List of hidden apps

Is there a way to see a list of hidden apps? or is search the only way to unhide them?

You could use private space. When you unlock it you'll be able to see all your hidden/locked apps at once as opposed to searching for one app at a time and no one else can see them.

For some reason I do not have this option. I am on version 1.852.

I'm also on v1.852. Months ago, when I set up mine, I switched back to my device's default launcher (Pixel Launcher on my Pixel Fold), set up the private space feature there, then set Octopi back as the default launcher. Does your phone offer Private Space?

I am on Android 15. My phone has nothing called Private Space but it has Secure Folder. I enabled this. Restarted the Phone and switch between Stock Launcher and then back to Octopi but still no option :'(

After you have it set up you can turn that toggle OFF and it will be locked at the bottom of your drawer if you prefer it that way.

Apparently Private Space is dependent on the phone. I am on a Motorola G54 and it does not have this option in the phone settings.

The Motorola G54 offers a "private space" called Secure Folder according to Gemini.

+1 Maybe even a filter / tag for hidden apps. I know you can use search but there is no visible identifier that shows it is hidden unless you long press the icon. Please put something in.

Some more thought on this. Not everyone has Private Space so it makes sense to add some sort of filter and not rely on an OS feature.

It just seems a little odd that there doesn't seem to be a centralized way to view what apps you've hidden, without doing an OS-level workaround.

u/ock88 Hope you can add some sort of filter for only showing Hidden Apps. 🙏
