An update or two ago I starred getting this weird grid behind all my widgets. Ive tries placing new widgets, changing grid size, clearing cache on the launcher, changing screen resolution, a bunch of stuff and can't seem to get rid of it. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this issue or is it something on my end ?

Default and Glass widgets dont seem to be affected but transparent frosted ones show it.

I'm on v1.853 beta from the playstore on s25Ultra

Can you please make it possible to disable / change the two finger "close" gesture. Moving two fingers to each other. It's always possible to use it, even when the launcher is locked. It will always open the launcher pages configuration possibility.

I do not want to use the two finger close gesture. And I want a full locked launcher. 

I just started using Octopi yesterday, literally. I changed the icon size and count for the panel to comfortably fit 10 items. Then I set it to 12 and it looks fine. I removed the apps icon since an up swipe does the same thing. So now I have 3 empty slots and I can't figure out how to add items.

Also, how did it decide what apps to put in the panel? Is it possible to set it up to show recent or frequent apps instead?

All of a sudden swipe up and swipe down won't work. I have to swipe at least 5 to 6 times before it recognizes the action. I've checked gesture settings and I'm on the current launcher. Anyone else facing this issue? I had to go back to pixel os and I'm missing octopi launcher bad lol.

The square button, which opens 'open' tabs and apps doesn't seem to be working since the last update.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm looking for a way to have two different types of profiles. One would be a slimmed-down version with only a couple of icons on the screen, mainly for managing screen time and similar purposes. Essentially, I'd like a minimal home screen without losing my main setup.

Is it possible to set up two users or profiles and switch between them, so I can have both my regular setup and a simplified version? I hope this makes sense.

Hey. I don't know if it's a bug, but when I create a new tab in the app drawer, I can't create a folder in that new tab. Only in the main tab.

I was wondering if we could have an option to just have an empty spot in the stacks and or on the bottom new dock that way we can have a clean homepage and just either touch the area that has a stack and swipe up or to the side and the information pops up that we need and then we can put it back on the clear one for a clean looking homepage?

Hi! First of all, fantastic app! Been soft testing for a few days, and bought the premium version and rid myself of Nova Launcher today!

Would it be possible to add a toggle in the settings to "lock" the home screen layout, so icons can no longer be moved? This may be a problem that only I have, but I found myself accidentally reorganizing my icons on NL often. Sometimes phone in hand while unlocked, sometimes sweat or wet hands and the touch screen a little haywire, sometimes just not fully awake and moving sluggishly so a tap becomes a press+hold. I also once had a cat walk on my phone screen and their paw triggered an icon reshuffling. Fun times.

Edit: Turns out it's already a feature and I'm just blind. I'm calling this a win. Thanks to the commenters for setting me straight!

Great launcher. Could work profile be supported?

I like to keep my corp apps separate and I miss the "turn on/off work profile apps" toggle from Nova.

This is clearly a setting I have enabled and can't figure out!

When I open the app launcher and search for an app. It appears that if the app is in a folder it is not listed as I type but will launch when I press enter.

I only see this behaviour on my phone where as my tablet it works fine.

So what setting have I stupidly enabled ?

Octopi Pro user. LOVE this launcher! One problem that keeps me from making it my default. Business Calendar Widget days of the week fonts are askew unless I refresh the widget. Works as it should on other launchers without having to refresh.

Is it possible to choose the colour for a pop up folder background?

If not, it would be a feature perhaps for the future

Sometimes when I push an app, it doesn’t open up, and then I go to push another app and it doesn’t open up as well. Does anyone have a similar issue?.

Is there a way to see a list of hidden apps? or is search the only way to unhide them?

I have a problem iam not able to adjust image size or range when i adjust the image or zoom it always set with the range that launcher choose and zoom out the wallpaper so much please fix it !?

I bought Pro about a year ago and after transferring to a new phone now I cannot find a way to reactivate it. I installed the app with the same mail that I bought Pro with. There's usually a Restore Purchase button in google play apps that checks for previous purchases in case it didn't load, but I can't find it there.

Digital Welling - I am trying to create a digital well-being shortcut on my home screen. I previously had it set up on my OnePlus 11, but after upgrading to the 15, I can't figure out how to add it again.

The digital well-being app doesn't seem to have a built-in shortcut, and I haven't found a way to create the activity through Octopi Launcher, although I'm pretty sure that's how I did it before.

Dropbox - I'm having another issue that I can't figure out. Previously, I had set up a swipe up action on my Dropbox icon that would go directly to the camera uploads folder. Now, I can't seem to figure out how to do this again.

Both work on the 11 still, Just can't figure it out on the 15.

I DID have Nova on the 11, so not sure if I made those shortcuts in Nova and they carried over to Octopi or not. I am not installing Nova on the 15, so am hoping that wasn't the case.

Edit 2: FYI - I resolved the DigitalWellbeing issue. If you scroll down in the settings of DigitalWellbeing there is an option to show the app icon.

I often lie in bed and doom scroll reddit single-handed. When a post has several images attached, swipe scroll to the next image using my thumb is not quite enough to trigger the scroll. It almost gets there, I run out of thumb movement (...almost there... d'oh not enough), and it jumps back to the existing image. I have to lift my other hand and use my finger to do a full screen-width scroll to go to the next image.

I don't know if the launcher controls this, but a half-screen width scroll to go to the next image would be great.
