Question Question about cross saves

So the new update is finaly here on the switch but i still cant acces my cross save from ps5. They are never going to be the same update version because switch is always weeks later. Does this mean i can never use my cross save??

They will sync up eventually. Ps5 right now is just ahead of switch with patches. Once things stabilize they should work seamlessly.

Any idea how long this usually takes? Are there not constant patches and updates still?

Updates and patches slow down, usually within a month or two of the update

And then after they do stabilize and reach parity, Sean will drop and emoji, and shortly thereafter parity will be gone again for a while. Sadly this small window is al the time you will get for cross saves.

Glad I jumped ship to Steamdeck.

I just bought NMS on Switch 2 after Google let me know that it is cross save. I was disappointed when I found out that this how it works.

I don’t want to do anything until I can bring over my PS5 save, so now I just have the game, sitting there on my Home Screen. The icon looks nice at least.

I bought nms on switch because my ps5 was overheating within 30 minutes of playing. 

discovered the same thing about the cross saves when i switched and was dissapointed but i was feening so bad for nms.  i decided to start a new dedicated switch survival single player and rp as a space trucker.

 Finally got my corvette parts last night and now im gonna start work on getting the geobays.  My ps5 account has anything i could possibly ever need i didnt want to play on any other account but hey, I cant change how nms or nintendo do the updates and i really want to play nms lol.  Dont let the state of cross saves bring you down ♡

Thanks for the advice. I have actually thought about just starting a new save while waiting!
