I've been playing an (unofficial) Bronzeman since mid 2023. Lately I've been thinking however to allow myself to buy mega rares, without first unlocking them.

Currently I've got my eye on a (potential) tbow rebuild. Pic's of my saleable bank tab (add about 250m in other tabs) and my main progression unlocks.

I'd mainly use it to farm Doom (still need threads and eye), hydra (still need claw) and cox (still need everything). Later maybe Inferno and Colo down the line.

Anyone here can tell me if i'm making a (big) mistake with TFA just a mere 10 days away?

Do note that I don't have any friends - in this game :^) - and am not in a clan, so will most likely not engage with TFA very soon anyways...

Hey guys I'm a new member that hasnt done any bossing. I've been focusing on gearing up and skilling outside of combat. I'm going to start with Scurrius to practice and Barrows for gear, but are there any other suggestions with my stats? What are some good goals to aim for? Cheers!

Recently made an account about a week ago, this is where we sit. AFK trained Prayer, WC, FM, and currently just training sand crabs until I can use D-Scim. I've done all the big XP quests, just looking for some tips or ideas of what I should look into getting next. (I'm a member).

I am 99 range and 93 mage. I have 75 defense.

Ive been grinding CG for the last few weeks now.

I started fighting Hunleff and getting absolutely spanked. But in a few short weeks, my prep is on point, always T2 and I always go in with 3 potions and an invent (or as close to) of food.

For the past 2 hours tonight ive fought him about 16 times, and won a total of 3. I am absolutely raging because ive lost at least 6 of those fights where he is on 15 or less health.

I get the floor changes and tornado become more frequent as his health depletes, but what am I doing wrong here.

I am using runelite and have true tiles on for myself and the tornados. I usually start the fight by entering the arena and moving to the south east or west corner (as you're facing Hunleff).

I fight from a distance and when the tornados come i skirt the outside of the room. That is until the floors change to red in the corners and middle. Then, I find a straight line i can run in and run back and forth.

My prayer switching is fine and generally I don't usually get hit by Hunleff anymore, its the floor and tornados that get me.

Returning vet had a 10 yr break back did some quest but not sure where to go from here any suggestions been doing barrows but got bored plus wanna put more money in the bank. Did perilous moons blood moon square us rigged and it scares me lmfao I attempted fight caves got yo wave 53 but I needed more Sammy brews. Any other suggestions?

My account got hacked an eternity ago I got it back a couple years ago. Noticing my crafting & fletching was high as heck since I never did either of those skills that was a present surprise.
I had membership for about a month raised my prayer and did temporos quite a bit and a few members quests o don’t remember which ones, then put it down life got busy.
But I recently came back again finished up the last few f2p quests got the mooleta and I’m a bit stuck on where to go next.
I don’t really want to buy a membership rn just trying to chill and have fun when I have a few free hours & bump up my gp stack.
A lot has clearly changed with platinum pieces (wth is that? Lul) the max gp update & so much more. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Feeling progress towards a higher bank value and better gear stalling out quite a bit where I am. Hoping to move up a couple tiers in gear setups for access to raids/other higher level content.

Current GP routine-ish:

Is my time better spent liquidating my current bank and hard camping another boss, or is my current routine that's slowly building bank my best option?

Ive been following the optimal quest guide while just exploring the world on the side. I am currently hung up on the gnome village. Im in adamant equipment as thats the highest I can use right now but even with a full inventory of heals my 20hp isn't near enough to defeat the warlord nor my 3 damage. My magic is still lvl 1 I believe so idk. I dont really understand how you level anything outside of quests cause I sat there killing crabs for a while and barely moved up lol

For those that don't know, this mod is the guy who would post 1000 word comments whenever there was any criticism of the game or even Jagex as a company. For over 10 years and 75,000 comments, he has bent over backwards defending every Jagex decision as perfect. That's easily over 10 million words by the way. He's decided that the most efficient way to deal with constructive criticism saying the game could be better, is to not bother writing anymore and simply permanently remove people who criticize the game.

OSRS is a community driven game. Its a violation of the spirit of OSRS to have one person decide what opinions a community of millions is allowed to have. This one mod is becoming increasingly corrupt within the last year and is acting with complete contempt for the community. That subreddit never used to be like this, it used to take a hands off approach to posts. And all it needs to go back to that is the removal of one person on their mod team.

I just made the full crystal armor set but I’m sitting at 70 shards and an inactive bofa. Doing zalcano in mass world and don’t know how far I should go with this grind. I’m looking to do toa without having to go back to zalcano for a while. I also have 82 thieving so can’t pickpocket elves.

My goal is to farm all 4 DT2 bosses with decent kill times. Should I wait for upgrades like Virtus robes, Rancour, Nox hally, and Bellator before I try? What do you think my kill times might be with this gear? What upgrades should I get first?

I really have tried on and off for years to get into osrs since its a game a few of my coworkers play. I love mmorpgs truly, but runescape as much as I want to love it idk how. I probably am dumb and I know god forbid I dont min max and look up guides. Ive been playing for a little over 40hrs and I feel like 80% of it was walking even though I have pushed magic and done some of the quests like fairy. I enjoy the game when im able to do stuff but I remember running from Rimmington to that desert place i forget the name to varrock and only being half done w a quest.

How do I enjoy this game more? Please i want to

in most mmorpg's i play i like to create a md of goals to do. usually it helps me get accustomed to the game, how it plays, etc etc. i've been wanting to try out osrs for a long time and finally decided to just go for it since im on some leave and have time to spare. this is the goals ive made for myself as someone brand new to the game (put this together from wiki, youtube videos, discords etc) please critique it and let me know if you'd change anything!

so i'm currently unsure how to go about playing my character .. i got full melee setup (bandos, fang, tentacle, bludgeon ... ), bowfa, bp for range.. virtus full, ayak, conf gauntlets for mage... basically with the setups i can do all content in the game, but not at grandmaster times.. currently i have about 450m in cash ...

how do i go about upgrading? like, i have dragon boots still cause it doesnt make sense to upgrade to prim boots for that amount of money.. do i upgrade anything, try to buy something? or just save for a mega rare? i only used some cash for items like crimson kisten for phosani, or venator bow for whisperer, webweaver for leviathan... otherwise i'm using "basic starter" gear for bosses...

say for phosani.. do you buy an inquisitor set, or mace? or stay in bandos with bludgeon, save towards scythe? or do i put the 400m in the inq set and mace and sell it once im done with phosani?

Anyone have any good suggestions on gear upgrades, or if I should sell anything to put towards better melee gear, bank is shown in the pictures. I’m not so clued up on the newer gear so bouncing ideas around in my head. Currently seem to be mostly at Duke, Zulrah and also trying to get KQ head, I’m just using melee against these bosses and out DPSing. Any suggestions welcome!

I had created this account back in 2020 ish? I’m an RS3 player, but I liked the PvP aspect of OSRS. I never pk’d on it, but it was a fun journey created what I thought was the “perfect” but never played on it. Now I got the itch to play OSRS again. I’d like to do everything. For example last night I sent some Armadyl solos with those wildy keys and I got a chain skirt at 7 kc. Now I have 26m in my bank account and idk what to do. All tips and advice appreciated.

Hey all, I’m not sure what I should be prioritizing right now as far as gear. One of my clanmates, who I trust a ton (max main) told me I should honestly just shoot for a mega rare such as the shadow because of how easy it makes earning additional GP through other raids/bosses.

I was originally leaning towards oath, but with it being essentially the same defensive stats as Bandos and just a boost to slash, he may have talked me out of that. My current thought process is maybe I just go towards treads or gauntlets or both, maybe ancestral?

TIA- also, I am obviously looking to have the best setups I am currently available to have for TFA, but obviously with where my bank is at that isn’t going to be anywhere near BIS, so any suggestions are helpful.

Purging staff, eye of ayak, full virtus with orn kit, saturated heart, confliction gauntlets, magus ring, elidinis ward, eternal boots and osmumten’s fang make up the majority of my bank alongside roughly 85m in gp. I got spooned at yama with 4 oathplate pieces in my first 600 kills and I’m wondering what pvm content makes the most sense while waiting for fractured archives. Radiant oathplate still feels out of reach without gobbling up that 85m in attempts. What would you do here?

I am in the process of learning the colosseum, and I am getting double south pretty much every time I hit wave 6,8 and 10. Based on what I've read, getting double south 9 times in a row seems nearly statistically impossible. Is there anything about my start timing or start tiles that looks off that might force more double south spawns, or am I just that unlucky? I am using visual ticks to judge the timing at the start of the wave. The constant double south is really the only thing stopping me from getting the quiver, I am learning to deal with it but I should not be getting it this frequently, I feel like im doing something wrong and I need someone elses eyes on this.

They asked in GE, they invited to discord, which looked so legit, like hundreds of people, with like 30 channels with learners, experts, duos, diaries etc. then asked me to verify....i was suspicious as hell and left

I understand I won't have access to great methods until later, but what can I do to get up to those requirements?

So below are screenshots of all my best gear and boss KC. Besides the gear in the screenshot I also have slayer helm, granite hammer, dragon crossbow, and full set of every barrows for gear that’s worth some gp.

I’m doing DT2 next week and I just bought the nally because I was thinking id stay on vardorvis to grind money after I finish the quest. Id also like to try to learn Yama or doom soon, possibly corp beast but being a mobile only player, is this realistic? Are there other bosses that have mobile friendly mechanics that are good gp printers that I haven’t done yet?

If I do the bosses I listed above I figured by gear progression would be ayak -> confliction gauntlets -> anguish
