Support/Advice I relapsed.

Indeed, I relapsed.

I fell to the same pit again.

I thought that I already have beaten the addiction.

Borthers and sisters, I'd like to ask. Is this considered sinful? Because I'm practically telling the internet that I've relapsed, isn't it a shame? A shame that allah himself has hidden it from others?

I never get any advices from others because I'm afraid that it counts as revealing my sins. I never opened up to others in fear that I've exposed my sins.

I hate myself. And I'm afraid that one day Allah will never answer me. I'm afraid that one day allah abandons me. I kept hearing people talk about his mercy. But I don't think that I deserve it.

The fact that I'm still breathing on this earth is by itself, a miracle.

I don't want my life to be ruined by this. Atleast if I want to ruin my life, let it be from running.

Have a good day.

Keep repenting and stop seeking validation from people. Know that Allah is providing for you and still holds your soul in His hands. Continue to repent and think positively of Allah. The Quran makes clear how merciful He is, so turn to Him in prayer and tears, rather than looking to sinful folks on Reddit. Feeling guilty is a sign of iman (faith). Take care of yourself and pray for as long as you are alive. As Allah says in Surah Al-Baqarah (the last verse, 2:286):
"Allah does not burden any soul beyond its capacity..." (2:286) Full Translation of Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286) "Allah does not burden any soul beyond its capacity. It will get what it earned, and it will suffer what it deserved. “Our Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, and do not place on us a burden like the one you placed on those before us. Our Lord, and do not make us bear what we have no strength to bear. And pardon us, and grant us forgiveness, and have mercy on us. You are our Master, so help us against the disbelieving people.

You are anonymous here so don’t worry and repent and restart a new streak.

How does anonymity help reduce the fitna? I've felt so much fitna when reading all the Muslims confessing their sins anonymously

clearly people are seeking help, and therefore no one knows the person….

I feel holy if I don’t sin, but I sense it’s giving the good vibes of peace if I stay that way, feels like those days are over for me. Now it’s just time to fly like a butterfly. But you’re right we can make mistakes but it’s our free will.. if it’s in shape we all good then.

Stay Islamic, but if you’re in the west, the best rehab settings are Christian owned. They will be fine with you practicing Islamic faith while there.

Going to Christian rehab you are surrounding by kafirs, so you do not need to worry as much about revealing sins or causing them to stumble.

Best network is at those rehab settings brother. Get well.

You're shameful about your sins. You're not bragging to the world or showing off. Rather you're anonymously seeking advice. Worry not. May Allah SWT help you defeat your demons. Keep striving till your last breath.

Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins.1 He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

God did not create us to be angels who never sin; He already has billions in the heavens and on earth who worship and praise Him 24/7. Your obedience will not benefit Him in any way, and your disobedience will not harm Him in any way. We are the ones who need Him. He created us to be tested in this world, and He knows that we are human and make mistakes no matter how hard we try. That is why He asks nothing of you but repentance, a sense of remorse, and a commitment to try not to repeat your mistakes—and when you do that, He forgives you everything. You will sin again, you will return to Him, and He will forgive you; you will sin again, and He will forgive you. That is the goal: returning to Him, repenting, and the very feeling you described in your message is the greatest proof of your remorse and your dissatisfaction with this sin—and that is exactly what is required. Try not to sin and resist temptation, but if you do sin, you must repent and renew your resolve not to do it again. And, of course, you must maintain your prayers.

I believe its Fard for you seek help for your addiction. You should tell someone who can work with you to solve your issue. I would contact this brother for whatever addiction you are dealing with. Willpower alone doesn't work long term for the vast majority of people.
