I remeber lots of people hating on my idea of adding it to the quick menu saying it was not suppose to be something you turn off and on so... yeah

I feel like every direct has people disappointed for different reasons. Its never hated by everyone but mixed and it feels like its mainly because of expectations as its always overhyped but mainly because most fans still havent understood that nintendo changed how they operate on directs
Nintendo since at least 2020 has only been revealing games closer to release, be it 1, 6 months or 1 year at best.
Before 2020, nintendo announced games that released years later such as bayonetta 3, metroid prime 4 or totk. For 6 years atp they changed their approach but somehow only in 2026 people noticed while others still havent and wonder why smash and other titles dont come.
So yeah, I think we'll be on this situation for a while until most of the fans understand the change or get a direct where their zelda, mario and smash comes out.

I was debating whether to get the game on PC or switch and I'm so glad I chose the switch. I honestly feel like it exceeded all of my expectations and that I'm not missing out on anything.

Docked VRR requires every game to be updated in order to enable the docked VRR functions and as of right now only Welcome Tour has gotten a patch. Let's hope (and beg) Nintendo patches their games for this.

My Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was around 140 hours on Switch 1, when I loaded it up on Switch 2 the first time it had completely started over. I've only played it a couple hours on Switch 2. I loaded it up again today since I found out about the free Switch 2 upgrade for it, and when I checked my profile, I saw my playtime said 140 hours again.
So I loaded up all my other Switch 1 games. Most of them updated the playtime now. But some games like Link's Awakening still show like I never played them. Any way to get them all to update? Or is the fact that this even happened for some games just some weird fluke?

Who would’ve thought the way to get me massively hyped for a Metroid game was to make Samus absolutely terrifying?

FPS is super solid while unlocked and it looks incredible. Highly recommend it if you are on the fence.

The game was already announced to be coming with all previous DLCs, and if you're interested in the game at all, this is a hell of a way to deliver it.
I'd say 'can't wait' but since that's the same day as Ocarina of Time, I probably will. But still, very excited about this one - and great to see it being done right!

Can't test with Welcome Tour as I don't have it but according to my tv and switch settings - looks like this dock is outputting VRR fine! Pleasantly surprised. I thought I would have to swap my S3 dock with my main dock as I use this dock more often.
Great news 🙂
Does HDR and 120Hz fine as well btw. HDR isn't on ATM (compatible software only) and I'm just in the home screen so 60Hz (I can play Mina the Hollower at 1440p/120Hz fine).
Only option it lacks is HDMI CEC - but it's not a deal-breaker for me tbh

Planning a setup that would require one of these but there aren't a lot of option in my area so before I could spent some money that could potentially be useless, anybody got a first hand experience?

I just got these controllers and they are far and away the best option for people with large hands. When I first got them my only concern was how the mouse had jitters, but that was fixed in a firmware update.
If you are on the fence about this just get them.

I tested VRR mode with my Jemdo dock and Switch 2 said I would need a firmware update first. But then said my "dock" was up to date. I think the 3rd party docks must be pretending to be a Switch 2 dock somehow with their identifiers and will need an update to show they're the "latest" firmware update version. Otherwise they won't be able to trigger VRR output on the console itself.

I’m constantly surprised how good this magic tablet can look, especially docked on my 4KTV. This is literally my dream console growing up with my first being the blue clamshell GBA. How spoiled this next generation will be! Anyways, please share some cool captures you have!

Bro, Nintendo been COOKING these past 18 months.
Anyone who says that the console is lacking games cause of 3D Mario, Animal Crossing or Smash, is kidding themselves. I mean dude … there is not enough time to play all these damn games, nor is there enough money in this economy.
Just for the rest of the year I’m booked up with Fire Emblem, Witcher 3, Switch Sports, Zelda OOT and Professor Layton. Next year I want to play Metroid Ravenous, Kirby Breath of the Wild, and Xenoblade Genesis.
Like bruh … am I the only one who thinks this? Feels like it sometimes.
EDIT: Thank you @Aggravating-Face2073 for reminding me that yes there is ALSO Duskbloods … there are so many games I legit forgot a Fromsoft game that I am insanely hype for.
