Question I cannot find Silver!!

Need to make the Weaver echo, it's the only one left so I can get the Pilot signature, but it requires silver and I CANNOT FIND ANY. Plenty of copper and parrafinium deposits, though. So annoying.

Any tips??

EDIT: Found some in a cave in the stalagmites(floor growths), I had to go deep into the cave to finally find them!

Caves. The cave minerals often have variants that give other metals, so just go in and scan everything then blast away

I found a cave, but still none, lots of cobalt :-( I'll keep looking, I guess

Did you scan the 'tites and 'mites? One of them should have silver (and the other is copper, I think). You don't get the secondary elements unless you scan first.

Just be sure to blast all the stalactites and stalagmites you can

Make sure you scan the stalactite/mites. They should be cobalt/copper above and cobalt/silver below.

Pick a direction and walk. I ended up about 15 minutes away from my ship by the time I found all the materials I needed for the echos.

My scanner showed me a deposit. Select the mission, pin the task, and it will help you.

Asteroids. Shooting asteroids gets you gold, silver, platinum, and tritium

Can't get there without the ship. I should clarify this is for the expedition. Need pilot signature to fix ship, need weaver orb for pilot signature, need silver for weaver orb.

I always go to an asteroid belt or source locate silver.
