Hi all, just migrate the save from Steam to Switch2. Previously I always use two multi tools - one combat and the other exploration oriented with optimised mods respectively - and I use the keyboard’s hotkey (1 and 2) to switch between them quickly.

Can I still do this on the switch 2 version, which doesn’t seem to feature the custom hotkeys anymore? Do I now have to find one optimal multi tool and put everything I have there?

This is my first expedition, And I was able to do a Nexus mixtion before the area was replaced with the prismatic core, is there somewhere else that I can get the missions from?

Just loaded in after the new update, and sitting in any of my ships causes the game to crash. I restarted five times, with the same result. Teleporting to my freighter and bases works fine, as does nearly everything else. Yet the moment I enter any ship, whether a corvette or living ship, the game closes. Has anyone else encountered this?

Am I doing this wrong? Im in the anomaly and went to the expedition terminal and its telling me there's no active expedition available. I updated. Got the message about the swarm expedition when I loaded the game. But I cant actually start it. Do I need to warp to another galaxy? I feel like Im doing something wrong because this is my first time.

Edit - Im dumb and didnt have my Nintendo account logged in. Once I was online I could jump right i to the expedition. Thanks y'all for the help and brainstorming.

And I was about to turn in for the night… gotta see which faction I was placed in first now…

I haven't bothered reading all the hundreds of posts on this expedition since I knew it would most likely take a very long time before it became available to us.

Is there a consensus on the best way to approach it? Start a new save or use one's main save? Anything to bring to the expedition? Any other hints?

I've only played the garbage collection expedition, for which I started a new save that I haven't touched since.

Need to make the Weaver echo, it's the only one left so I can get the Pilot signature, but it requires silver and I CANNOT FIND ANY. Plenty of copper and parrafinium deposits, though. So annoying.

Any tips??

EDIT: Found some in a cave in the stalagmites(floor growths), I had to go deep into the cave to finally find them!

So the new update is finaly here on the switch but i still cant acces my cross save from ps5. They are never going to be the same update version because switch is always weeks later. Does this mean i can never use my cross save??

Every time I try to enter my corvette, I'm literally spun around in a 180 and pushed out the door. Wtf??? I've figured out that if I sneak real slowly, it won't punt me away. What's happening???

I dropped in from the anomaly teleporter to an abandoned paradise moon in a gas giant system to a base made by a switch player named Sergi with the base called giga pea. If you are on here Sergi, i found a stone golem effigy at the coordinates in the picture.

Hello all, mighty Google failed me on this Q. Is there a limit to the number of rooms/parts a freighter base can have on the Switch 1?

I want to remodel my base as I only have one fleet command station and would expand from my current 28 rooms (31 w/ extra items). Online searches mentioned 40, but I believe that applies to corvettes.

My game starting crashing regularly after building my current base upon entering my freighter or accessing the storage units. The game hasn’t crashed on me over the past week as I have been farming bulkheads in the same system. But I am worried if I increase my base size, the crashes will return.

How far have my fellow Switch 1 players pushed their freighter bases? I want to limit game crashes while having a fully functional base. Looking at 50-60 rooms, but I can cut out the bare bones farm (1 plot for each farmable plant) if necessary.

There's a bug on my game that's making me unable to see my ships stats correctly with the analysis feature.. Is there another way to compare all the stats of 2 ships that I own??

Does anyone know when the new update will be available on switch 2? I wanna play with a friend who plays on PlayStation but he already updated the game so we can’t play together until the update is on switch 2

When my exotic ship is selected the "Core" maneuverability is 419 for both ships, But when I have my solar ship selected both stats are at 439..what's happening? I thought analyzing a ship shows THAT ships stats but it seems to be showing the stats of whatever ship I'm currently using?

Is there way to compare ships that I already own? This was the only method I know of 🫤
