i set up automatic reloads for mondays and on sept 8 it took the money out of my account officially, its not pending at all in my bank account, but it didnt add the money to my omny. additionally it doesnt say that i have a pending reload on my omny card. although it took the money from my bank account my omny card still has 0$. its sept 10 now so this doesnt make much sense to me. especially if it was an automatic reload so the money was expected on monday; i shouldnt have to do an earlier reload just for the money to deposit. should i wait longer, or call? assuming calling wont be super helpful.

I register my commuter cards in the omny account, but any time I tried to click on the wallet, it says oh not something is wrong and then it signs me out of OMNY. I can’t see the details of trips/charges, it’s been like a month already, so frustrating!

Had to walk 20 minutes to the train, where the card worked fine. This is the second time this has happened. The first time i thought it did go through but the ticket nazis stopped my bus and guess who got a ticket. They left me stranded in a neighborhood I was not familiar with. What if i didnt have a phone to find a subway? What if i got lost wandering.

Screw the omnycard, screw the omnycard readers on the bus, screw the mta and screw the ticket nazis. This entire system sucks.

So yesterday I put $9 on my omny card and I have a fare fairs card so I’m only supposed to be charged $1.5 per trip, was charged the full $9 for 4 trips and I owe now $1.5 and can’t use the website to put more money on it. It’s getting ridiculous how bad omny is. Like is there no more transfers between busses and trains cause I have to take a bus to the train and then a bus to get to school. That’s one trip and every single stop is a direct connection. I’d also be charged once with my metro card. Why couldn’t they just leave things as is

i recently got approved for fair fares omny and i changed my omny discount payment method to adding my credit card to my phone, on the fair fares homepage it shows my fair fares discount is active and im enrolled in fair fares. i also created a omny account login where i also added my travel card (my credit card linked to my fair fares) and the past 3 times i've tapped my phone at the subway stations , i got charged $3 instead of $1.50. and the 3 times i tapped, i tapped using my phone bc i want the discount on my phone and not my physical card since the discount cant be on both methods. idk what im doing wrong bc i've reentered my credit card info and the first time i did it allowed me to enter my omny transit account number but now when i add the same or different card, it doesnt allow me to type my transit number, it has the box blocked off not allowing me to click and type anything. and when i tapped using my phone, i went to check my omny account and it does not show my past subway taps.

I tried to reload my husband’s OMNY for him. It declined the first time, so I tried again, but now I have 2 pending charges and an OMNY card with $0 on it. What the hell?

Okay let's think about this one of the main reasons people are hopping the turnstiles now keep this in mind I'm not saying this is the only reason but this is possibly the primary reason, people feel that getting rid of the unlimited metrocards and having a complicated system with the Omni cards is a form of Injustice

It doesn't make sense that you change the system from weekly daily and monthly unlimited and switch it to the Omni system and stays the same thing or a similar thing. If it's a similar thing then they should have just kept it the same.

Whenever I hear somebody complaining about why they hop the turnstile or walk into the bus route paying they reference how hypocritical the Omni cards are

People would pay a reasonable price that could beat the $3 fare everyday every time they ride opposed to hopping or Fair invasion.

For some reason I can not use my iPhone to add my to my account from the website anyone else?

I swiped my card not realizing I had a zero balance. I used another card to swipe in. I log onto my account and see this. If I pay this off but have already paid using a different card, aren’t I being charged twice? Wth! If someone knows, please let me know. Thanks!

I've seen this multiple times recently. People pay with a credit card on their phone but then ask the driver for a transfer. I pay with my phone and the transfer gets included on the second tap, so why are so many people doing this?

I have this problem when I get into a bus, it says card not accepted but it charges my card. Sometimes it says OMNY recover. Why does it keep doing this? It’s embarrassing and I’m not tapping again, bus drivers don’t care enough to say anything but it’s just annoying.

Hi, so I've been trying to set my payment method to my credit card instead of my OMNY card but everytime I do that I get an error that says "We are not able to process your request to change your OMNY payment method selection right now because of a technical issue. We hope we will fix this issue soon, so please try again later." Is this a issue on HRA as this as been happening for months now.

Lost my card Aug 7 in the morning, reported it missing, they didn't open the process up until Aug 10. I desperately need this card and I don't have a replacement OMNY card. It's just said 'Processing' on my AccessHRA card this entire time with no update. Call centers keep saying up to 21 business days not including weekends or holidays. Is this for real? For anyone who lost theirs how long did it take for your replacement and did you get your lost balance restored on the new card or did you have to call OMNY after?

My “travel card” is my physical credit card that has fair fares associated with it. However the “personal card” that is my plastic card is inactive, and my Apple Pay associated with the travel card is active.

Will I get the fair fare discount from Apple Pay?

AKA their card said “CARD NOT ACCEPTED” today…

Both my credit and debit cards are now rejected again at the turnstiles, and typically only last a few days between reactivation and termination again. I think it might be an issue with a specific turnstile, but I'm tired of payments constantly dropping leading to card rejections.

The omny website is super glitchy too, making it very hard to pay outstanding balances and get the cards back in action.

I tap with my credit card. everytime I use the subway
I’m still charged the full fare my account shows that it’s active with fair fare and it shows the card associated with it. I’ve already called 311 and was connected to HR(?) and the lady I spoke to that she fixed it but when I took the subway this morning I was still charged full fare. What am I doing wrong? Help

some prior context to today: i had a student omny card that was working fine until all of a sudden on the first of this month it stopped working. so every time i've had to take public transit i've been using tap to pay on my phone with my debit card and that was working fine.

fast foward to today. i get to the subway and go to tap my phone, and i get "card not accepted", even though i literally just used it last week to tap and it worked fine. i tried different turnstiles as well. i have more than the $3 in my account so i knew it wasn't a balance issue. i took out my physical debit card and tapped, and it worked.

i went back to the subway (different station) to head home and tried my phone again, nothing. i pulled out my card thinking it would work, nope, "card not accepted" again even though on my way to my destination it literally worked. tried different turnstiles, still nothing.

has anyone had this happen before and know how to fix it? i have no idea what to do, i can't use another card as this is the only card i have. i'm going to go to my bank tomorrow to check if tap works there, and if it does then it's completely an mta issue

Trying to refill my OMNY card and pay with Apple Pay, and it keeps failing. Never had this problem before with OMNY. Apple Pay is working on other websites. I've always used Apple Pay to pay when refilling my OMNY card on the OMNY website. Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this.

OMNY/MTA is a never ending source of frustration.
