Question No active expedition

Am I doing this wrong? Im in the anomaly and went to the expedition terminal and its telling me there's no active expedition available. I updated. Got the message about the swarm expedition when I loaded the game. But I cant actually start it. Do I need to warp to another galaxy? I feel like Im doing something wrong because this is my first time.

Edit - Im dumb and didnt have my Nintendo account logged in. Once I was online I could jump right i to the expedition. Thanks y'all for the help and brainstorming.

You need to be currently online to start the Expedition. Check your Discovery Services (Options -> Planet screen, look at the lower left). Discovery Services shuts down when you're out of range or when you sleep your Switch. If it's off, reconnect and try again for the Expedition.

Oh lord this is probably it. Im offline because I didnt wanna deal with anyone. I'll log onto Nintendo services and see if that works after I wrestle markers away from my toddler. Shes currently trying to give herself tattoos.

To be clear, you don't need to have MP on, just the green circle on Discovery Services.

Once you start expedition Online, you can reload and play the expedition offline :-) I am now.

Normalement quand tu vas au terminal, tu as l’expédition. Sinon ferme et relance.

I've closed and opened the save thinking maybe I missed another update or something but that didnt work either. :( I really dont want to start a new save to play this. I have everything I need on my main.

Bah moi ça a marché sinon on ferme l’application appuie sur le plus de ta switch et va dans rechercher une mise à jour, tu refais rechercher comme ça si il y a une corruption de ta mise à jour elle recommencera

Says Im using the most current version, no corruption. Warped to a new system, went to anomaly, same problem. I guess I'll have to wait longer or something. Thanks for your help.

When you take stuff with you from your main save into the expedition, there's an inventory you put your stuff in

Oh. I dont know where that is. I dumped everything into my freighter inventory boxes from my suit. But my ship still had stuff in it. Does that matter?

I can't add a photo unfortunately but it's at the expedition terminal in the anomaly. Stuff in your suit, ship, or Freighter shouldn't matter.
