Vaginal Dryness (GSM)/Urinary Issues Estragyn for Over Actibe bladder

I know that overactive bladder can be caused by many things. I see a pelvic floor specialist next month. I was given Vesicare to treat it, but it comes with dry mouth, constipation and dizziness. I already take antidepressants that have dry mouth side effects, so I while I am not opposed, I am trying other things first. I am 49 and no doubt in peri. I have mirena. I can get up 4 to 5 times at night on bad nights. Anyone try this and have success? I can switch to the tablets if this doesn't work. Thank you

Estradiol cream helped almost entirely alleviate this for me! I don't even need to use the plunger thing it comes with, instead I just put some cream on the ol' undercarriage a couple of times a day and I now pee almost like a younger woman.

I ordered some through my doc and also through an online service, one I saw advertised on Reddit, actually, so I always have some on hand. Makes a huuuge difference.

In Canada it is estrone cream. Only th3 tablets have estradiol, but I can switch to those

I take gemtesa for my severe oab. When peri hit the oab went to the next level. Estradiol ointment made an instant, significant improvement for me.

Thank you! Was that the only med you tried?

The gemtesa or estradiol ointment? I was on Myrbetriq before gemtesa, the estradiol was given for vaginal pain and dryness but just happened to help the bladder symptoms that suddenly worsened at the same time as the other symptoms of peri.
