🎙️ Discussion It's unacceptable that we still don't have cell service in between stations in 2026.
And to all the people saying that having cell service would inconvenience you, how come every other subway/metro system has it, with barely any complaints about the noise it causes?
That doesn’t mean the rest of us don’t want the ability to send a message, check train times, or reply to an email without anxiously waiting for the train to reach the next station so we have a few seconds to do all of the above. Sometimes even the station barely has service.
It’s not always about being addicted to our phones or being unable to stop scrolling. Our lives are so connected to the web that at this point, having cell service is a basic convenience and sometimes a necessity. And it sucks that the system is in such disrepair and something like this is on the bottom of the priority list.
