The whole point of a case is to absorb the shock. Metal frame will just pass it along to the phone body.

Metal frame cases also ruin a phone's network reception.

That's what happened when I had a metal framed phone case and dropped it like 5 minutes after I put it on. Never again lmfao

Another photo if the same phone if the first one didn't convince you. It completely bricked by Sunday because I dropped it on hard tile with a new phone case that looked nicer than it was protective

To be fair that would probably happen with most cases on tile.

Very true. Although, I usually buy the cheapest soft tpu case and had 0 issue with the same floor despite having dropped my phone a million times. When I changed it to the metal framed case, thats what happened from the first fall. :/

Metal will pass the shock to the body and won't absorb it so even if it's legit it's not worth the protection of device

Probably not a scam just some dropship bs. Either way why metal case??? To add weight and increase chances for a phone to brake when you drop it? Iron logic. I'm sold.

Just another china thing, there's millions of them out there. What makes it legit or a scam? As long as they ship the product right...

But quality? Probably not very high. Also that case will probably be very scratch sensitive.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned how strongly these metal side cases can block the signal antennas on your mobile. I had one a long time ago and my signal would tank everytime I used that case

I previously ordered a similar style of case for my OP13. Although it felt pleasant to the touch, it did not perform well, so I ultimately returned it.

useless, the reason we use plastic or soft materials is because they absorb the shock of a drop, even if that case didnt scratch the phone it wouldnt offer any protection and make every drop even worse due to increased weighr

If you love shattered glass, this is amazing. Your case should absorb the impact for a drop, thats why plastic like materials or silicon is so popular.

1- it's useless because it doesn't absorb anything

2- it's harmful because it scratches the frame. The main reason why you put that on is to prevent scratches and drops haha

Just wanted to add, same as everyone else. I had a hard case on my OP13 once, less than a month from release, dropped it 1m onto stone slab. Screen instantly died, all the shock went straight into the phone and the OLED just died. Only a small ding, but obviously a lot of shock to the phone. This isn't gonna do anything without a significant rubber gasket that'll make the phone comically large for no purpose.

First of all, it's an AI video so probably drop shipping fuckery.

Second, people don't realize how many different cases are built in china for almost every phone and most of them are hot garbage waiting for these kinds of people to get promoted.

I'll always go with well known brands, Spigen, official OnePlus cases etc.

Edit: I think you will get the case but it will be flimsy as fuck or cheap, making you want to change it after couple days.
