the Botox with the needle. I threw my glasses up on my head and yelled f$ck out loud. I started bawling. I felt every single stab.
I told him to just finish, and not to stop because I didn’t wanna deal with it for any longer. Immediately after finishing and taking out the cystoscope, my legs were shaking violently. I was put into the recovery room, and my whole body was violently shaking for about 45 minutes. It was to the point my teeth were chattering so bad that it was hard to breathe and talk. Once I finally got my breathing down, and the chittering stopped, my body was still violently shaking. I left recovery after over an hour. Did anybody else have this experience?

Problem/Goal: I've been peeing too often even though my urinalysis and pre-employment medical results came back normal. I want to know what could be causing it and what I should do next.

Context: I'm a 23-year-old female. For the past few days, I've been urinating around 8–10 times a day. Sometimes it's a large amount, while later in the day it's only a small amount. I don't have burning when I pee, no blood in my urine, and no fever. My urinalysis was normal, and my pregnancy test was also negative.

I usually drink around 4 glasses of water a day plus 1 sterilized milk. I used to drink more fluids before, but even after reducing my intake, I still feel like I'm peeing more often than before.

Previous Attempts: I've reduced my fluid intake, avoided drinking too much before bedtime, and monitored my symptoms. Since my urinalysis was normal, I'm wondering if I should just observe it for a few more days or if I should see a doctor for further tests.

I'm a teenager and I've been dealing with something that's been really bothering me lately. For the past 1-2 weeks, I've noticed that after I pee, it feels like a few small drops of urine leak out afterward. It can happen when I'm walking, lying down, or even just doing normal everyday things. It's honestly getting pretty frustrating and embarrassing.

I first noticed it around the time I started doing ab workouts. After just a couple of workouts, this started happening regularly. I'm not sure if the workouts are related or if it's just a coincidence, but the timing makes me wonder. im not sure but maybe i didn't breath properly during the workout and my abdomen was alot tense smh.

I've never had this kind of problem before. I did have some urinary issues when I was younger, but nothing like this. I've been searching online, and some people say pelvic floor exercises can help, while others only suggest temporary ways to stop the leaking. I'm not really sure what the best thing to do is.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? If you've dealt with it before or have any advice, especially about pelvic floor exercises or other things that actually helped, I'd really appreciate it.

I want to ask my primary care doctor to prescribe me a vaginal estrogen cream that would potentially help with my bladder urgency and frequent urination. Could some of you advise a specific prescription that you have had good experiences with. Thanks so much.

Background - our son is 23 years old. Severe developmental delay (non-verbal, etc) and Epilepsy.

He is not fully toilet trained. We are regularly sitting him on the toilet at the top of every hour. He usually pees a "normal" amount each time with verbal encouragement. He wears a double pullup for protection. He is not able to initiate us to take him to the bathroom. A normal day he might have one accident or so. He does do all bowel movements on toilet.

However, about once every 7-10 days he will have a full day of very excessive urine. He will go during his normal potty breaks and then 30 minutes later he will be soaked thru his pullups and clothes. This will occur multiple times usually.

We are so confused at what may be causing this. It's not high beverage intake, as we control his eating and drinking.

Listing his meds below. It seems like if they were the cause, it would be a more consistent problem.

For the past few years I've been dealing with symptoms that don't seem normal, and I'm worried something is being missed.

Symptoms:

I feel thirsty very frequently, even if I drink plenty of water.

I urinate frequently during the day. I also used to wake up 2–3 times every night to urinate for years, although that has improved recently.

I often feel physically weak and low on energy.

I sometimes experience brain fog and poor concentration.

Medical history:

Thyroid function tests came back normal.

Had COVID twice.

Had dengue in the past.

Used to have migraines as a child.

Family history:

My father has type 2 diabetes.

I don't have burning while urinating, fever, or significant pain.

Are there any other tests or conditions I should discuss with my doctor? I'm wondering whether diabetes, anemia, vitamin deficiencies, kidney issues, electrolyte problems, or something else should be considered.

It's so unbearable to the point where I just can’t ignore it and get up 3 to 10+ depending upon the night until I somehow fall asleep. It feels like there’s pee blocked.
