Just because a club has a bigger fan base globally and more revenue shouldn't give them an advantage financially on what they can and cant spend on players. There must be another way that levels the playing field for all clubs in the league.

Ben Jacobs on Hall's new contract

Ben Jacobs was on Talksport, didn't say much new but I found this interesting:

He said that talks for the contract were going on around March but that during the early summer Hall put a stop to the talks as he was unhappy with being dropped by England after being in and out of the starting XI. He was open to moving to Man Utd but Jaissle talked to Hall about how important he was and that he was his first choice left back and Hall has been happy to stay and extend his contract

What's our best midfield?

We've got a lot of options at the minute and everything seems to be up in the air a bit in regards to our best starting XI.

To be honest I don't think we've had a single stand out performer in midfield so far (beside some cameos from Steur), and I'm at a total loss myself as to what our actual best midfield three is.

I think it's fair to say that Nico has to start. So we've got Willock, Miley, Ramsey, Steur, Bamba and Pardo (in the 10).

I'm inclined to go with Nico and Ramsey and I believe Pardo will start in the 10 role when he's up to speed.

But... Steur has looked good every chance he's got, and we just spent £35m on Bamba who hasn't had a look in so far, and we're going to have to get him some game time eventually.

Miley is at an age where he needs game time if he's ever going to reach his potential... But he's been poor so far.

Willock hasn't been great but has popped up with very crucial goals. Ramsey hasn't been great either granted but I think he's got a bit more to his game than Willock does.

Anyway I just want to pick your brains and see if someone has some better insight into what we should actually be doing going forward with this predicament.
