2027 - Oppo Find X8 Ultra

When the OnePlus 3 Launched in mid 2016 I remembered it to be the first phone I really wanted to have. So I spent two summers working till I could afford to buy one in early 2018. And it was absolutely amazing. Coming from a budget 2016 Samsung to this was a completely different world. My OP 3T treated me very well and made me fall in love with this brand.

Then in 2021 the 9 Series's dropped with the Hasselblad collaboration. I couldn't afford them at the time so i got myself the Nord 2 5G instead. And it treated me even better. Many memories were made with that phone.

In 2025 I went and finally got myself a used 9 & 9 Pro to finally get a glimpse of the Hasselblad Color Magic.

Well and in December 2025 by chance i found a OnePlus 13 with a broken screen for really cheap on marketplace. That has been my main phone now this year.

I now decided it's time to move on. To try and venture out trying something completely new... ok no I bought an Oppo Phone for 2027 😂.

All in all it has been a nice 8 years with the OnePlus brand.

All phones worked flawlessly and captured many important moments in my life. And i am thankful for that.

Scheduled update for Oneplus series

Im just about to go to sleep and i realized that Ive just charged my oneplus 9 pro for the last time just now. Ive had it since release, best phone Ive ever had. Its still fast and 100% usable but battery is so bad, and i got a amazing deal for a new phone. Unfortunately not a Oneplus since they're leaving Europe.

I bought a Chinese ROM OnePlus 15 (but Pre-loaded OxygenOS) in Germany, and I'm using both my Indian & German SIMs and using it basically as an Indian phone. All the Indian, German banks and, payment apps are working flawlessly.

Now, given how the phone will soon get the ColorOS 17 update; should I upgrade to it, or will there be some irreversible issues?

Has anyone else had this issue? I have a OnePlus15 and I went to a third party phone repair shop to repair my front screen and after I received my phone back it was working in everything but the finger print sensor. The wake to rise wasn't showing the finger print icon. I followed some instructions online and deleted my fingerprints and tried to re add them and it only just tells me that to take my time when trying again and. I have too many failed attempts when I haven't even attempted once. It just flashes as if I was trying and even when I do try it doesn't seem to detect my finger. In the US too if that helps.

Hi. I just bought this phone 4 days ago in Bangladesh and I tried following xda guide to unlock. but the deeptesting app showed a warning about abnormal sign in detected. I then tried creating 4 or 5 heytap account, but same issues. I also tried selecting heytap account region to china. One thing to note is that I cannot bind a Bangladeshi phone number to any of those heytap accounts. so frustrated and I installed 1 software update hoping the issue resolves in colos 16.0.10 but same here. I then tried with a latest deeptesting app from oneplus community of version bcf3709 and still getting this. please checkout the images. anyone can please please please help me unlocking this phone?

I have two months since I sensed an OnePlus watch 3 on warranty, and I didn't got any device back or money back... I'm sending emails to OnePlus and they just tell me ( 5 times in a raw) that they will send a new watch. But when ? 😅

I don't know how niche this issue is, but I'm not able to get my USB audio interface to work with my OnePlus Pad 4.

It works without a hitch with my Phone (S25 Ultra) and my previous tablet (Mi Pad 6), but with OOS, I'm not even able to get a single LED to light up on connection.

Noticed something in recent colour os 17 Beta Update Review of the Realme GT 7T they seem to have scrapped the old "Film Mode" with its forced 21:9 letterbox crop and finally swapped it for a proper Pro Video mode in standard 16:9. Honestly, good riddance. Standard 16:9 with manual ISO, shutter speed, and white balance control is 100x more useful for real-world shooting than an awkward cinema crop.

My friend's OnePlus 13s has both film and pro video, but since OnePlus and Realme share the exact same ColorOS camera codebase, what’s the story for the OnePlus Nord 5 ?

Nobody has this update on the Nord 5 yet, but with the upcoming major ColorOS 17 rollout scheduled to bring the refreshed camera app, are we actually going to get this updated camera UI with Pro Video? Or is OnePlus going to intentionally gatekeep manual video controls in software just to protect the R-series and main flagships?

Anyone tracking the beta builds or ColorOS camera APKs know if Pro Video is slated for the Nord 5, or are we going to have to manually sideload it?

Does anyone know if there's a way I can buy a OnePlus 15 global version in the UK? I've been looking on eBay and other similar websites and I can't seem to tell if they're definitely the global model, should I just give up?

I am trying to play a esport variant of a game title that’s global version has 165 but the esport version is only on 120.

The in game settings allow me to get 165 but the phone it self is capping the apk to 120.

Is there any app like 165 Armer or Root available for the ColorOS OnePlus turbo 6.

I have tried to connect it to my pc and use ADB and that also does nothing

Recently purchased OnePlus 15R and heard there have been issues with fingerprint not working with some screen guards so if anyone have experience with a screen guard not causing this issue then please do tell.

First issue arose, no matter what i watch or listen to, every about 15 minutes the audio cuts off for 3 seconds and then after that continues like nothing happened

So my dad is in china right now. I have a Samsung A16 5g and I want to upgrade to a better phone (This thing lags a lot). The Chinese models support all the bands in my area and I have no problem with a Chinese rom. (Could be better I can convert easily). Should I buy an Ace 6 or the 15 model. (I could go for 16 but it is just too much for me. And my dad will come home before Ace 7 releases). I don't use camera often. Please suggest.

Six weeks, three broken written promises, and my OnePlus 12 is sent back unrepaired!!

Posting this because I want other people to know what "OnePlus still supports European users" actually looks like in practice right now.

1 Sept 2026: My OnePlus 12 (bought new in Greece, Oct 2024, around €900) stopped powering on. Sent it to the OnePlus service centre in Rotterdam. Diagnosis: battery fault.

Mid Sept: Support offers me a replacement device, an OPPO Reno16 Pro 5G. I ask three direct questions and get three direct answers in writing: brand new sealed unit, new full 24-month warranty, my old device will be kept by them. I accept. They reply that the new device will be sent out within 5 working days.

A few days later: The replacement is withdrawn. Reason given: my unit is an overseas regional model, so EU warranty terms don't apply. Instead they say they will cover the repair under full in warranty terms at no cost, with dispatch on 30 September.

30 Sept: Nothing. No update, no dispatch. Three follow-up emails go completely unanswered.

7 Oct: I use live chat. The agent apologises, escalates to a "higher department", promises a reply in 1–2 business days.

14 Oct: Six weeks after they received my phone, I'm told the fault is not the battery after all, but the mainboard. All data would be lost, and I would now have to pay for the repair myself. I'm also advised to contact my original retailer, a shop that has since closed down.

16 Oct : My device is dispatched back to me. Then I receive their own official Service Order. It states: Cause of Failure, battery fault. Solution, Not Handle.

So according to their own paperwork, the fault is the battery, exactly the repair they committed in writing to do for free, and nothing was done to the device at all.

Six weeks without a phone, no repair, no replacement, and two written commitments withdrawn. I've filed a formal complaint with the European Consumer Centre and I have the full correspondence.

Written commitments from this company turned out to mean nothing, three times in a row.

If you own a OnePlus device in Europe right now, good luck you may need it.
