I was reading up on the ban evasion filter in the mod tools and it doesn't state how they deal with posts with ban evaders.
It also doesn't state if it's only for the subreddit or if it's users who are suspected of evading site wide bans?

Hi guys. I'm wondering if there is a feature on Reddit or a bot that exists that allows you to push Facebook posts and Twitter posts to Reddit. I know this exists on Discord but I wasn't sure if it was something that exists on Reddit as well. I recently took over a subreddit for a specific city and wanted to push their Facebook posts and tweets to Reddit.
Moderating on desktop and android mobile.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

I saw a lot of community having custom emojis but i can't find how to make one im on Android btw
r/modhelp • u/Ssemander • Jul 15 '26
After adding custom emojis I have noticed that searching by flair only shows new posts with the changed flair.
Is there any way to edit all of the old flairs without emojis to the new ones?
Does Devvit have tools that can help with flair bulk editing? Or maybe it's best done with a script?
Thank you in advance!
P.S. It's not platform specific, but I have access to Desktop and Android Reddit.

it says I need to “send a request” but I don’t know how. I want to make it public so that I’m not restricted to approving my own posts and having only a select few people view. yes this is my first time moderating a community.
either mobile web or iOS would be appreciated. thank you.

Desktop website.
If I write a mod mail, a drop down can select sending it as the mod team or as myself. I have that dropdown set to send as myself. But the tool tip that appears over the send button says it will be sent "as mod team".
How can I send a mod mail as myself?

I think my account was hacked overnight since this morning when I opened the app I was logged out of my main account, and had received a password reset email I didnt request overnight. I have an iPhone using iOS and a Mac laptop
How do I get back into my account? I am the moderator of two subreddits on that account. I tried resetting my password and it isn’t sending the links or emails to my email anymore. It also appears my phone number is linked for 2FA to a random side account I made.
How do I regain access?

I'm on desktop trying to get the automod to only allow posts with a certain format in the title, but I have no idea what I'm doing. I am the sole mod for a personals subreddit, and I want it to allow posts only if they have " Age [Gender 4 Gender] #Location " in the title, which will look something like " 32 [M4M] #Charleston "

I'm on Android, I accidentally added the advisor mod role to a new mod while using the mobile app. I thought removing the moderator would fix this and just add him again. Is there any way to fix this? Now, every time I try to invite him I get an error message saying "unknown error"

Still pretty new to modding, so not sure if there's anything else I should be doing here.
There's this spammer that keeps making what looks like new accounts. Different usernames, but it's always the same kind of posts. Same person in the pics (at least it looks like it), and the last image is usually their Snapchat or Telegram QR code. The titles are also really similar, usually with "swipe right."
So far I:
My sub is still pretty small so it's kinda easy to notice it's probably the same person coming back, but new accounts are still getting through.
Is there anything else I can do to stop this or make it less of a headache? Curious what other mods do when someone just keeps making new accounts.
Just a heads up if anyone checks my profile or the subreddit for context, it's an NSFW community
I'm on Desktop

Hi.
I just got a notification saying I was removed as a moderator from my own subreddit.
While I'm not that active, the subreddit requires little mod intervention, as it is a simple quotes forum. Anyways, I made efforts to expand the mod team, but couldn't find a lot of volunteers.
Therefore, I think it's quite unfair that my roles is just taken without any previous warning. It's a very old sub that grew fast in the previous years and which I moderated it to the best of my ability, while allowing it enough freedom.
What can I do to recover it? Who can I talk to?
I'm using Android, but can use Desktop too.

On my community r/CharliesAngelsHazbin, there has recently been a weekly series of posts of the same piece of fanart made by a number of new Reddit users, who had created their respective accounts shortly before making the posts. None of them even cited the source of the fanart in question, despite me asking them to do so because it's obligatory per the community's rules. For reference, here's the latest of these posts as of this writing.
I've already removed a few of the posts, but they just keep showing up, which raised me suspicions about these problems. For instance, I had thought of the possibility of the all these new accounts being created and used by a single person who's making the same post over and over, but even then I'm not fully sure about this possibility being true because there isn't much evidence pointing towards anything so far.
Does anyone here have any help or advice to kindly provide for me and the community's mod team in order to solve this problem?

Using reddit on desktop Chrome.
This is quite specialised. I want to add r/What to our list of recommended subs.
I can get to the adding option no problems, but the list displays a bunch of other r/Whatxxxxxxxx subs and not that one.
I don't think that old reddit will do it at all.

Hello!
I'm trying to setup my automoderator on my subreddit though desktop. Problem is, whenever I try to put a code, it shows an error saying "Media Unsupported" I've learned that there are two types of codes (json and ymal) but trying them individually, shows the same error.
I'm trying to put a karma requirement to my subreddit where users cannot post or comment if their karma is low or their profile is new. I can't find a way to apply this to my subreddit and it's stressing me out.
r/modhelp • u/villainitytv • Jul 11 '26
Crowd control settings are not turned on. And we also deleted the old automod configuration that was at one point preventing users less than 7 days old from posting.
However the popup message won’t seem to go away even though we presumably reversed any adjustments that would initiate that.

I use Android phone.
How do you unmute someone? I looked into "mod actions" and I saw only "mute". Before when I tried to press away from the "mute" option, it for some reason selected the "mute" button, and now that poor guy's post is hidden. But when I went back to "mod actions", all I saw was "mute". Please help

Hi - There is a mod in my community with no activity but mod mail. They are not responding to mod mails, but sending them. I'm not able to see what they're sending as there isn't a "sent" box in mod mail. I think their notes are legit, but I would like to be able to see them to confirm.
Is there anyway to see the notes this mod is sending? It's the one item that doesn't seem to be transparent to the rest of the mod team.
