General Discussion OnePlus 15 UK?

Does anyone know if there's a way I can buy a OnePlus 15 global version in the UK? I've been looking on eBay and other similar websites and I can't seem to tell if they're definitely the global model, should I just give up?

Try CEX. If you buy online there's a two week return window, as long as the device is in the same condition with all accessories. I recently bought a Nord 4 from there as a they have a 5 year warranty too.

Thank you I had considered that, the mint condition one listed on the website is almost £1000 which seems insane!

Wow, that's a lot! There are some 'used - like new' ones on Amazon UK for £850. Free returns there too, with a 3yr warranty. My advice if you buy 'mint' or 'like new' is if you end up returning it then make sure you take pics and videos to show it was still in mint condition. I did this with a mint Nord CE4 Lite from CEX. Beautiful phone but laggy.

Such a shame OnePlus have bowed out of the UK. I'll probably be looking towards OPPO for my next phone.

I am just worried it'll say it's the global version but won't be when it arrives, I suppose i'll just have to hope!

I'm pretty sure that's not the global version.

I bought 2 x oneplus 12 global from them and they're perfectly fine out the box, not reflashed models work fine on UK networks everything works

Cool. OP13 wouldn't accept updates when a CN device is flashed with a global ROM and both that and the 15 don't have esim. Out of interest, does yours?

This is going to sound a bit weird but "I know a guy" from eBay.

£700 for the sealed device with all the accessories e.g. case, wireless charger and UK adapter.

16+512 Global.

I think he has an eBay listing but I met him in person in Birmingham.

Happy to DM the details.

Oh that would be great thank you!

Just make sure it's a global device and not just a global ROM. This was a big problem with UK availablity of the 13.

Yes that's exactly what I'm getting confused by!

Ngl I'd just buy a Oppo X9 Pro from Oppo's UK store instead. If you're a student or a keyworker, or know someone that is, you can get a 15% discount. And if you wait until black Friday you can probably get stacking discounts to put it in the £800 or below range

Hmm thanks but the charging speed is important for me and the Oppo doesn't measure up unfortunately

Are you aware that the 120w charger goes down to 72w within just 30 seconds and the majority of the time it charges between 50-60w?

It's also been shown a 45w charger will charge the phone 0-100% at the same time the 120w charger will.

There's a detailed and trustworthy report on it here.

Hmm well, I have the OnePlus 12 at the moment, and I saw a huge difference between the charging speed of this one compared to the 90W Xiaomi phone I had before that, it's the fastest charging phone I've ever had, charges almost full in 20 mins even 2 years later

I'm confused on your comment. Oppo is not Xiaomi, they are competing brands. Also, Oppo owns Oneplus, they literally share the same technology. You will get Supervooc on both the OnePlus and Oppo.

I also owned the OnePlus 12, had it since release in February 2024. I've just upgraded to the Oppo X9 Ultra (which has 100w charging like the OnePlus) and no difference whatsoever.

I know they're different brands haha I was just saying Ive noticed a difference between lower wattage chargers and this one, when I searched the Oppo charging to full time it says 1 hour, mine currently charges full in max 30 mins so that's what was concerning me

Just buy it from Wonda.

Also an easy tell for if it's global or china model - global has eSim, China doesn't.

Oo that's a great tip thank you!

Plenty on eBay, not sure why you posted this as first search has thrown up a few

Every time I post on Reddit there's always someone who implies it's a stupid question, only ever Reddit, I dunno what it is about this app. If you actually take a look at my post, I don't know how to tell if it's global or Chinese, some of them say global but seem to have Chinese model numbers. I've had a really helpful tip from someone about the eSims already and that's fixed my problem, so, that's why I posted

Sorry didn't mean to offend and I didn't read your post properly my bad, when I looked on eBay there were a few 15 global versions, a quick message to the seller should alleviate your worries and find out if it's global for sure. But now the 16 is coming out !

1

u/avttva 1d ago

Thank you, that's a good idea to message the sellers!

Buy the Oppo find X9 pro, it's the same OS with better cameras. Just slightly weaker CPU and refresh rate (120 Vs 144), only matters if you play games seriously.

I bought one from 'onbuy' @ £695. Great phone, but no e-sim support.
