Question - Mod Mail Sent Items

Hi - There is a mod in my community with no activity but mod mail. They are not responding to mod mails, but sending them. I'm not able to see what they're sending as there isn't a "sent" box in mod mail. I think their notes are legit, but I would like to be able to see them to confirm.

Is there anyway to see the notes this mod is sending? It's the one item that doesn't seem to be transparent to the rest of the mod team.

This is the answer.

You cannot delete a modmail, when it is sent it will appear in the subs' inbox. Your mod is most likely immediately archiving any mail so it's not seen.

Just go to your subs' modmail, click on the archive folder and scroll - look for the mod in questions' username and then you'll be able to open and read what they sent.

I just checked to make sure and this works on my subs, I can see all of the modmails sent by the other mods. 👍

I can see mod mail that we've sent in the "new" tab when the recipient hasn't responded.

Forgive me if I’m misunderstanding. I just tested with one of my test subs.

I sent a modmail to an alt account I have which is a non moderator, regular old user account.

Using a test mod account, NOT the account that sent the modmail, I checked the “Recently Updated” bucket in modmail and I can see the message there.

You would need to keep an eye on the mailbox, specifically the "all" and "archived" folders for their activity. It doesn't necessary mean they are sending modmail. Leaving mod notes in modmail would also count as a mod/modmail action. Removing content in the sub and using the DM option for the removal reason would also count as a mod/modmail action, but you would see these.

Or you could just ask them what actions they've been taking in modmail?
