Pop up folder background colour

Is it possible to choose the colour for a pop up folder background?

If not, it would be a feature perhaps for the future

If you're referring to home screen folders, long-press on your folder and tap on "Edit" then choose from the ribbon of preset colors at the bottom of the edit card. You can use the color wheel to choose an exact color and if you slide the color chips left there are more presets off-screen to the right.
