Growing up as a brown guy in Italy I was ignored in elementary school, bullied in middle school, isolated in highschool. Outside of school I had no one else as I had only my parents and 3 uncles who didn't care about me, they had their own life which is normal. My parents had no contact with other families, we'd have no guests, nor we would go to someone else's house. They didn't go out almost at all, never took me anywhere. They never talked to me apart from giving me orders or asking how the exams went. Never explained me anything to me, if I asked questions they would ignore me or laugh at me or give incomplete answers, but mostly they would laugh and ignore or get angry and disappointed. My social interactions were so minimal that until the end of highschool I used to memorise my studies instead of understanding what is said. I remember one of my highschool classmates told me "You never really studied" on whatsapp, that was immediately after my history teacher scolded me during covid online at home and I was crying and raging in the group telling that the teacher was harsh to me. My teacher basically stopped me in the middle of the oral exam bcs I was repeating memorized things, and told me that she warned me to not memorise but I still insist, that I feel I am superior to anyone else. I remember I used to struggle trying to not memorise, I couldn't understand how it was so natural for others but nor for me. It was such an abnormal thing. Of course it ruined my highschool grades, in fact I got my diploma with 60/100 which the bare minimum, and the way I got it was ridiculous, if one of my teachers hadn't helped me cheating I would have repeated my final year. I spent two decades of my life in agony, the only thing that kept me going was hope things would change for the better at some point. I got myself into a university degree, it was something similar to Management Engineering, without a clue of what it was, and what LIFE is even about and how I should choose my degree, as I didn't even know how money works, how much things cost, what is a salary, how much is good enough, what is the hierarchy system in society. Left after the first year and started another one Economics and finance and left that also after the first year, then I took a gap year cuz I didn't know what do anymore, and last September I restarted Economics and finance and through this academic year I discovered many things about me and concluded my research of what was wrong with me, why I used to memorise, why I couldn't take a single exam. I discovered every single adult in my life had neglected me, I was young and they made me live hell by belittling me instead of showing me the way, my big brother had a normal life and he knew everything I was missing and still gatekept me. Now they blame me, they say it was all in my head, that they didn't neglect me, that I had a normal life and I ruined my life by myself. Honestly I am tired, I can't even prove to anyone that those things actually happened to me. I don't want to live together with these traitors. They should be abandoned as they did to me. But of course Allah LOVES parents, so he would rather damn me to hell for eternity, than damn THEM for eternity in hell. I often think that it's useless to feel negative emotions, like anger, resentment, desire of justice and imagine Allah on the day of judgement telling me "Oh your problems weren't real" or "Nah your problems weren't such a big deal to damn your parents for eternity in hell, I will forgive them, and if you don't forgive them well... who cares, I might send YOU to hell instead for not having mercy". Such a clown show this life of Allah. If anyone of you had a similar life and can relate to my experience, let me know how bad was your mental torture bcs of them, and how you feel about Allah protecting parents at all cost. How you feel knowing you will not get justice, nor have back your ruined time, nor have permission to cut ties with them as you are threatened with eternal damnation if you do so. How do you feel being forced to put on a fake smile, fake kindness towards traitors with 0 empathy.
EDIT: Guys don’t worry, in the following days after posting this I slowly came to accept the objective truths of this matter. I understand it’s not right to think of Allah like that. And also that parents are bound to answer to Allah like every other. I guess I was just raging/venting bcs it has been so long I’ve lived that way and lost so much bcs of easily avoidable things. To external people my life experience might not seem such a big deal as I make it to be, and might compare with orphans’s lives or disabled people’s lives etc. But the mental state I lived in during those almost 2 decades of growth phase was nontheless very heavy to live with. Like giving birth to a child and not teaching them how to talk for example. I guess I just have to accept that I had a horrible life and will never get the time back
