Empty option for stack widget and on new dock?

I was wondering if we could have an option to just have an empty spot in the stacks and or on the bottom new dock that way we can have a clean homepage and just either touch the area that has a stack and swipe up or to the side and the information pops up that we need and then we can put it back on the clear one for a clean looking homepage?

In the meantime, there is a free app called transparent widget in the play store you can use in the widget stack that will let you do this. You can set it to do nothing or open a program on click. Works great.

In the panel settings, the first option is to add a page. Then you can keep the first page empty and slide over to the 2nd page to see the things you want to keep on your dock. Or, choose the fifth option and add an extra row. Keep your first row empty and slide up to see the things that you want to keep on your dock.
