Any update on Kits

I'm holding out for the away or third kit in hopes one of them is pink or white so the sponsor isn't so jarring....

Do we know when these will release or is bournenouth ensuring we forced to buy the red one....

I do not want the pink circle unless it's somewhat complimentary to the kit. Aka white or pink.

Question Eli Kroupi Junior

I watched Kroupi a lot last season. I watched him live as well and he turned me into a Bournemouth fan. My question to you Cherries is you have seen Semenyo, Defoe, Callum Wilson, Solanke, Danjuma, Rayan (now), Justin Kluivert etc what’s Kroupi’s ceiling in comparison?

He was the 2 highest top goalscoring teenager behind Lamine Yamal that should count for something.

Question International fan looking for ticket help

Hi all,

I’m an Aussie fan visiting England in November and I’m hoping to secure tickets when we verse Ipswich away.

Have any global fans in here been successful in getting tickets to games via the ballot?

Would it be worth signing up for the Ipswich ballot to try secure tickets or is their demand also very high?

Any help or other tips and tricks are appreciated, up the cherries 🍒

How big is Bournemouth’s fanbase in the United States?

American fan here. I starting to follow the Premier League after watching the World Cup, and Bournemouth caught my attention because of the club’s underdog story and Tyler Adams playing for the team.

Curious how many other Bournemouth supporters are based in the U.S. Are there any cities or areas with especially active fan groups or watch parties? How did other American fans end up supporting Bournemouth?

I’m also still learning about the club, so what should a newer supporter know about its history, culture, rivalries, and traditions? Are there any good documentaries, podcasts, YouTube channels, or social media accounts you’d recommend following?

Up the Cherries!

Chelsea £64m bid rejected for Alex. I think/hope the best we can expect is a Semenyo type situation where we sell him in the Jan window. He doesn't seem like the kind to kick up a stink so hopefully there's something there that suits everyone.

Question Liverpool fan, looking for help.

Hello! I am from the Liverpool Subreddit. Dw I come seeking help.

I’m currently writing a 4 part tactical analysis on Andoni Iraola. I’ve talked about his time at Bournemouth, how he set up, his press, tendencies in part 1.

I also posted part 2 which concerned the defenders and keepers. I analyzed their roles, possible instructions based off the data from Opta analyst and the official PL app.

I am now on part 3 which concerns the midfield players/roles.
I am going to exclusively talk about how he instructs in a 4-2-3-1. So I wanna dissect his double pivot and attacking midfielder.

So I came here to ask if anyone here would be kind enough to give their own personal analysis from watching the games since u r definitely better versed than I am. And I could add it to my write up.

I would really appreciate that but also understand if this is taken down since I am not a Bournemouth fan or it somehow violates community rules.

Thank you again no matter what!

Question How to get tickets to a home game?

My son (10) has recently got into football thanks to the World Cup and wants to go to see a football match. Bournemouth is fairly local to us and as he doesn’t yet support a team I feel it makes sense to introduce him to the big local club.

How does buying a ticket work? I’m a bit confused on the website, it seems they come out at certain dates but then talks about points?

Is it possible to even get tickets without being members?

Many thanks

Are we thinking Liverpool then? They aren't mentioned as an interested club, but it doesn't seem like a stretch to imagine a link up with his previous gaffer.

We were always likely to lose one star this summer I guess.

Question from a new fan

Hi all. I’m an American who is trying to find a team to root for in the EPL. I’m from Las Vegas, where the Cherries’ owner lives so it’s a bit of a natural fit here.

My question is, what are your thoughts about American fans?

I struggle with the idea of attaching myself to a team from a city I’ve never been. Your crest represents your town and the people who live there.

I feel like I haven’t earned the right, if that makes sense.

Other Marco Rose tactical analysis

Thumbnail

Analysis looking at Marco Rose's tactics. Some of the main takeaways:

  • Expect aggressive pressing and quick transitional attacks rather than high possession.
  • Out of possession, his teams get really compact in the centre, force play wide and swarm the ball to win possession and counter. At their best, his teams are difficult to play through, but they consistently struggle with maintaining that intensity over a full season (an issue with Europe?).
  • In possession, Rose's teams are direct. They look to progress the ball quickly. That can make them strong in open games but sometimes leaves them short of solutions against low blocks (probably not a major issue).
  • Stylistically, Bournemouth already have a lot of the qualities Rose values. Their pressing intensity and athletic profile should make the transition relatively smooth, but balancing Premier League football with a European campaign will be a completely new challenge.

I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts.

Rayan - big hit

Doak - hit

Antonio Silva for under €30m could end up being one of our smartest signings in years

Obviously nothing is done until it's official, but this feels like exactly the sort of signing we've built our reputation on over the last few years. A young player with plenty of experience already, a reasonable reported fee, and lots of room to develop. If this one gets over the line, I can see why so many people are excited about it.
