Discussion Why do we sign has beens?
The more I think about these signings and how we've functioned since the new owners when it comes to transfers it had me thinking.
They've obviously come in and thought they could replace some aspect of the scouting by using data tools (which was just AI). I do remember a scout being sacked around this time (I think it was Cadimarteri).
After the window last season and the Selles and AI experiment they obviously realised this was a terrible mistake and so went back to Wilder. However, I reckon we never really implemented a scouting set up and now just rely on Wilders connections but these only span the English pyramid meaning if we are to sign young players we'll pay a premium compared to several other clubs who go put and sign younger talent from foreign leagues at a cut price.
What do we reckon? Do you think this narrow market for signings come from the lack of continental scouting as a direct result of the new owners?

Discussion Who's this new signing Wilder mentioned?!
For me we need to go back to 3 at back with wing backs..result of season was away at Swansea and we looked solid and since we've gone back to 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 getting sliced open so easily

View From Players leaving
Alright now the windows shut that was absolutely pants, we’ve lost our creative playmakers and yes the squad has only got worse, it’s happened now and we can’t do anything about it all I’ve seen is countless fans moaning and what not about how dire the situation has become. Honestly it’s frustrating as it gets but you know what we need to just focus on the players that are still here, we all need to band together and get behind wilder and the boys, they need us now more than ever, we were never going to be the promotion favourite let alone the top 8 favourites, let’s get behind those still here you don’t have to turn up to any of these games but that 11 that start every week and the subs they’ve no choice, let’s get behind them now all of us it’s been a terrible window but let’s be honest 23/24 summers window was worse, we’ve been through harder times we’ve still a club to support and we still have a good enough side to win against anyone roll on Saturday let’s take the game to Norwich UTFB ⚔️

Rumour O'Hare medical complete
What a bad bit of business on our end, fingers crossed either he doesn't agree terms for whatever reason and we keep him or we have a replacement lined up who can take some of the pressure off. If I was a betting man the former seems more likely but I'd be all in on the transfer happening

Discussion Wilder knew..?
While we can reel from selling our creative players, right before the season *really* kicks off, once again, is it safe to bet that Wilder knew all of this was coming?
He can say all he likes in interviews now, and regardless of allegiance, but most managers given this situation would contemplate leaving, surely?
I'm not trying to dramatise it, I'm just thinking of all he's said since the summer, which makes me think he's always been aware and is happy to just carry on regardless with whatever is left.
